Wait...
Someone.. someone's sleeping on my arm.
I pulled out the cover only to find the ever so beautiful Ayumi sleeping on my shoulder. I wanted to scream but I didn't want to wake her up. Koneko had already reverted back to her cat form and is still currently sleeping on my chest. Her soft purrs and nyans made me feel nice.
I had found my head tied with herbs and my burnt bruises wrapped in bandages drenched in some kind of essence.
I flicked open my window to see what those herbs were. A panel appeared before me full of information and data.
-Orchista Herb-
Heals the user from inflicted acids, poisons, toxins and fever overtime.
Special Bonus:
Heal over time.
I think while I was in my deep sleep, they had my wounds tended. I remembered... Ayumi had one on her chest, a burn. I stared at her with my eyes shaking as it gets lower.
"Ack.." I swallowed my saliva trying to hold back my scream.
She was wearing a nightgown and it was a see-through one. Her chest was pure and just the right size. Her chest was leaning over my side, making me feel a bit of heaven. This is stupid. How could I let myself take advantage of this?
Then I noticed the burns on her chest were still fresh and untended. It was still blackening and her flesh was a bit reddish. Ignoring her soft blooming b.r.e.a.s.t.s, I ignored her dots. I slowly pulled my arm out of her, trying not to wake her up. Koneko, denying the laws of gravity, stayed sleeping on my chest.
"Ehmmmm... hmm.," Ayumi mumbled in her sleep. It gave me a tiny bit of a heart attack.
I had finally pulled my arm out and made her sleep more comfortable on her bed. I held Koneko behind her naped and placed her on my shoulder. I started looking around the room.
I opened the drawer and only found Ayumi's lingerie. I quickly yet quietly closed it back. Then I found a brown stash lying on the table by the window.
I opened it, and a panel appeared on my vision. It enlisted the items Ayumi had looted yesterday. I scrolled down and down until I found it.
Yes! This will work nicely!
There was a bucket under the table and it contained fresh water. I guess this bucket was for drinking, well sorry I guess. I'm going to use it. I started stas.h.i.+ng again, searching for the right item. Then finally I was able to find it.
-Ember Rock-
Obtained: Obsidian Golem
Rarity: Ultra Rare
Sorry Ayumi, I'll borrow these for a moment.
I started dropping the rocks on the bucket, slowly boiling the fresh water. I took out the Orchista herbs and started mus.h.i.+ng them using my boots. I was still wearing my brown clothing and my black pants so don't get the wrong idea. I didn't sleep naked with two girls.
After I had fully turned the herbs into a paste, I immediately pulled out the hot rocks using the system called collect loot, which enabled me to loot nearby items into a stash without picking them up, then poured the paste in.
Using one dagger that Ayumi had bought during our runs in the village, I used it as a tool for mixing. The water was hot just right for the skin. The once sky-blue water had turned green and a panel appeared, informing me that I learned a new pa.s.sive skill.
-Herbal Master-
Healing factor leveled up +1
Medicine and Potion Effect leveled up +1
I didn't know that I had already made a potion. I didn't even know what I was doing, I was just simply following what Namimi had done while she was alive playing Alheira X.
This will be sufficient. I went out of the room quietly and went down to the main hall. I approached the innkeeper. He was fine until he saw me. He had become nervous again. I don't know why and I won't even bother asking. Ayumi comes first.
"I'll buy a wool towel please then I'll borrow these wooden spoons."
I still had that bronze coin left and paid it to the innkeeper. He realized that I wasn't so bad after all and began to calm down as he hands me the wool towel. It sized like a face towel. After he had received the coin, he reached out for the wooden spoon then gladly gave it to me. The main hall was quite empty and there was no one drinking beer this time. It was quiet and peaceful.
I returned back to Ayumi's room and found her silently sleeping. I sighed out of relief, knowing that I hadn't woken her up.
I took the spoon and filled it a bit of the potion I made. I had to test it first before giving it to Ayumi.
Slurp.
My bruises started to heal up and my debuff began to fade away. I had a fever. I remember feeling someone kept on nursing me while I was asleep. She kept changing the towels on my head and after that, she tied a herb around it. She even tended my burns. I know it was Ayumi because I remember feeling Koneko sleeping on my side.
Alright, these seem fine.
I drenched the towel into the bucket after it had filled up with the potion I had walked towards Ayumi. I sat on the chair found next to the bed.
