He walks steadily and confident into the room, broadcasting his perfect const.i.tution posture and his majestic aura but no one knows how nervous he was at the moment. In his hand, a bouquet of daisies he personally chose before came to the hospital. He really didn't know Kahina preference thus he just needs to buy a different kind of flower until he gets it right but it doesn't matter because of she obviously unable to tell him with her current condition.

"Good morning everyone. How is she?" he ignored the intense gaze on him.

"Good morning your a.s.s!! Don't come here pretending it was not your fault!" Keito suddenly yelled and storm at him but he is stopped by Kaede.

"Let me go!!! I don't care if he is Anzo's or even G.o.d itself, I will f.u.c.king kill him today!!" He continues to lash out before he abruptly stops by a hand on his shoulder. He doesn't need to look at the owner of the hand; he knows perfectly the feel of his father's. He swallowed his anger before slump himself on the couch in the centre of the room.

"Please sit, Mr Anzo" Takio composed expression impressed Touma a lot. He understands the man with knowledge and wisdom is way different than a youngster like himself.

"Thank you, Mr Hinode" he unconsciously straightens his back before he sits anxiously. Ando behind him remains standing to his side.

"Do you have anything to explain?" Takio calmly a.s.sessed Touma reaction. There are a bit nervousness shows in his eyes but not too obvious. This young man in front of him really good at hiding his feeling and controlling his emotion. After a few moments, Touma clears his throat and start to speak.

"I am truly sorry about the accident but I came here today to deny Anzo involvement in that matter. I need to admit he was our shatei from the west region. Unfortunately, he acts by himself without our orders. I already send all his family and kin to be on your mercy. You may do whatever you want with them." When he finished he heard a loud scoffed from Takio.

"Does by killing them she will wake up?" his calm voice reaches Touma and in Touma's surprised he even smiling at him. It is not the kind of smile that warms any hearts but more to put any hearts in the submission of his mercy.

"No, but by offering you half of the west territory might subside your anger a bit" Touma can see his anger bubbling out after he offered him their territory. He thought by offering him half their territory will show how serious of him to negotiate terms but never did he expect it would anger him more. A woman in Yakuza Family is highly respected but normally because they were being used to the family to expand their territory and power, then it should enough he was willing to give up their most powerful territory to them. He compensates for Kahina incident with power. The values should be the same. The west region generates almost 100 million yen (almost 90 million USD) for them and to lose it, it is going to make a toll on them but it is better than war itself. His father really mad at him when he told him the plan but he and Oata have come up with another plan to compensate their lost later.

Takio feels like he wants to trample the young man in front of him. How he can't understand the significance of Kahina existence to him? She is his daughter for G.o.d sake!

"It won't settle a thing." Takio threatens him. His bloodshot eyes show his wrath he barely contains.

"Then, please state your term," Touma tried to negotiate with him. He promised his father to make this matter go away and between Hinode's anger and his father, his father scared him more.

"A life for a life," Takio replied nonchalantly as if it was nothing.

"Which life do you want?" Touma wonders which life considered equivalent to Kahina and Takio answer caught him of guards.

"You..." calm composed but intimidates enough for him to feel the chill on his spine. Takio wants his life. The successor of Anzo Family. His life value can't even be compared to Kahina. He values more. He is the future of Anzo Family and Kahina is only the daughter of Hinode.

"This is absurd!!" Touma immediately stands and his action put everyone did the same. Everyone in the room right now is so intense ready to fight anytime. Ando already calls back up earlier when he figures Touma negotiation doesn't the way he wanted to.

"Young man, either you or entire Anzo Family. I will consider you choose the latter the moment you leave this room." he pressed specifically to the word 'Anzo Family'. He enjoyed looking at Touma tomato red face full of anger. 'Who did he think of my daughter? A simple card I play to gain power? He is the absurd one,' he mumbles silently inside.

Ando grits his teeth furiously. He should warn Touma about Takio manipulative and scrupulousness ways of thinking. Takio always gains the most in any of the arbitration he had and he never let any loophole in any of it. Thus, neither he let them come up with any counter plan. He sighs regretfully. Wisdom of experience man always helps a lot.

Sacrificing him to protect his entire family the biggest gamble he can't take. Without him, there will be a dispute to gain his position and it will weaken the family. This will open the opportunity for others to attack them but if he didn't, Hinode Family will declare a war between them resulting to them weakening as well. Any of his options bring him to the same conclusion; it will cause chaos to the family. He is really dumbfounded. The man in front of him is too fierce, strike within the spot that is really hurt the most.
