She wanted desperately to ask him whether he was alright with marrying her. She knew he was probably going to say no because after all, she did blackmail him but as everything was turning so real, she couldn't help but wonder. Especially when Han Soo apologized and in a way gave his blessing to her, it made her feel uneasy.
She also started to worry about how daily life would be with Chang Wook. She's spent practically a whole week with him, and they've argued a lot, but it hasn't been so bad. But that's all been here, going back to Seoul, moving in together, and back to work…she wondered how different things would be.
Will she like it, or will she hate it? Will she want to stay married to him after the few months of their marriage are up or will she be glad to divorce him? She also started to worry about how he will feel after they married. Will he want to remain married to her or will he want to divorce her after a week of marriage?
Chang Wook though, was wondering what would happen during the wedding. Would he kiss her? His face flushed red just thinking about it. Liking his boss was the last thing he would have ever thought of doing, let alone kissing her. Oh, my goodness, what will happen the night of the wedding? Will they maybe have se…No! He can't even imagine it, they haven't even kissed yet, why was he thinking about se…he still can't say it.
'I'm so shameless' Chang Wook thought as he covered his face and wiggled around the floor.
"Chang Wook? Are you asleep?" Ha Eun whispered.
"Yes" he answered. Ha Eun chuckled.
"We're getting married tomorrow" she said. A smile formed on his face.
"I know" he answered. Ha Eun wanted to say more but she didn't know how to say it.
"Goodnight" she said and tried to force herself to sleep. Chang Wook wondered if that was all she wanted to say to him but he couldn't think too much about it. They had a big day tomorrow and he needed some sleep.
When morning came Do Mi and Soo Ryun busted into the room, waking Ha Eun and Chang Wook. They didn't knock so the couple were not given enough time to jump into the same bed together.
The couple looked at each other shocked, wondering what they were going to say in this situation.
"Did our favorite couple have a fight last night?" Do Mi asked.
"That's not good. A couple shouldn't fight the day before their wedding. That's bad luck" Soo Ryun said worriedly.
Chang Wook got up and explained that it wasn't a big fight and that they were alright "We're alright, aren't we honey?" he looked at Ha Eun for a bit of help. She nodded.
"That's right, darling"
"No…I don't believe you" Soo Ryun said. She was worried about the couple getting cold feet "I want to see a kiss" Chang Wook and Ha Eun widened their eyes "You two better kiss, right now. I won't leave here until you do" Soo Ryun had a serious look on her face.
"Grandma, we didn't even argue that much. It was more of a misunderstanding" Chang Wook told her.
"Your grandmother isn't going to stop pestering you until she gets what she wants" Do Mi said "Besides, its not like you two have never kissed before"
"You'll also be kissing in your wedding. Why are you two being shy?" Do Mi added, smiling.
Chang Wook was nervous. They've never kissed before. Ha Eun suddenly got up from the bed and placed a kiss on Chang Wook's cheek. She wrapped her arms around him and smiled at the two women in front of them.
"We're alright now" Ha Eun told them. Although it wasn't on the lips the couple smiled at each other so Soo Ryun could only deduce that they were fine.
"I hope you two aren't planning to kiss like that after the wedding ceremony" Soo Ryun said unamused. Chang Wook and Ha Eun stared at each other, noticing how their arms were wrapped around each other they quickly let go.
"Ha Eun, its time to come with us" Do Mi said. She grabbed Ha Eun by the wrist and pulled her out the room. While Soo Ryun pushed her.
"Wait, where are you going?" Chang Wook yelled after them.
"She has to get ready for the wedding" Soo Ryun said "And so do you"
"No seeing your bride before the wedding" Do Mi added, and they ran downstairs.
Chang Wook scoffed and followed them only to see a huge amount of people in the living room. The men, including his father greeted him and he was pulled downstairs with them. They were going to help him get ready but also have some fun before the set time. Chang Wook looked over at Ha Eun and she was surrounded by women. Mi Jin was also there. She was looking at Wook and waved at him.
Chang Wook waved back.
Ha Eun noticed this exchange and had a strong urge to kill him. At this point she didn't know she was feeling jealous, she just thought of it as her being angry because she was still in her pajamas while everyone surrounding her was well dressed.
While Chang Wook was being dragged around by his friends, Ha Eun was surrounded by women talking about how her hair should be done having her hair played with and having her make up done.
After a few hours, the couple was ready. Chang Wook was dressed in a black tux, and had his hair combed back in an elegant style. His friends joked that he looked like the CEO of a company rather than the secretary of one.
Ha Eun looked as beautiful as always with her white dress. Her hair was pulled up in a bun and Do Mi had connected the veil around the bun, which flowed all the way down to the floor. Her make-up was light which gave off a hint of innocence and made her look all the more beautiful. The women said that she looked like an angel.
"You guys are going to be leaving tomorrow, so I was thinking that maybe we could go to Seoul sometime and…I don't know…Just throwing out ideas…nevermind" Do Mi looked sad but still had a smile on her face.
At that moment Ha Eun realized that since the first moment she met Do Mi, that woman was always smiling. She never looked upset or angry. Ha Eun wondered if Do Mi, ever truly showed what she was feeling during the whole week she's spent with them.
"Yeah, we'd love that. You're welcome to come anytime" Ha Eun said "And we'll always come visit"
Do Mi's eyes suddenly watered. The women around them got worried. Ha Eun wondered if she said anything out of line.
Tears started to go down Do Mi's eyes "That's wonderful" she said and pulled Ha Eun into a hug. This was the first time Ha Eun ever saw someone cry tears of joy. Soo Ryun wrapped her arms around the two women; all the other women and even Mi Jin joined in on the hug.
Ha Eun felt her chest tighten as she looked at the clock. The wedding was going t start soon and she couldn't help but tremble at the thought of it.
