The following morning as Jack woke up from his slumber he was greeted by the entire population of the floor level patiently waiting outside bowing to him.

Jack was unable to tell the time, given that there was no way to see if it was actually the morning or not inside the Dark Goblin Caves which were lit only by torches.

Gyrom had been too poor to afford magical lighting to be installed on his floor and had not bothered with the condition of his floor at all.

Which was why the living conditions and equipment they all used were garbage.

The first floor was home to the main entrance and was large enough for large groups of goblins to pa.s.s through all at once,

The lower levels had there own routes to the outside but none were more larger or convenient than that of the first floor.

The Main Goblin Entrance which could fit larger and more game during hunting trips, it was ideal for goblins who traveled in large groups to the outside.

This was also a big problem in the first floor level because every so often the main cave entrance would be the gateway to a horde of wolves or giant bug attacks.

Gyrom soaked the drapes to his cave room with the predator blood from the mutant Fire Fox and other monsters to ward off these would be invaders.

While he hid in his cave room comfortably and safely accompanied only by his children, the rest of his subjects would be forced to fight or flee for their lives from the incoming horde.

Gyrom was only allowed to build a small fortune without being suppressed by the Elders due to his charge on pa.s.sing the front entrance being very low and free to the other Elders and Yellow Goblins.

The suppression from the other Elders had greatly affected life on the first floor, and for all who resided within its domain.

All there weapons were made of stone and stick they all wore no armor and dressed in tattered and makes.h.i.+ft outfits or loincloths.

Jack now knew that the lower levels had access to precious materials like metal and coal or magical material to provide for there floor level unlike the first floor.

The goblins of the first floor were essentially living like cavemen when compared to the more advanced lower floors levels of the Goblin Tribe.

All of the goblins from the first floor were seen and treated like second cla.s.s citizens by the rest of the goblins.

Gyrom was not even respected or feared as an Elder by the lower floor green goblins and yellow goblins.

Who mocked and ridiculed his name and floor whenever they pa.s.sed through the main entrance.

It brought Gyrom shame that he could not discipline the goblins without fearing the consequences of harming or killing another Elders subjects.

The whole First Floor population of Goblins were offensively referred to as surface dwellers, although Gyrom had not cared too much in the long run Jack did!

Jack had experienced these emotions and feelings as if they were his own when he absorbed the information from Gyrom as a result he was just as p.i.s.sed off at them.

It brought back feelings of being powerless and weak something Jack was not going to tolerate in his second life.

He wanted to change the pathetic status of the first floor.

As it now served as a representation of his domain and power within the tribe.

Jack did not want to do this because he cherished or desired to help these goblins out of goodwill.

But because they were essential to his conquest to power.

How could Jack ever get results or be taken seriously if he was considered another Surface Dweller Elder like Gyrom.

As a Surface Dweller Elder Jack would have no supporters except those who were forced to reside under his domain.

If he could not expand his own reach and military power within the Tribe he would always remain on the short end of the stick.

Jack's plan B if he failed in achieving his goals in the Tribe would be to ditch the Tribe and wander off into the Dark Forest slaying monsters to become more powerful.

But such a thing would require not only great risk but a substantial amount of time to make any progression because he was still weak when compared to creatures like the Blue Demon Bear or Carnivorous Unicorn.

Why kill something on your own when you can get others to kill it with you. and benefit more through their efforts.

If Jack could ama.s.s an army to capture creatures and monsters stronger than him in large groups by using sheer numbers he could deliver the final blow and reap the benefits from the labor of others.

It would be a much more time efficient and effective way to get stronger in a world than lets you level up from killing powerful monsters and enemies.

Jack planned to abuse this as an exploit into evolving sooner

If Jack had no choice or for some reason chose to evolve into a blue goblin by himself how many powerful monster would it take for him to kill before he evolved? 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 or more?

The answer was Jack did not know...

And because Jack did not know, he was not about to go on a wild monster chase too find out when a better method was available.

Compared to how long it would take to having a hundred goblins hunt a hundred monsters and be killed by Jack with minimum risk and effort in a much quicker rate.

Over Jack risking his life every time for G.o.d knows how many times in what could take the span of weeks, months, years, decades or even, centuries.

The ladder was the clearly the better option for evolving into a Blue Goblin.

Jack came to this conclusion after going over Gyrom's memories of him killing a countless number of creatures and monsters to evolve and grow stronger over the span of a century and yet not achieve any results.

There is strength in numbers especially in meat s.h.i.+elds who will make it easier for me to gain power when they are used to wear down and capture enemies for me to kill during hunts.

As an individual becoming a leader of many was the equivalent of carrying the strength of many in your hands.

It would make life for me not only easier but fill it with more opportunities.

I could realistically change the world around me as the leader of a large force rather then just being a strong singular person who could be swarmed and killed by a larger force at the mercy of others.

