The Binary World 6 First Quest Part-3

Zeus's expression hardened he knew if he dodges he will be flanked on two sides by such large wolves as such with a loud cry he thrust the Sword Staff towards the wolf's maw as he held it tightly with both his hands, his left leg back and with his right knee bent he stood in such a way so that the center of gravity was lower and the sword staff was in the same line as the left leg.

His shook with the impact as he saw the Sword Staff had pierced through the wolf's head, a large red colored number -800 floated above the wolf's head, seeing it Zeus smirked he was able to land a critical hit on the wolf, he knew in his heart the only reason he was able to kill the wolf was because he had taken advantage of the momentum of the wolf.

An option appeared on his HUD.

A loud snarl brought his attention to the second wolf, he grimace his Sword Staff was lodged deeply inside the beast he had to remove it or he would be dead, as the second wolf tried to attack him from his right side, he quickly pressed 'Yes' and no sooner did pressed the option, he was able to move , he drew his legs in before sending a backward thrust using the staff end of the sword thrust, a whimper was heard as he hit the wolf hard on the jaw causing the wolf to get stunned for a few seconds he did not stop there he began attacking the wolf relentlessly, stabs, cuts and smash was what he rained down on the wolf, various numbers were seen -95, -120,-120 was seen floating up on the wolf, before it suddenly tried to bite him causing him to jump back, before lunged towards the wolf putting his weight behind the attack as another -120 floated and the wolf died, he did not waste any time to loot it.

He quickly looted the corpses before left the forest but he only managed to move a couple of meters away from the forest that he was greeted with a couple of howls and soon he found himself surrounded by 4 more wolves and another wolf smaller than the other standing behind them.

Zeus quickly used 'observe ', on them, and two different types stood up.

Zeus's eyes widen at the last one, 4 Feral Wolf and one Dire wolf, he clicked his teeth as he tried to formulate a plan inside his mind, 'From what I have seen it is going to be the most dangerous one, staying back and having large mana means it will be a mage type, d.a.m.n I am so unlucky I have no skill I should have tried practicing using my Sword Staff today I should have tried working with my weapon may be I would have gained something.'

Suddenly without warning the pup spat out a fire ball towards him he managed to dodge it, but it was too close he winced as he felt his skin feel the burn, he took a deep breath and with a war cry he joined the fight.

A wolf lunged at him he send a slash at his snout before he stabbed at him, before twirling his staff he gave it a good whacking on its head, a few numbers went up rapidly -95, -95, -95. He then jumped away from it as a jaw came too close to his head. He saw from the corner of his eye that the dire wolf pup instead of joining him was circling around keeping a close eye on him.

He looked at the injured wolf which was at the back now as two of the wolf stood in front of him but the third was missing, a few -5 went above the injured wolf's head meaning he had successfully inflicted some status most probably bleeding.

He knew the other was already behind him, he slightly turned his head and saw it coming for the kill by jumping on him, he jumped to the left as he swung his Sword Staff making a cut on its neck and a damage of -190 appear on it as -10 went on it, he did not allowed it to rest he stabbed the injured part in quick succession as -120, -120, -120 appeared and it dropped dead.

He knew he had to play safe, if he gets caught it will be game over, he had injured one killed one, so he had two feral and one dire left.

He looked at the stamina and grimaced all the fighting had cost him a lot of his stamina, which was around 1250/1875.

The three wolves growled as the injured one went for the center and the other two flanked him from the either side, and they charged towards him, Zeus decided to attack the one the most injured as he reached him he saw fire sparking from the pup's mouth.

Using his weapon as a guard he maneuvered the injured wolf to be his s.h.i.+eld as a fireball hit it wiyh a loud boom, making it howl in pain as a large number of -200 appeared the wolf was dead but it does not mean it does not have any uses he used it as a s.h.i.+eld as he bashed the Dire wolf pup, making it stumble without warning he stabbed the wolf through it eye hitting the brain with full force, a red figure 0f -350 appeared Zeus as he kicked it hard with full force getting a damage of -80 appearing killing it.

The other two rushed towards him only for him to slay them within a few more minutes. He sighed as he looked at his stamina 700/1875.

He looted the wolves and frowned to see only a single slot inside his inventory but what made his eyes go wide was a skill book inside his inventory s.p.a.ce.

He did not stop walking as he used observe on the skill tome.

He quickly opened it as broke into light before it entered his body, he sighed now only 100 for Suns.h.i.+ne flowers.

Another hour later a figure was scene jogging toward the city gates, in ragged clothing this figure was none other than Zeus he had just finished collected everything and was now moving towards the city gate, it looked like a carnival outside the city gate with the amount of players sitting outside gossiping it seemed they barred from entrance after the time ran out a such they had to stay awake otherwise there is a chance they might get killed outside of safe zone.

As Zeus approached the gate everyone looked at him with amus.e.m.e.nt in their eye, as he reached the gate a guard stopped him, "Stop right there no vagrants allowed in the city come back tomorrow morning."

Zeus: "Sir, I am a serf actually."

The Guard snorted as he spoke, "Yes yes you are a serf touch this crystal if you are a serf, but if you are a vagrant, then you die."

Zeus nodded as he placed his hand on the crystal, it glowed a pale yellowish color, as the guard moved out his way as he spoke, "You are allowed to enter."

Zeus nodded as he entered, a couple of curses which would make even the sailors blush was being uttered behind his back, after he entered the city Zeus went to the spot where he had first met Granny Zoe and low and behold there she was sitting waiting for his return. He sighed it was time to turn in the quest items and then he would check out his stats and he would log out inside the safe zone.
