The God World 1 The Star

Roy has finally become 16 years old. As usual he wakes up to the annoying alarm of his S Phone 7. It's 7.00 and he's hungry. He has been living on only a few credits for a week. So he's only eaten bread and b.u.t.ter for the past few days. He gets up, and eats. After he's finished he goes to the United Human Alliance to go to the famous G.o.d World.

G.o.d World is a strange place that appeared around 50 years ago, in the year 2068. It was first a portal looking 'thing' so when people saw it, they didn't think much of it. Portals have been around since 2057 after all. But when someone tried going through it, they never came back. After a while, the UHA (United Human Alliance) sent its people in, and returned, everyone was shocked. Apparently, there was a whole new world there. At first people didn't believe it, but after other people went in, they told of a world with monsters, magic... And even something called 'levels'. This was amazing to almost everyone.

When other people reported what it was like there, they were even more shocked. The 'monsters' there couldn't be hurt by modern guns. Or at least, they just left some minor marks.

Because there were also people there, now called NPCs, they tried asking them about this world. The NPCs call them 'Blessed people', and told them that this was the 'G.o.d World'. Of course everyone already knew that, because there was something like a 'menu', that said, in bold letters "G.o.d World".

The NPCs weren't very useful at first, but they gradually became useful. It wasn't that they were learning, humans just didn't know how to speak to them. The NPCs also helped humans hunt monsters. But in a different way...

They used swords, used the 'system' to form a party and share EXP with humans etc. When the humans finally got to level 3, they could kill level 0 monsters on their on. They also experienced a growth in their physical prowess. This seemed to be caused by their 'stats' rising and the attribute points they a.s.signed. These changes also carried on to the human world, so people were overjoyed.

In a few words, this was amazing to everyone.

The portals to enter G.o.d World were in almost every country on every inhabited planet, so he had an easy time getting to one. He had to wait about 30 minutes to enter, because it was his first time. He had to fill out different form, like, where he was from, his age etc. He also had to provide an identification to confirm who he was, and if he really was 16 years old.

Once he got that settled, he entered the portal.

"Finally!" Roy exclaimed. He was very happy to finally enter GW (G.o.d World). He's always dreamed of this. Here he could become powerful, get rich, get ladies etc. He was looking around excitedly. He started walking around and exploring the town Dener. He soon found the market, auction house, different 1 - 2 star hotels and everything else. It was a fairly decent town. But it was still nothing compared to all the bigger cities and capitals of bigger countries, kingdoms and empires he had heard about.

But then he thought "Huh? Lucky Man Returned? Since when am I lucky?". He was surprised because he thought he always had bad luck. "I've never won anything, have to come 20 minutes earlier to get on the bus, or else I'll miss it, five birds p.o.o.ped on me this month alone, and it's still only the fourth day of the month!" ... "Whatever, maybe it's one of those ironically generated names." That has happened before, after all, Usernames were generated by GW according to the persons character traits. And GW may be an AI system, so there is a possibility that it has a sense of 'humor'.

"Okay, first I need to register my cla.s.s." he wanted to become a swordsman. It was what he practiced and loved. He had a pa.s.sion for sword fighting, and enjoyed doing it. Humans have, after all, began practicing this kind of stuff once GW was discovered.

He went to the Dener Town Hall and registered as a swordsman.
