Way To The Heavens 10 Yellow Soul Jewels?!

"Twenty-six, twenty-seven, twenty-eight. We are missing two students! Does anyone know who is missing?" Li Yun counted all of the kids three times and every time she came up two kids short.

"Teacher! w.a.n.g Wei and Long Yue are missing." It was Lee Zheng who called out. He was worried because it was already dark and he still didn't see them.

"Yeah, where are they? They couldn't have been killed right? No of course not we're talking about w.a.n.g Wei and Long Yue they wouldn't be killed by some soul beasts. But they travelled alone what is the travelled to deep and encountered a soul beast that even those two couldn't defeat." And just like that everyone was shouting and screaming and in panic.

"Hey! Why is everyone shouting did something happen?" Someone called out from the forest.

Everyone turned their heads to the mysterious voice. Right then two silhouettes walked out of the trees and towards the group. When they came closer someone called out. "It's w.a.n.g Wei and Long Yue. I told you they wouldn't die!"

"Whoah, someone said that we could've died. Who do you think we are? If we work together not a single soul beast could stop us." Long Yue said while w.a.n.g Wei had a satisfied look on his face.

"Okay, okay. Enough with the bragging, I need you to tell me what colour soul jewels you have for registration purpose." It was Li Yun who said this. "If you want you can even demonstrate the soul technique you have learned."

"Okay, I'll go first" It was Long Yue who stepped forward. "Teacher Zhou Feng will you please help me demonstrate? My soul technique is an attack technique and since you specialize in defence I hope you could help me bring out its full potential." He said.

"Okay, why not." Zhou Feng said.

"You might want to use a soul technique or use your soul form." Long Yue said.

After Long Yue said that a solid yellow soul jewel manifested on his hand and started to glow all the students then shouted in surprise "Yellow soul jewel?!" He then slashed the air and five streaks of red fire flew towards Zhou Feng. Zhou Feng was surprised and used his third soul technique water sh.e.l.l. His soul form was the water tortoise so he could block it easily but he still needed to seriously use it in order to render Long Yue' attack useless.

"How's that?" Long Yue said.

"Very impressive Long Yue, I needed to focus to block that attack." Zhou Feng said.

"Teacher you are giving me to much praise you are a soul brawler with five soul rings. You could've easily stopped my attack." Long Yue replied but Zhou Feng then told him that for his first soul technique Long Yue had a powerful technique. Next, it was the turn to w.a.n.g Wei.

"Do you think he also has a thousand-year-old soul jewel? What? Of course not. You know how difficult those are to get only Long Yue would be able to kill a thousand-year-old soul beast." This kind of conversations went through the crowd.

"Teacher Li Yun. Could you help me demonstrate the soul technique I acquired? I got a controlling soul jewel so I can't really demonstrate on my own." w.a.n.g Wei said as he stepped forward.

"Sure I'll help you. What do you need me to do?" Li Yun asked.

"I need you to release you nine-tailed firefox and attack me." w.a.n.g Wei said calmly.

"What?! Attack? But teacher Li Yun is a soul warrior she has six soul jewels she'll probably kill him if she would hit him with all her strength." Again the crowd started talking amongst themselves.

"Okay, if that is what you want, prepare yourself." Li Yun said.

The next moment a transparent yellow soul ring could be seen on w.a.n.g Wei' it hand wasn't solid yellow but it wasn't really light yellow you could still see that it was yellow but it was lighter than Long Yue' soul jewel. "What!!" everyone cried out.

The next moment Li Yun pounced toward w.a.n.g Wei ready to strike but then suddenly w.a.n.g Wei' pupils turned into lightning symbols and his eyes turned yellow the next moment Li Yun was paralyzed, w.a.n.g Wei, a chi apprentice paralyzed a soul warrior. The paralysis lasted for a whole second before Li Yun could move again. After that w.a.n.g Wei' eyes turned normal.

"You were able to paralyze me for an entire second what soul beast did you kill?" Li Yun asked in astonishment.

"A five-thousand-year-old thunderstrike snake." w.a.n.g Wei calmly answered.

"Huh!!! A five-thousand-year-old thunderstrike snake!" Everyone even the teachers yelled.

"Yeah, I couldn't have done it without Long Yue. In total, we took down two, thousand-year-old crimson lions and one five-thousand-year-old thunderstrike snake." He said.

"I was right to choose you two for the compet.i.tion. I have high hopes for you." Li Yun said.

"Thank you, teacher." w.a.n.g Wei and Long Yue said.

After everyone calmed down they returned home on the way home w.a.n.g Wei had another conversation with Lee Zheng.

"So you have a five-thousand-year-old soul jewel. That is so cool! What do you call your soul technique?" Lee Zheng asked w.a.n.g Wei. "My soul technique is called paralysis eyes and Long Yue' soul technique is called crimson slash. Even though I have an older soul jewel we are still equal to each other in terms of strength. By the way what soul jewel did you get?"

Lee Zheng held out his hand and a transparent orange soul jewel manifested it was a very faint orange glow. "My soul jewel is from a nine-hundred-year-old flying tiger. I have the snow white eagle soul form. The soul technique I got is called wing slash it gives my wing feathers a sharp edge and when I slash it a blade sharp streak of air forms and flies towards my opponent I can also use it to directly attack my opponent with my wings it is really helpful in both long distance and close combat battles. Also because I have the snow white eagle soul form I can fly for now I can only fly for ten minutes but if I am able to cultivate high enough I could fly all day long if I wanted. Hehe"

"Wow, a transparent orange soul jewel you must be close to the spirit country level." w.a.n.g Wei said.

"Yeah I'm pretty close I think I could've integrated with a thousand-year-old soul jewel but that would be too wasteful I had a perfect soul jewel for me ready so I integrated with it. By the way, you said you had a five-thousand-year-old soul jewel that isn't possible right?"

"Normally no. But while I was in the valley I broke through to the spirit country level that's why."