I pulled open the cover and her body appeared wearing the nightgown. Her chest looked soft and pinkish. I held back my temptation, trying to ignore her nipples. I lifted her nightgown then placed the towel on her chest. I clicked open my panel and then opened my friend list.
I used inspect system which enables me to open a friendly user panel showing her stats and information.
Ayumi, Level 3, Cla.s.s ???
-Inflicted-
Acid Burns
Fever
So I guess she did level up. But focusing on the matter, she was suffering. She's a strong girl being able to withstand the pain.
The effects started to kick in.
+Orchista Potion+
Heal infliction and health overtime at a much faster speed.
Special Bonus+
Since the potion was brewed with Level 1 Healing Factor and Level 1 Medicine and Potion Effect, the potion will last longer and heal faster for another 1 second.
I see. Such convenient pa.s.sive skills these are. They seem very helpful.
Ayumi's discomfort began to disappear and her temperature seems to return back to normal. But I had to repeat the process every five minutes. I took out the towel, washed it, drenched it again with the potion then placed it back to Ayumi's chest. This will make things faster and this will heal her even more.
I still can't deny Ayumi's effort. I realized that now, I had fallen for her. My heart began to race as I look at her. I couldn't help it. I couldn't endure... I just had to.. I just had to.. kiss her...
Forehead.
She smells nice and her dark silky hair ripples through the wind. Her hair was adorned with a rose hairpin and her cheeks looked soft. She smiled in her sleep and mumbled.
"Idiot.."
I knew I had to leave before anything gets worse. I left a note and poured the potion into a wooden mug.
'Drink this when you wake up.'
I woke Koneko and we ate fish for lunch. It was delicious and tender. The shop we ate it was the same shop we bought the fish on a stick. The owner was basically a harpoon cla.s.s which means he masters in fighting water attributes and his seafood cooking were maxed out. That explains the taste.
We went outside the village where Daffolum where found. Daffolum were level 1 monsters nesting in this area called Easy Gra.s.s Valley. They were the size of a golfball and seemed harmless.
I decided to try out my skill. I made Koneko play with the Daffolums and told her to help me immediately after my pain had fully returned. The moment she had left, my chest began to hurt. But the pain was still on the easy stage that I can endure.
"Stride!"
My feet started to tickle and a burst of energy went out exploding. It sent me drifting above the ground. I was like skating but the only difference was that there were no skates, no wheels nor Rollerblades.
It sent me like a jet across the valley. I have to master this skill. This will be useful in traveling, evading and attacking. I'll be the master strider of this world! Meh... Sounds stupid.
My movement had made a stop after expending all my mana. Seems like it costs a lot of mana over time on use. I returned walking back to the Easy Gra.s.s Valley, it was basically a half-hour walk.
Koneko still seemed busy chasing Daffolums and my pain seemed to be still on the easy stage. I had to do this.
"Stride!"
"Stride!"
"Stride!"
I had repeated it until the day had gone noon. As of now, I am resting on the ground and leaning on the village wall. I had Koneko attached to my shoulder since the reason I had halted was because of my tension. I had fallen to the ground and curled up, luckily these kids saved me.
"Mister... Are you alright now?" A sweet little girl asked me. She had brown hair and pale skin.
"I'm fine. Thank you for helping me." I patted her head. She was happy that I appreciated her help.
"What were you doing in the middle of the valley anyway, mister? You look weak."
A boy insulted me. He had a spiky red hair and gave off the vibe that he's one of the naughtiest ones you know in cla.s.s. His wide grin showed he had a broken tooth. I bet he gets into fight always.
"That's rude of you, Nii-san." The little girl said to her stubborn brother.
"I saw him gliding through the field. Is that your skill, mister?" A boy with black hair asked me. He had that look that made me think girls would fall for. He's pretty handsome for a little kid and looks smart too.
"Yes. It is my skill. Although I haven't mastered it yet, I was able to adjust to it a bit." I smiled at them proudly telling that I was able to improve a bit.
"That's so cool!" The little girl raised her hands into the air.
"Meh. That's lame. If I grow up! I'll be a swordsman! I'll be the best and my powers will be awesome! Like Dark Blade Piercing Burst Mega Ultra or something!" The red hair kid boasted.