After All no one man can fight and end wars on himself or at least as far as i know going off the logic of my old world.

This world is so strange and fantastical perhaps there are beings who could defeat entire armies and conquer nationwide disputes.

Beings like G.o.ds who could have the power to shape or change the world around them according to there own will and might.

If such beings really do exist then the obvious thing to do would be to become one...

I shook my head at the thought I will have to cross that bridge when I get there if beings like that really do exist.

Even with all my current strength and skills If I were to fight another Blue Demon Bear or some other super predator like the Carnivorous Unicorn.

In combat I would still be mauled and crushed to death by the Blue Bear or disintegrated by a magical laser beam from the Carnivorous Unicorn or be impaled by its horn.

I would lose unless I had some bulls.h.i.+t main protagonist op world breaking power like plot armor or G.o.dly abilities that I wished for by meeting G.o.d after death. or some bulls.h.i.+t like that.

But if I had an army of meat s.h.i.+elds and soldiers then killing a Blue Bear or Carnivorous Unicorn would be possible even for a group of mere Green Goblins if they attacked together in large numbers with a strategy.

My encounter with the Blue Bear was just dumb luck, a miracle, a once in a million chance relying on luck and just hoping for the best was not going to cut it anymore against the Elder Goblins.

(What Jack Had not realized was that his victory over the Blue Bear was not won entirely on just dumb luck. )

(Plum had a.s.sisted him by using her wind magic to guide Jack's world cla.s.s pitch into the already lodged eyeball to kill the Blue Demon Bear.)

Jack had the ability to finally question his situation without the interference of Plum manipulating his mind or warping his memories.

The first thing that caught Jack's attention and probably the most glaring phenomena that he ignored was the weird Blue Screen that popped out to help or explain things to him.

The Blue Screen was a blessing from the mysterious G.o.ddess the same being who Jack unknowingly worked for.

She was the same being who brought him into this new world and a.s.signed Plum to watch over him under the disguise of his imaginary friend Chuck.

Jack often wondered what exactly the Blue Screen was and where it came from he had no control over it, but his mind would be warped by Plum every time he did until now.

Even if Jack wanted the Blue Screen to appear it would not.

Jack tried using voice command now that he could speak a language other than his incoherent grunts but as expected no such luck.

Jack felt annoyed that he could not use it upon command he tried waving his arms but to no avail, he figured there must be some way to make it work manually.

The Blue Screen had a habit of coming to him out of convenience and would leave just as quickly as it showed up leaving Jack no time to mess around with it or figure out the mechanics behind it.

Jack could not interact with the Blue Screen beyond its intended convenience it would either disappear on its own or give Jack the option to close the screen.

(The Blue Screen was not a magic tool or form of spell controlled by the G.o.ddess or Plum.)

(But instead the creation of the G.o.ddess born from her blessing it was a living creature!)

(The creature was symbiotic and parasitic in nature as it became attached to Jack.)

(Sticking to him down to the molecular and spiritual level.)

(The creature was the first of its kind the Blue Screen had no name or will of its own it was created during Jacks rebirth into a goblin.)

(The G.o.ddess placed it on Jack while he was still in his Goblin Mothers womb letting it fuse with him and become a permanent part of his very being.)

(The G.o.ddess nor her loyal Dark Fairy Plum were able to directly control the Blue Screen Symbiote this was something that had gone beyond there speculation of the pairing.)

(It troubled the G.o.ddess and Dark Fairy until Plum discovered a loophole through the Blue Screen Symbiote via Jack in her mental manipulation of him to influence a desired outcome.)

(No mortal creature could handle becoming a vessel of the G.o.ddess naturally and so Jack had become a sort of lab rat to them when testing the Blue Screen Symbiote.)

(When Jack successfully merged with the Blue Screen Symbiote during his rebirth he had become a suitable vessel for the G.o.ddess.)

(If Jack had failed to merge with the Blue Screen Symbiote during his rebirth his soul would have self detonated causing an explosion of magic and soul energy inside the Goblin womb destroying everything in the near vicinity.)

(The G.o.ddess would have simply searched for another potential vessel, Jack was not the first lab rat or attempted vessel to be created.)

(But was the first mortal to successfully merge with the Blue Screen Symbiote.)

(The reason the Blue Screen Symbiote as a living creature could not develop a mind of its own and become independent from Jack and coexist with him.)

(Was because the blessing had only bestowed it with magic and wisdom and had sealed away its ability to have a mental capacity to think on its own.)

(The G.o.ddess when creating the Symbiote did not deem it necessary to allow such a creature to become self aware so it was sealed.)

(The seal on the Blue Screen Creature could not be broken until Jack had either died but it would die along with him or the spell was broken by Jack himself.)

(A very unlikely event since Jack would have to learn the spell from the G.o.ddess herself or another equally powerful and endowed magical being such as herself. )

Jack put aside his thoughts of the Blue Screen for now, his subjects were patiently awaiting to meet there new Elder just behind these blood stained red drapes.

