Way To The Heavens 39 Class Representatives.

The second day of school started and w.a.n.g Wei still wasn't back. Because of this teacher Li Yun decided to just follow the usual schedule and give a big announcement.

"Alright everyone sit down, I have a big announcement to make." Li Yun said as she walked into the cla.s.sroom.

All the kids walked toward their seats and sat down. The only ones who were silent the entire time before Li Yun walked in were Long Yue and Lee Zheng because they were worried about w.a.n.g Wei. When they tried to visit w.a.n.g Wei by contacting the vice-principle they were told to go back to their dorm.

"This afternoon there will be a tournament in our little cla.s.s to decide the cla.s.s representatives. The top three will each become a representative. The number one will become the cla.s.s president, and there will be two vice-presidents. The person who came in second will be in charge when the cla.s.s president is absent and the number three will be in charge if those two are absent. However, this compet.i.tion is not definite. One can challenge the cla.s.s representatives for their position. If you are a cla.s.s representative you have the respect of your peers and you have a good chance at becoming a disciple of one of the teachers here. Becoming a disciple means inheriting a legacy. Each teacher has something different to offer. They will help you to the best of your abilities. So work hard for one of the representative spots." Li Yun said.

'It has been two days and he still hasn't woken up. This must be a sign of greatness or it is a sign that he will fail.' Shen Teng thought to himself.

w.a.n.g Wei was awake but only in his spiritual world.

'I wonder when the pressure will disappear he thought.' As he thought that the pressure started to become less. The look on w.a.n.g Wei' face showed that he was relieved but that changed drastically the next moment.

"AAAAH!" He screamed out in agony.

The pressure was gone but in its place came the feeling of being burned alive, drowning and being crushed by everything in existence. But unlike last time he didn't pa.s.s out. It was as if his body wouldn't allow him.

On the outside, w.a.n.g Wei' body started glowing with a bright white light.

"So the divine punishment begins." Wen Xin says to Shen Teng.

"Yes. Everything will be decided on what happens next." Shen Teng replied.

After cla.s.ses, all the kids were fighting for a representative spot.

Everyone was doing their best and were being serious. Except for Long Yue and Lee Zheng. They only used martial arts up until now to defeat their opponents. The only thing that was on their mind was w.a.n.g Wei' safety. But that did not stop them from wanting to be a representative. Because they knew that once they got back that w.a.n.g Wei would want a spot. And if they already had two spots then they could all three become the representatives.

They made it all the way to the semi-finals. By this time it was already late and almost past dinnertime.

Long Yue had to fight with Ye Xinghe who possessed the star sword soul form. He simply beat him so that he could fight in the finals. Lee Zheng had to fight with Chen Li but forfeited and had to battle for third place. He then fought with Ye Xinghe and they had a battle of swords as Lee Zheng used his individual skill. He defeated Ye Xinghe. Long Yue forfeited the match with Chen Li and became the second representative.

The cla.s.s president was Chen Li and the two vice-presidents were Long Yue and Lee Zheng.

As Chen Li won he got to give a speech.

"I am the strongest in this cla.s.s. The only reason Long Yue gave up was that he already knew that he couldn't win against me. You may all think to yourself. 'What but he was defeated by w.a.n.g Wei on the first day?' and that is correct but I underestimated him and I had been on an overnight trip on which I didn't get enough sleep. That is the reason I lost. Otherwise, I wouldn't have lost to w.a.n.g Wei. And my t.i.tle as cla.s.s president proves it." He said with a smug face.

When Long Yue and Lee Zheng got back to their room they were silent.

Lee Zheng was the one to break the silence.

"Are you sure we did the right thing. Don't you think it would have been better if one of us was cla.s.s president?"

"No. Let him sit on his high horse for a little bit. When w.a.n.g Wei comes back he will most definitely challenge him for the position of cla.s.s president." Long Yue said.

While they were in their dorm room Chen Li had taken everyone out to celebrate but everyone could not really celebrate as they knew that the strongest person did not partic.i.p.ate today.

It was deep in the night when the light on w.a.n.g Wei' body finally died down. After that Shen Teng was waiting anxiously. Wen Xin and Li Yun joined his side. After a few minutes, w.a.n.g Wei opened his eyes. He saw that he lay in the same meadow where he fell to the floor.

"Teacher, how much time has gone by?" He asked.

"It has been two whole days." Shen Teng said. "How do you feel?"

"I feel amazing. It feels like I have been born again. My soul energy level also elevated I am now a level twenty-four chi fighter." w.a.n.g Wei said very excitedly.

"Could you tell me what your soul form is now. You come from a dragon family but you had a snake soul form. Your soul form could have evolved into a dragon or a greater snake. I am very curious as to which side it went." Shen Teng said.

w.a.n.g Wei then told the three people that were next to him about his experience and new soul form.

"I see." Wen Xin said.

"I think that this soul form fits you perfectly." Li Yun said. "I have to tell you that Chen Li is cla.s.s president but you can challenge him for that position if you're up for it."

"I will. Can you please tell him I want to challenge him now." w.a.n.g Wei said.

"You can't challenge him directly you need to wait a few hours to adapt to your new soul form." Shen Teng then said.

"Okay then tell him I want to challenge him after school. I will train in the morning with my teacher and then in the afternoon I will challenge him." w.a.n.g Wei said.

"Okay but that will be your third absence people might not accept it." Li Yun said.

"They will when they see my newfound power."
