Way To The Heavens 34 Arrival In Jade City

After traveling for a few days the three boys finally arrived in jade city. It was not that big of a city. They got their instructions from Li Yun who would be there to welcome them to jade academy. The academy lay outside the city so the boys still had to cross the city.

On their way through the city, they saw a lot of different shops and stands selling different things.

"Now and only now! We have an exclusive egg from the gla.s.s dimension. A one-thousand-year-old gla.s.s spider." A salesman said.

"Wow, a thousand-year-old gla.s.s spider. You don't see that often." Lee Zheng said.

"Yeah, but when are you going to use it?" w.a.n.g Wei said. "It is best to let the people who have some use for it get it themselves."

"Are you sure you don't want it?" Long Yue said. "Your family still doesn't have a guardian beast."

"No, we don't. However, I promised my patriarch that one day I would travel to the dragon realm dimension and bring back a red fire-dragon egg. That way our family would be back on top like it was thousands of years ago." w.a.n.g Wei said.

"My lord. The seal is almost broken we can send through some weak soldiers but we still need a few more decades to entirely break the seal." A dark figure said.

Then a dark figure on a blood red throne spoke.

"That is great. The red fire-dragon family thought that they could seal us away forever. What they didn't know was that even though they sacrificed a lot of their soul experts to seal us we would break the seal one of these days. Hahaha."

"If you say so." Long Yue said. "How are you going to find the entrance to the dragon realm dimension anyway? It is said to be somewhere on a floating island which only flying type soul experts could find if they even had a little connection to dragons."

"I will find it. I am a direct descendant of the red fire-dragon family. I will find a way." w.a.n.g Wei said.

"Okay, let's go and head for the academy if we leave now we could reach it before noon." Lee Zheng said.

"Okay, let's go then." w.a.n.g Wei said.

And so the three started traveling again and they reached the academy before noon.

When they arrived there was a large line waiting to be tested by a teacher.

"Next!"

"It's my turn." A little boy said very excited to be tested.

"Rank eighteen soul energy. Butcher knife soul form. Sorry, you are not allowed" the teacher said.

The parent of the child was furious.

"Rank eighteen is considered a genius. Glory academy would gladly accept my son. The others there have higher social status but my boy is still on the same level in the cultivation world." The father said.

"I don't care if this boy is considered a genius. We only accept talents that come once in a few millennia, the students we accept here would even qualify as monsters."

This moment the three boys walked towards the teacher.

"I am sorry to interrupt." w.a.n.g Wei said.

"What do you want?" The teacher asked.

In response, w.a.n.g Wei, Lee Zheng, and Long Yue each showed two tokens. One of the tokens represented each of their respective families and the other token was the token which represented jade academy.

"Alright, I understand. Please move on." The teacher said.

"What!? This is outrageous!" The father said angrily. "How come they can enter the academy while my son can't what family are they from to pressure you."

"I am sorry sir but they each have the token of our jade academy which lets them enter without examinations." The teacher said.

"I don't care. I want to know what family they're from. There is no way that they could be more powerful than my son." The father said.

"I am sorry sir we can't tell you that." The teacher said.

"It's okay teacher." w.a.n.g Wei said. "I am w.a.n.g Wei. I am a descendant of the red fire-dragon family. I come from victory city. I am sure you have heard of them."

"Yeah of course. The snow-white eagle family, red fire-dragon family and holy leopard family all grew really fast when three young chi fighters won a bet with opposing families. But those three youngsters are very powerful. There's no way that they would be here." The man said.

"You are wrong." w.a.n.g Wei said. He then showed his token from the red fire-dragon family. Long Yue and Lee Zheng did the same with their own respective token.

"Those could be fake. How do I know for sure that you are really descendants of those families?" The man said.

"If you want I could spar with your son. One on one." w.a.n.g Wei said.

"That is something I can agree too. If my son wins he gets your spot in the academy." The man said.

"Okay, if I win I get to request one thing from your family patriarch." w.a.n.g Wei said.

"That would be me." The man said. "I am the patriarch of the azure leaf family."

"Okay, it's a deal." w.a.n.g Wei said.

As the boy got ready and revealed his soul jewel. It was a three-hundred-year holy soul jewel. But w.a.n.g Wei didn't reveal his soul jewels he only summoned his snake claws and defensive scales.

"Individual techniques?!" everyone present cried out.

"It's okay son just because he has an individual technique doesn't mean you can't beat him." The patriarch of the azure leaf family.

The boy' soul jewel then lit up and his butcher knife started to glow blue and then slashed. A blue slash headed for w.a.n.g Wei who just stood there not moving even a millimeter. He only raised his arms and let the slash hit his defensive scales. He then pounced towards the boy and kicked him in the gut. The boy flew backward for ten meters.

"That was a fluke." The patriarch said.

"I won. I can now make one request. For what that is I still need to think about it and gather information about your family." w.a.n.g Wei said.

"No! I demand a rematch." The patriarch roared.

"He will never win." w.a.n.g Wei said as he revealed his soul jewels.

"Two yellow soul jewels!?" everyone cried out.

"I am the famous chi fighter of the red fire-dragon family w.a.n.g Wei. With me are Long Yue from the holy leopard family and Lee Zheng from the snow-white eagle family. Together we form the golden trio. Make sure you spread our names and those of our famillies. Come visit us or join our families. They reside in victory city." w.a.n.g Wei said.

After that he walked through the gates of the academy.
