Way To The Heavens 28 Jade Academy

It was in the evening and dinnertime just pa.s.sed. As two figures stood before the door to a hotel. The two figures walked in and asked for some directions. They then went up the stairs and halted before one of the doors.

"Knock, knock, knock."

"Coming" Was heard from inside the room.

A small eleven-year-old boy opened the door for the two people.

"Senior!" the boy said. It was w.a.n.g Wei who opened the door.

"h.e.l.lo w.a.n.g Wei. Is everyone here?" The senior asked.

"Yeah, everyone including teacher Li Yun." w.a.n.g Wei answered.

"May we come in if that is the case then?" the woman beside the man asked.

"Yes, of course." w.a.n.g Wei said.

When the duo walked in Li Yun was very shocked.

"Teacher! What are you doing here?" She said.

"Teacher?" w.a.n.g Wei said.

"Yes, let me introduce myself." The woman said. "My name is Wen Xin I have the bloodthirst civet soul form. I am a level ninety-six heavenly G.o.d. The man you have been addressing as senior is Shen Teng you already know he is a heavenly G.o.d right?"

"Wow, you are amazing!" Long Yue said. "But that still doesn't explain the teacher part. Even though you are TWO heavenly G.o.ds in this small town even though there are only like sixty heavenly G.o.ds I still can't figure out why our teacher called you her teacher."

"Well, that is because little Yun graduated from jade academy." Shen Teng said.

"What!" Lee Zheng said.

"It's true. I could've stayed here but I decided to go teach in my home town. I even got offers from glory academy but I couldn't leave my home town behind. That is why the school has a few powerful teachers. They all followed me in search of talent in the less fortunate parts of the continent." Li Yun said.

"Yes, that is why we also asked w.a.n.g Wei to bring you. We want you to come back to the academy and teach the kids that will come to our academy next year which hopefully will also be these three." Shen Teng

"Really? I mean I have thought about going back to the academy but I never had a reason to. There are so many experts there. Why would you want me to train these kids?" Li Yun said.

"Because glory academy has been s.n.a.t.c.hing our students from us and our teachers they only managed to get the soul warrior teachers the soul king teacher is still there so, for now, it is just us there. The soul king, me and Shen Teng." Wen Xin said.

"We want to have your students and you join us at the academy. They won't have to take any entrance exams since they won this compet.i.tion." Shen Teng said.

"Are you sure that would be okay? There will be kids that will say that it's unfair." Li Yun said.

"Well, if that will happen we just have to show them why we got in without any entrance exams right?" w.a.n.g Wei said.

"Yeah!" Long Yue and Lee Zheng said.

After discussing for a long time it was already late in the night and the boys were tired. When the seniors from jade academy left they immediately went to sleep as they had a long journey the next day back home.

The three people from victory village left early in the morning and didn't take any breaks during the journey. They just wanted to be home as soon as possible.

They arrived at the rice fields that were on the outskirts of victory village in the afternoon.

"We are finally home." Long Yue said.

The first to get dropped of was Lee Zheng as he was the one who lived closest to dusksh.o.r.e city. A little while later both Long Yue and Li Yun got off as they lived in the center of the town. Right now it was only w.a.n.g Wei in the carriage. w.a.n.g Wei' red fire-dragon family had a small piece of land that was pretty run down. There was only one nice house. That was the family hall. The family didn't have much soul experts or wealth so there wasn't really a reason to have a family hall as they didn't have anything to discuss but they kept it as it was something left behind by the first patriarch of the family.

Eventually, w.a.n.g Wei arrived at the land owned by the family. It wasn't that big but they did have a small forest that they owned. They didn't cut it down as it was a place where they collected fruit from the trees but other than that they didn't have that much land. w.a.n.g Wei directly walked toward the family hall to greet the elders of the family.

"Greetings elders, I have returned."

"Ah if it isn't w.a.n.g Wei." The patriarch said with a proud face.

"Greetings patriarch w.a.n.g Longwei." w.a.n.g Wei said while he bowed down.

"Tell us how the tournament went." w.a.n.g Longwei said.

"I placed first in the trio compet.i.tion with my friends." w.a.n.g Wei said.

"That is great. I heard you get a good reward for that." w.a.n.g Shen the second elder said.

"I'm sorry but I am not done." w.a.n.g Wei said. "I also placed first in the duo tournament. And most amazing of all I placed first in the solo compet.i.tion."

"w.a.n.g Wei, are you gonna keep that money yourself or do you intend to help the family?" The patriarch asked.

"I am planning to keep a small amount but donate almost all of it to the family." w.a.n.g Wei said.

The entire family hall was in high spirits. This was more than enough money to supply the family for another two years.

"I also broke through to the chi fighter rank. Next, to that I also have a snow white eagle soul egg which we can sell." w.a.n.g Wei announced.

"Everyone prepare a big feast tonight for the little boy which contributed more to the family than anyone has done in the past years." The patriarch said.
