She knew that if she definitely goes back home they can cure Lu Ling, but she's too stubborn to give up all her efforts like that, she just can't abandon her family like this especially when they need her the most. "I'm not being an hypocrite I'm just being realistic and having a back up plan". Mia defended.

"Don't worry love, we get it , even if you are an hypocrite I'll still marry you". Hangul teased her and wrapped his arm around her. Jiwoo laughed on hearing him while Mia angrily elbowed him.

"Ouch!" Hangul yelped pretending to be in pain.

The atmosphere suddenly turned tense as Jiseok got up from his seat and walked slowly to her with his lips curved slightly upwards.

"Do you want to hear the deal?" he asked casually still smiling as he sat casually closer to her. Taner felt uncomfortable and could feel her palms sweating profusely while her heart his beating very fast. His pleasant masculine scent filled her nostrils as he s.h.i.+fted close to her bringing his face very close to hers. Taner was shocked by his weird actions and quickly s.h.i.+fted away from him trying to create a distance between them.

He smiled silently as he observed her, 'let's see if you can continue running', he smirked thinking silently.

To her own dismay, he s.h.i.+fted closer the more moved away from him. She continued moving backwards until she reached the end of the sofa. Jiseok smiled slyly, 'Now you can't run anymore', he cornered her on the sofa placing his hands beside her and bending down slightly. She could feel his hot minty breath fanning her face.

"Are you ready to listen to my deal?" he asked with his husky voice slightly bending more to the extent that the tip of their nose was touching.

"If you agree to be my fiancée, I'll pay your dad medical fee and all your debts". Jiseok replied smiling slyly. "I know you have just one week to save your dad, so what's your answer?" he smirked watching her expression. "I'm giving you 24 hours to make your final decision".

"How long will I pretend to be your fiancee?" Taner finally calm down and asked.

Jiseok was happy seeing her interested, "Well this is not some ordinary deal and I have to correct you there, you are not pretending you will really be my real fiancee and we will get married in three months time".

Taner looked at him stupefied, she started laughing holding her stomach. She finally stopped and looked at him, "Wait! You weren't joking?"

"Miss Lu, I guess you should know by now that I don't make this type of silly jokes, I'm very serious". He said firmly and stood up walking back to his chair. "Like I said, you have twenty four hours to think this through before the deal is off and you can take the rest of the day off to think about this deal....I'm giving you enough time because this is a life changing decision, you know the way out miss Lu".

"Just one question, why me?" she asked confused, "I mean there are so many girls who would happily take this offer but why me?"

'Because you are my Taner'. He badly wanted to say that out but changed it. "Because you are different and have the qualities I'm looking for in a wife". He answered simply. Taner stared at him for a while before getting up to leave.

"Taner I know this is so sudden but you will definitely benefit more, opportunities come but once in a lifetime, you may leave".

Taner left the office dazed and deep in thoughts. She was confused on what to do.
