Lu Cheng enters the home and sees Aunt Song is busy in kitchen. He can feel his heart beating so fast as if it would jump out of him and escape now.

It never felt so scared in its whole life as right now. Lu Cheng is about to climb the stairs.

Aunt Song comes out hurriedly "Young Master! Do you wish to have your lunch here or shall I send it to your room?".

Lu Cheng looks away nervously as he is not in the mood to waste his time now. He says "I had lunch" and turns to go upstairs but stops.

He turns back and asks "Did she had lunch?".

Aunt Song who has taken few steps back towards kitchen stops in midway and nods "Yes Young Master. Miss had her lunch and even had her medicines without any protest today!".

Lu Cheng gets thinking and looks at the room, in which she was staying before.

Aunt Song smiles and speaks while setting the dining table "She is getting considerate and responsible day by day...She would always urge me to force her to have her medicines but today she didn't say anything!".

Lu Cheng frowns doubtfully "Did you notice any other change?".

Aunt Song notices Lu Cheng's sad face and asks concerned "Young Master....Is there any problem?".

Lu Cheng says "Its nothing..." and goes to the room which Tang Xi was staying before. He stops before the door and forwards his hand to hold the doork.n.o.b.

He thinks seriously and takes deep breath 'I shouldn't get mad ... even if she go insane..'.

He opens the door but he did't find her there. He wipes his cold sweats in his forehead tired and starts searching her.

Lu Cheng searches almost every rooms and stops before his room. 'Would she be here?'.

He smiles bitterly and walks towards the terrace. He looks at Tang Xi standing looking at the sky and felt his heart stopped for an instant. Suddenly he felt his throat got blocked and wanted to drag her in his embrace.

He felt so uncomfortable seeing her standing alone. 'She should have disappointed..'.

Tang Xi who was aware of his presence behind, gets anxious.

Lu Cheng steps ahead towards her slowly and both are so nervous.

He was nervous about her reaction. But Tang Xi is completely into her own world of thoughts. By the time he appeared before her, her wild imaginations almost made her exhaust.

She clutches her fist tight in fear. Yes! She is scared. At first she was so sure about her love...Lu Cheng..That he would only have her in his life. She almost forgot that Lu Cheng had an Ex. She didn't expect his Ex to appear out of nowhere.

Knowing this Tang Xi was shocked first but she is well aware of her place in his heart. Seeing how much he hates his Ex before, her heart grew a blind confidence that her place in heart will never be replaced.

Seeing him hating Rouxi, Tang Xi's heart was feeling happy in some corner of her heart. But after today, Tang Xi's one bad move made her get scared of his reaction. However, it doesn't mean she would step down from her angry mode!.

Initially, she was insanely angry at him. But after hours of waiting, she realized his care for Rouxi . He doesn't want to see Rouxi and hates her but he put his life in danger for her even now.

Tang Xi's only confusion is that 'Is he fooling himself that he hates Rouxi? Or ...The reason for avoiding Rouxi ...Is he scared that he would be affected by Rouxi's presence ?'.

These questions were literally haunting Tang Xi ever since she saw Lu Cheng saving Rouxi with all his efforts.

Tang Xi looks Lu Cheng's shadow beside her and gulps nervously. Yet her face turned angry ...just out of control always..Never learns to pretend!.

Lu Cheng stands next to Tang Xi and looks before silently. Of course he has no words to explain.

Tang Xi too waits for him silently. 'I too would see how long you stay quiet!'.

After a long time of silence, Lu Cheng asks "Did you get hurt?".

Tang Xi gets an urge to slap him then and there but looks away.

Lu Cheng steals some glance of her angry face and says "I am sorry".

Tang Xi smiles bitterly "Stop being sarcastic Young Master Lu Cheng".

Lu Cheng feels discomfort in his heart hearing her distant and formal tone. He says "I am not. I didn't expect a situation-".

Tang Xi smirks "But why do I sense.... you are implying that I should feel guilty for hurting your Ex".

Lu Cheng controls himself and says calmly "I am not Wifey! And I am not blaming you for anything".

Tang Xi looks at his genuine face and declares "Alright! Good to hear that. She deserved that anyway". She walks away as she heard what she wanted.

Lu Cheng holds her hand slowly "I haven't finished yet".

Tang Xi feels the pain in her wrist but his soft approach on her today made her to forget that completely. He never held her with so much care after she irked him. 'He always forced me to stop me from going away!'.

Lu Cheng says smiling "Thank you".

Tang Xi frowns irritated and tries to get her hand back "What are you thanking for?! For trying to kill your Ex?!".

Lu Cheng could sense her weak struggles and smiles seeing her sullen face. 'I thought you would break my skull first'.

Tang Xi feels her hand started hurting by her struggles and looks at him "Now what?! Did you plan to send me jail for hurting her?".

Lu Cheng gets instantly angry and pulls her towards him.

Tang Xi yelps in hurt "Ah!".

Lu Cheng didn't notice her swollen wrist while holding it and holds her waist by other hand "I would cage you if you keep on distancing yourself from me!".

Tang Xi gets tears in anger and warns "Leave me!".

Lu Cheng feels something was off yet smiles "Then why aren't you pus.h.i.+ng me like you always do? Why are you pretending to be angry when you aren't-".

Tang Xi glares at him coldly "You are hurting me!".