"That's a very long name for a skill," I replied. He got irritated and immediately approached me while clenching his fists. But I held his head which made him unable to reach me.
"He's right. That name is too long. I think it's better called Dark Revenge." The kid in the black hair started swinging his arms thinking he has a sword. But his idea was better and seemed had much sense than the p.r.i.c.kly kid.
"By the way, mister! What's your name?" The p.r.i.c.kly red-haired kid asked me.
"I'm Yakiro, and this is Koneko." I pointed Koneko, sleeping on my shoulder.
"Wow! So cute!" The girl suddenly s.n.a.t.c.hed Koneko from me and then started rubbing her in every place. Koneko struggles to escape at first but then she became happy. Maybe those belly rubs were great. Wait, don't only dogs like that? Well, nevermind.
"H-hey. Don't take Koneko from me." I smiled at her and she immediately returned Koneko to me.
Nyaaaaan~
I bet Koneko said 'That felt great!'
"I'm Rina!" The adorable little girl smiled cutely at me.
"I'm Ryan! I'm the future Dark Fire Armor Knight King!" The annoying kid annoyingly introduced himself.
"I'm Edward."
I think people around here use names like that. The reason I was able to understand them was because of my system's auto-translation. But I still couldn't read signs nor their writings here.
Ruri and Ryan are siblings and Edward is their friend. They told me that Edward was an orphan and they made him live with them.
"Kids! Come home!" Their mother called them. She waved at me and I waved back. People living here are really nice. First I considered them as NPCs when I came here but now, I know they are alive and living their lives in this world.
The kids gave me a smile then went back to their mother happily.
I stood up and stretched my back.
"You!" A familiar voice angrily shouted at me.
I looked behind and saw Ayumi coming straight at me. Every step had a heavy stomp and trampled on the gra.s.s. Her brows met and she's biting her lip.
"Ayumi! Looks like your getting fine. Hows.. y-your?" I started running away from her. She began to chase me and little by little she's getting nearer. She's too d.a.m.n fast! I bet her agility is higher than mine!
"S-stride!"
Brzzzzzsht!
She's still chasing with me. I can't believe she's able to keep up with me. Her speed was remarkable and she runs with her hands on her back like a ninja.
"I'm sorry!"
"Come here, you!"
Koneko's trying her best to hold onto me. Ayumi's cloak went off and her speed just suddenly increased.
I ended up being caught and we crashed to the ground. She laid on top of me and raised her hand.
SMACK!
She slapped the h.e.l.l out of me. That was one h.e.l.l of a gorilla slap. My hp became half immediately! Just how strong is this girl?
"That's for violating me!"
Then suddenly she pulled me from the ground.
"And this! This is for helping me.."
She suddenly embraced me. I don't know why but she's so happy about what I did. What I did was only natural since I was her companion. Maybe she appreciates the little things.
"I didn't know you two were close." Arnel suddenly spoke, destroying the vibe.
"T-that's wrong, Arnel." Ayumi pouted.
"Hehe, then I guess I was wrong."
Elena and Ymil stayed quiet. Ymil was carrying a huge brown sack. It contained all the loot they achieved during their grinding.
"How much you earned?" Arnel asked me.
"Not much. Seems like you earned the highest, Arnel."
"Here." Arnel handed me a red ruby.
-Red Ruby-
Sell for a high price.
"I can't.."
"Hey, you're part of our team ain't you? That's our share." Arnel smiled at me.
"Thanks! I was thinking of buying new pieces of armor!"
We went back inside the village and took a rest at the inn. We didn't tell them that I'm staying in Ayumi's room. Ayumi ordered another bed, so now there's two. It was arranged separately and parallel to each side.
I opened my panel and checked my stats. It was pretty much the same.
I opened Ayumi's.
H-huh?
Why is it suddenly level 28?
Ayumi, Level 28, Cla.s.s Shadow Thief.
How?
"Ayumi! How come you have a cla.s.s now and level 28? I checked out lately and found you were only level 3."
"Pervert! You're basically stalking me! That's disgusting!"
"Hey! You're wrong! It's only natural since we're teammates!"
"Idiot! Stupid Dog! Stop getting into my things!"
"What? How come I'm a dog and your not a gorilla?"
She threw a pillow at me.
"That's rude!" She started to pout and her eyes became teary.
"H-hey.."
Nyaaan~
Koneko yawned. It was nighttime already.
