Way To The Heavens 31 Rematch

As everyone was getting ready for the fight Long Yue, w.a.n.g Wei and Lee Zheng were casually chatting.

"We could really use this opportunity to improve our fighting skills." w.a.n.g Wei said.

"Yeah, I think I could use this opportunity to improve my coördination with both of you. Even though we already have a pretty good coördination." Lee Zheng said. "I also really want to try using my new soul technique."

"Yeah, what is your new soul technique?" Long Yue asked.

"You'll find out in a few minutes." Lee Zheng replied with a smile on his face.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the arena, the challengers were not so cheerful they all had a very serious look on their face.

"What do we do if we don't win this?" Xiao Dai asked Lei Huo.

"We will have to live in shame for the rest of our lives. To challenge the same opponents twice and lose twice. That would be the most shameful moment in a person's life." Lei Huo said.

"Yeah, but there is no way my lovely Lei Huo will lose right?" Zhao Wei said.

Zhao Wei and Lei Huo were a couple now. In the time they were training they got closer and closer. In victory village, they are known as a power couple. Literally, they defeated all other opponents in town. Xiao Dai is their best friend and supports them no matter what decision they make.

"Everyone get ready!" Teacher Li Yun said. She was also invited to the feast. Seen as she is a soul warrior she could easily stop the battle if someone's life was in danger. The patriarchs were also strong enough but they didn't trust the opposite side so that is why they let teacher Li Yun be the referee this match.

"Children get ready." She said.

The six, twelve-year-olds all released their soul forms.

In Xiao Dai' hand, a pitch black sword took shape on his hands, two soul jewels were visible. One brown and one blue. He could not integrate with holy soul jewels because of his soul form. That is why he had unholy soul jewels.

Zhao Wei slowly turned into a humanoid rabbit as two jade green ears started growing on her head and a fluffy jade green tail formed on her lower back. On her hand, you could also see two soul jewels. One red and one orange.

However, the most impressive one was Lei Huo. Electricity crackled all around his body and he turned into a humanoid tiger with electricity crackling all around him. He also had two soul jewels but his were two orange soul jewels.

"How do you like that? I am the most powerful out of us three. Even if you are able to defeat the other two there is no way you can beat me." Lei Huo said with an evil grin on his face.

"Don't show your soul jewels." w.a.n.g Wei said. "Only use them if you have no other choice."

"Okay." Long Yue replied.

"But if that is the case then I can't show off my second soul technique." Lee Zheng said.

"I'm sorry. But I want to annihilate them so bad that they will never dare to challenge our families." w.a.n.g Wei said. "If It is that important to you then after this you two can have a two on one fight with me and you can show you second soul technique. Okay?"

"Okay." Lee Zheng said.

The did release their soul forms but they didn't show their soul jewels. Lee Zheng now had snow white wings on his back and his feather sword. Long Yue had his holy claws out. On both his hands and his feet which would grant him enormous speed. w.a.n.g Wei now had his snake claws out and he had summoned his defensive scales.

"Hmpf, what fools. To respond to our challenge while being like this. They underestimate us too much." The patriarch of the sacred moon family said.

"But doesn't it show us that we need to be careful as well? I mean they even have individual skills. We don't have those. We are all soul brawlers but the rest of the people in our families peak at chi master." The patriarch of the jade family said.

"Yeah, these kids that we have sent out there are the only ones with the potential to be great. They already are chi fighters. Even though soul experts are not that common and even powerhouses as us patriarchs are rare to find the world of soul experts is full of chi fighters." The patriarch of the void family said.

"It's okay our three families combine our powers our victory village will be a power to be reckoned with. Especially since there are a few powerhouses here. The only reason we are settled here is because of the individual strength of our families aren't that strong. The three we send out will most definitely achieve victory for our families. If they do that we can destroy the red fire-dragon family and we can strip away some power of the other families." The patriarch the sacred moon family said. "The stakes are high but if we win we will reign over this town. Seen as each of the contestants can request something from each family we can strengthen our families while weakening them."

As this was going on the patriarchs of the other families were still happily drinking.

"Begin!" Li Yun said.

When the beginning was announced Lei Huo pounced toward w.a.n.g Wei and swung at him with his claws. Zhao Wei sped toward Long Yue and Xiao Dai pounced toward Lee Zheng. They each were matched up with the person who is their best match in a battle. w.a.n.g Wei blocked Lei Huo' attack by relying on his defensive scales. He just stood there not moving in the slightest. Xiao Dai swung his void sword at Lee Zheng, who used his feather sword to deflect the attack. Zhao Wei kicked towards Long Yue' head, who dodged the attack.

"So you're at least that powerful." Lei Huo said. "See the thing is. In our last battle, we couldn't really use our soul techniques because you took us by surprise. This time is different!"

As he said that the first soul jewels on their hands all lit up.
