With their fingers intertwine together, Jun Ting and Qin Yang took their time to walk down from the rooftop. Since they are the only ones left within the school compound, the silence was very comforting. Giggles could be heard through the school halls as Qin Yang laughs at Jun Ting's light jokes.

" Remember the time we found out that Miss Jane and Mr. Wan were dating when we were walking around behind the school building." Jun Ting points at the west building, Qin Yang nods and laughs " They were so embarra.s.sed when they were caught."

Jun Ting tucks a few strands of hair behind "They even promise to give us good grades to keep a secret."

" I wonder what happened to them? " she hums and starts skipping towards the entrance gate, pulling Jun Ting along.

" They broke up. Mr. Wan wasn't serious about the relations.h.i.+p, he wanted to know what it was like to date a foreigner plus he was engaged that time to another woman." Jun Ting fastens his pace to catch up with her.

Qin Yang halt her steps in shock " Eh? He didn't look that way to me because he looked really serious about it. What a jerk." and shakes her head in disappointment. Jun Ting just shrugs it off, and pull her this time " There is one more place to go I want to bring you."

Without any complaints, she follows wherever he would go. Jun Ting pulls the brakes and helps unbuckle Qin Yang's seatbelt "We are here."

Qin Yang looks outside the car window and a smile creeps on her lips, Jun Ting opens the door for her " Let's have an after school date."

" Wow... This place changed so much!" she looks around the hawker street, Jun Ting and Qin Yang used to come here to relieve their exams stress, the hawkers were really kind and always gave them encouraging words.

" I invested some money to this place" Jun Ting place his hand in his pocket. The hawkers used to set up their stall early in the morning with just a table and an umbrella over their heads, now they have their own small building units.

A warm voice from behind calls out to them " Oh my... President Lee, you are here."

The couple turns around and greets the old woman politely, Jun Ting grab the heavy bag of fruits from the old woman's hand " Granny Mei, please call me like before."

The old woman waves her hand to ignore his words" Ai... How can I? You did so much for us, I can only do this much." and her eyes turn towards Qin Yang " Aiyah.. who is this? A new girlfriend? What happened to the one that always came here with you before? "

" Granny Mei, it is her. It's Qin Yang from before." Jun Ting places his hand on Qin Yang's back and pushes her in front, her eyes well up at the sight of the old woman " Granny Mei, do you remember me? I always order seconds for your udon."

Granny Mei held her hand into her rough hand " Of course I remember you! Wah... you look so beautiful now. Are you still doing drawing as you wanted?"

Qin Yang nods aggressively and wipes her tears away " I did, I followed your advice from before. I will send one to you soon."

Patting her hand and gave a motherly smile, she let out a soft chuckle " Aiyah...it's good you follow your dreams and got a man. Don't need to give me your drawings, I can't put it anywhere at my home, it's too small and crowded. Just bring me back some beautiful children the next time you visit."

Qin Yang sniffs and hugs the old woman " I miss your udon, Granny Mei."

" Aiyah... stop crying if not I don't know what to do. Come in and eat, the udon won't come if we keep standing here." Granny Mei held her tears in and pats Qin Yang's shoulders, calming her down.

Lee San Hong b.u.t.tons his blazer, seeing his investor out the door. He drops on the chair and picks up his chopsticks and continues to eat " Fu Shan, prepare the contract soon."
