When he had smoked half the cigarette, the face he was waiting for appeared before him. He put the cigarette down and looked through the window.

She hadn't changed at all, it seemed. Her long, black hair was tied into a ponytail. She was wearing a pink jacket over a high-neck white sweater with tight jeans hugging her slender legs.

She could not stand the cold. Even if it was March she wore such thick clothes.

Gu Yubai's hands clenched on the steering wheel, revealing all his emotions.

Lin Meng stood at the entrance of the kindergarten. Usually, she would wait at the gate for half an hour before cla.s.s got over.

She was afraid her son would not be able to find her so she always tried to stand near the gate.

It was his birthday yesterday, but neither the big brother nor Xiao Ning could come back and accompany him.
