Thus, Chen Minhao decided to have lunch with Zhou Mingrui during noon everyday, as he was going to spend the next few months together with Tong Ruize partic.i.p.ating in Produce 101.

He wanted to bear in mind Zhou Mingrui's situation and always remind himself that for the sake rising to stardom, Tong Ruize was willing to do anything for his career.

He must always keep this in mind so as not to end up like Zhou Mingrui if he's not careful.

In order to avoid triggering Zhou Mingrui, during their lunch everyday, Chen Minhao deliberately avoid mentioning his training in front of him.

To be honest, he fully understood the reason why Kang Hui withheld the matter relating to《China Got Talent》from Zhou Mingrui. Admittedly, he felt the “stick and carrot” approach would indeed motivate Zhou Mingrui more.

In the practice room, Gao Dao suddenly came close to his side while there were only the two of them. He suppressed his voice and asked, “Chen Minhao, do you still want to be the leader?”

Chen Minhao hesistated for a while, but ultimately, he nodded his head.

Gao Dao questioned with knitted eyebrows. “Is there anything you are unhappy about him being the leader?”

Chen wanted to step away from him, but he suppressed his emotion and gave a perfunctory answer. “As a human, one should always have ambitions, and one of my ambition is to be a leader. This has nothing to do with my evaluation of him.”

Gao Dao thoroughly explained himself. “Think about it this way, Tong Ruize has debuted before, if he is not the team leader in the boy group, while you are the leader instead, there's a possibility that his fans will smear you. I did what I did for your own good.”

Chen Minhao nodded and said, “thank you so much, I understand now, I will think about what you'd said.”

As he thought about how to change the topic, Wu Xiaoshuang called him on the phone and said, “Sis Kang will be back tomorrow afternoon.”
