Chapter 167

"Are you really d.i.c.ken around at a time like this?" By Rue's tone, and the fact she was barely able to contain her laughter as she spoke, James knew she wasn't serious in her question. As such, James had no reason to answer her question.

The comment of hers, of course, came about from his decision to summon a d.i.c.ken first as his grand show of his power. That, and he was actually quite curious about how his summons would be impacted with his grandeur size. Were they going to be enhanced in size as well? James was hesitant to summon anything larger than a d.i.c.ken, until he figured that out. Otherwise, he very well might have actually killed and adventurer or two. After all, if the pet sizes transferred over to his increased growth as well…which was roughly an increase of 5times his normal size…well then, the 20foot Breaker's would instead be 100foot…

James's concern was validated by what was standing in front of him. A d.i.c.ken, which normally was only about a foot in height, because he sadly didn't have Upgraded Summon yet, was now a 5-foot-tall d.i.c.ken, standing at his feet, looking all the adventurers in the eyes. Of course, they had no way of knowing that his d.i.c.ken wasn't the upgraded d.i.c.kens they were used to…other than the fact his seemed a lot less fearsome and ferocious and demonic than the ones that had undergone the demonic growth hormone upgrade.

"So, you're a mad summoner?" Z stepped up to look at the d.i.c.ken, which eyeballed the player with interest.

"Well, I can summon yes." James pointed at the ground and called for another mob. This time, he summoned a sacrificial lamb. The sheep, normally about two, or two and a half feet in height, appeared instead as a 10foot walking wooly bomb. Obviously not as spectacular as the ones that existed on his first floor. But hey, James was doing the best he could.

"Stand still adventurer." James did his best to send Z a smirk like the ones Rue flashed him whenever she had something devious in mind. What better way to showcase the true talents of his skills, than to have Z experience them? Besides, while James wasn't fully aware of how powerful his skills were, he was confident Z would survive what he had planned.

"Er-" Z's face paled for a moment, and his smile waivered. It seemed the Knights Who Go Ni leader did not like where this was going.

"Don't worry Z. Worst case scenario, I can resurrect you." Med Ic gave the leader a thumbs up, even as everyone, and James meant everyone, stepped even further away from Z, James, and the ma.s.sive demonic farm animals.

"Right, thanks." Z mumbled as he looked back up at James. "I swear, if you're doing this just gain some experience from me, it's pointless. My Guild and I just leveled up to 40. So, we don't have much experience." Z pointed towards the crowd. "I happen to know the leader of the Boss Slayers has a good bit of experience though."

At the mention of his name, James heard the Orc Dread knight, Skar's, voice echo out from the crowd. Sure enough, standing near the rest of the Knights Who Go Ni, James saw the Boss Slayers. "Screw you too Z."

James let out a chuckle, waiving a finger. "I'll be happy to feast on the experience from our enemies." He pointed his finger towards Z, focusing on the elf. He resisted the urge to pull up Z's info, though curiosity was definitely eating away at him. If the Knights had all just hit level 40, that meant they had new multicla.s.ses and subcla.s.ses. What had Z gotten? What had the others gotten? Did they unlock anymore secret cla.s.ses? The questions were flowing through James, but he did his best to focus on the task at hand. Showing off his skills.

With a thought, James activated his Spiritualist ability to link his d.i.c.ken to Z. As he did, the swirling runes on his arm flashed, and a moment later, a small band of runes appeared on Z's wrist, glowing green. Light from those runes spread to the runes around the d.i.c.ken's neck. While before the runes around the d.i.c.ken's neck had been silvery, to match the swirling silvery runes that ran up James's arm, the new runes around the d.i.c.ken's neck glowed green.

"What did you just do?" Z looked at the glowing runes, and then at the d.i.c.ken, who was still eyeballing him. The elf reached out and touched the creature, which simply stood there and let out a single cluck.

"This." James grinned as, without warning, he sent the sacrificial lamb towards Z. The 10-foot sheep crashed into Z, and, as everyone there expected, it blew up on contact. Because it an upgraded summon, the sacrificial lamb was technically a level 4 mob, instead of a level 2 mob. And, as an Avatar mob, it's stats, and damage, were increased by 10 times. Which meant Baa Baa Boom was about to deal 200 damage to Z.

Instead though, because of Spiritual Fort.i.tude, and how the spiritualist link worked, the damage to Z was reduced by 25percent. Meaning he now was taking 150 points of damage from the explosion. James wasn't sure what Z's defense stat was at currently, but he doubted it was 150. Sure enough, a quick glance between Z, and the d.i.c.ken, showed Z had taken no damage, whereas a small bit of the d.i.c.ken's health bar was gone. What's more, Z defiantly showed he was under the effect of Blood for the Blood G.o.d, but instead of him taking 40 damage every 5 seconds from the skill, considering DoTs ignored defenses, he was taking no damage. Instead, James watched as the d.i.c.kens health decreased by 30 points.

Z looked from James, to the d.i.c.ken, and back to James, a smile growing on his face. "You really are a Mad Mage." Z looked at the others, who were all looking incredulously at what was going on. The Avatar of their Dungeon Core had just summoned two demonic farm animals, bound one to a player, and then blew the player up with said summoned animal. On top of that, the player in question, was currently covered in blood and sheep fur, yet was grinning like a mad man.

"It gets better." James pointed a finger towards the d.i.c.ken, and his silvery runes on his left arm flashed. A second later, silver light covered the d.i.c.ken, and its health points returned to full. Not only could James summon mobs as a spiritualist and link them to players. He could also utilize his mana pool to heal them, cleanse them, or buff them. James really was a big fan of the secret cla.s.s he had unlocked.

Z rubbed his hands together excitedly, seemingly completely uncaring about the blood that was covering him, and the DoT that was still ticking away at the d.i.c.ken's health. Thankfully, James saw Med Ic's hands glowing with a golden light, even as the healer for the Knights Who Go Ni was shaking his head. A moment later, a cleansing spell washed over Z, clearing the blood, fluff, and DoT off of him.

"How about it everyone." Z turned away from James, to the adventurers. "Shall we summon the dungeon's fairy as well?" A loud cheer rang out from all around, and players began rus.h.i.+ng towards the Avatar Summon Totem. This was it; James had done it. They were about to summon Rue as well. And with her, they would be able to begin bringing the battle to BLANK and his forces.

James glanced up into the sky, where Rue had been sitting, a smile on his face. He had done it. However, that smile fell from his face as he saw Rue staring off into the distance, a look of fear on her face. James couldn't quite make out what it was, but something was coming towards them from the sky, moving extremely quickly. James squinted, trying to see what it was. It had to be over a mile away, but it seemed large. Was that… suddenly James realized something. He had no idea what BLANKs third floor boss, nor their world bosses, were.

"We're under attack!" He called out, pointing at the skyline as he started ma.s.s summoning his mobs. BLANK had decided to make their first large scale move on James's players.