First impressions were always the most important although Jack already made his, that was before he had consumed Gyrom's brain.

And now he had a better understanding of the pivotal moment that was about to take place.

He was going to make his debut to the entire first floor and if he could make a stronger impression and establish his credibility it would overwrite any doubts about him that he accidently created with the Goblin Warriors yesterday.

And be a step closer to creating an independent force to branch out of the Tribe perhaps he could even become another Blue Goblin King and start another Goblin Kingdom when he evolved.

Jack needed loyal and hard working underlings that were feared and respected to be apart of his ranks.

Since they would be the foundation and pillars of his domain and reach within the tribe and maybe to the whole world one day.

If Jack was going to become the strongest he would have to start here by making the Floor Level Great Again!

Jack thought about building a wall by the cave entrance and making all the lower floor level goblins pay for it by enforcing a mandatory labor charge for pa.s.sing though.

.

Maybe he could create a labor tax and force them into building the entire wall for him over just charging them.

If they refused the labor work Jack would increase the charge drastically to pa.s.s through and haggle them into building it,

Jack planned to not only charge Green goblns but every goblin who pa.s.sed though the main entrance and would lift the tax from his subjects.

He would boost moral and encourage his followers to be more appreciative of him but this decision would obviously come with consequences.

A confrontation or clash of power between himself and other Elders was practically guaranteed as they would try to suppress him from growing his domain and reach within the tribe.

Jack: "( If they wanted to cuck me like they cucked Gyrom, well they sure as s.h.i.+t have another thing coming! )"

Although Jack was not fearful of the Elders like Gyrom.

He was not foolish enough to provoke the other Elders all at once out in public and have the entire tribe turn against him.

Even if Jack was strong enough to kill an Elder and invade there floor level he could not just simply go up to one and kill it for its brain.

Without the entire Tribe turning against him if he started to invade and create a civil war from within the tribe floor levels.

Disputes and compet.i.tion among the Elders although destructive at times were never so serious that another Elder would die in the process.

How else would a weakling Elder Goblin like Gyrom survive this long if they were forbidden from killing eachother during they're suppression.

Goblin society within this tribe functioned as a collective Pyramid scheme with the Chieftain on top and rhe female green goblins at the bottom who were treated as baby factories.

Goblin society was incredibly s.e.xist and the reason most goblin females were at the bottom was because all the runts and useless goblins would be weeded out during the initiation period or goblin combat trials before being introduced into the caves.

They're were no leeches except for the young and elderly of the tribe every goblin had a task even on the first floor which took the job of holding and watching over the imitation period.

Other than that every goblin hunted and all the female goblins of the first floor were used as baby factory c.u.m buckets with the exception being Gyra the only Female Goblin Warrior on the first floor.

The Elderly of the first floor level were supported by the younger generations or simply died off when they're decedent's stopped caring for them.

Most of the Elder population died off from being left for dead during the wolf and insect raids of the first floor as it was every man for themselves only a handful remained.

Most every Goblin including the Chieftain and Elder Goblins were dedicated and loyal to the Tribe as a whole and would willingly make sacrifices to benefit the Tribe.

The tribe in itself was a symbol to the Goblins a mark of pride to honor there race which had fallen from grace many years ago with the fall of the last Goblin Kingdom.

With each tribe claiming to be descended from the Blue Goblin King or great Warrior Goblins of the last era of Goblin rule over the Dark Forest.

The system of government within the Tribe would brainwash and conform the goblins into being loyal and self sacrificing for the collective Tribe .

This helped a race as evil and vile like goblins to survive and prosper in there new environment with a working society.

But like many societies even from Jack's old world none were perfect or stuck to there ideals there would always be some manner of corruption or abnormality within them if you looked hard enough.

For instance Gyrom and the entire first floor although they were a part of the same Tribe as the other goblins from the lower levels they were not treated as such for varying reason.

Jack needed a way to justify his actions to the Tribe to kill another Elder Goblin at the moment he could not think of anything.

He needed to gather more information first before he could start plotting the a.s.sa.s.sination of an Elder Goblin.

Since Gyrom was limited by his rank and status in the tribe and was lacking in information regarding the other Elder Goblins in crucial areas.

An alternative would be if Jack broke the rules and got away with it without getting caught but it was easier said than done.

Jack would retaliate the suppression of the other Elders with extreme vigilance of course but all the retaliation in the world would be meaningless to him if he could not grow stronger from it.

Jack needed to kill them to get stronger that much was certain but his position in the Tribe was more important to him for now.

Until he could either grow strong enough to be a lone force or create a strong backing that was independent from the tribe Jack had to play along by the rules and follow Tribe Law.

In a culture and society that looked down on individual independence and freedom, Jack planned to create his own independent force from such a place.

Jack smiled as he was coming up with an idea to do it.
