Susu looked up and saw everyone thinking hard about how to perform the scene on the paper in their hands.

The performance in the cla.s.sroom was visible to everyone. To observe and promote each other was the purpose of learning. But the first performer would be easy to imitate, and the second one might be regarded as an imitator, which was very contradictory.

Mr. Zhou sat in the corner, dozing off with his eyes closed, but Susu always felt that he was looking at everyone quietly. Everyone's facial expressions were fully visible.

Susu quickly restrained her mind from wandering, and began to think about how to express the scene that she read in the paper.

Three minutes of performance. They must control the rhythm.

Groups B and C began to talk between themselves regarding their own lines. Only group A was silent. Occasionally, group B and group C would cast curious eyes, while group A turned a blind eye.

Half an hour quickly pa.s.sed.

“Alright, cla.s.s. Let's start. Or we won't be having lunch today.” Mr. Zhou clapped his hands and stood up.

“Don't prepare any more. Watch other students' performances carefully. It's a good opportunity.”

“Who will come first?” Mr. Zhou stood in the center and scanned around.

“I will.” One of group B's students came out, and it was Qiu Yali.

“Well, let's clap.” Mr. Zhou took the lead in applauding to show encouragement. The students also clapped their hands.

“Let's get started.” Mr. Zhou signaled.

Qiu Yali's eyes suddenly turned vicious, her face became fierce as she pressed her lips hard. She squatted half-way, held her hands flat, raised her head and clenched her fist, swinging it down hard. The flat hands began to move rhythmically. This was a riding position. Then, she changed her gesture and took a machete. She chopped the thorns and wiped them off all the way. Then, she suddenly pulled hard, stopping the whole body. Slowly she turned her head, and a drop of tear fell from the corner of her eyes.

Qiu Yali paused for a few seconds, then stood up straight and bowed to everyone, indicating that the performance was over.

There were only a few simple lines such as “Hey, Ha, Hey” and other onomatopoeic words. The action of a squatting horse showed Qiu Yali's basic skills. The movement of the horse was steady. It lasted three minutes and then she stood upright without wobbling.

“En, it was really good.” Mr. Zhou praised.

“The expression was very rich. Now, everyone first guess what she performed. Group B don't say anything.” Teacher Zhou was a gray-headed old man. He squinted his eyes, making a playful look, which made his students unable to restrain their smiles.

“Oh, beautiful lady, is it a long-distance search for a husband?” Kong Shan Wei cracked a joke. Because this was only a cla.s.s discussion, the atmosphere was very relaxed.

“Good deeds. No one is looking for a husband. What are you happy about?” Liu Yong Jia ridiculed.

“The beautiful lady said she was under a lot of pressure.” Zhang Yi Yun said profoundly.

“Is it 'The East invincible'?”

“The murderous intent is very strong. It shouldn't be like that.”

When she heard this, Qiu Yali's eyes glowed with joy.

"The murderous intent?"

“Is it 'Farewell, my concubine'?” Susu asked.

“No,” said Mr. Zhou, “but it was very close. Well, let's talk about her performance later when the answer is announced. Who's next?”

“I will.” Unexpectedly, Zhang Xiao Yu jumped up first. “Teacher Zhou, I want personal props.”

“OK.”

Mr. Zhou pointed to several boys, “Him, him, and him. You can take all of them. Even I can do it if you want an old man.”

“Qiao Yu Shun, help me .” Zhang Xiao Yu looked at him pitifully. In the cla.s.s, the girls were pretty, while the boys such as Liu Yong Jia, Zhang Yi Yun, Dong Lei Shuo were very handsome. Only Qiao Shun Yu can be called the most handsome guy in the cla.s.s.

Qiao Shun Yu, a native of Northeast China, was born a child star. When he was young, he starred in many TV dramas and movies. The roles played included the golden boy of Guanyin, the young Yang Zongbao, the young Jia Baoyu and so on. At that time, he was a big hit of the year. He still had a pair of red lips and pearly white teeth, and looked like a person straight out of a portrait. He was handsome and exceptional, and looked like a teenager who didn't turn fully into a man. He was so gentle and delicate that it was hard to ignore his existence. He was a handsome young man per the Chinese beauty standard.

“Well, what am I going to do?” Qiao Shun Yu readily agreed.

“Don't move, just stand there.” Zhang Xiao Yu said.

Qiao Shun Yu stood beside Zhang Xiao Yu.

This group of people were afraid that the world will not fall into chaos.

“Wow, little beauty. Come on and be a prop.” Qiu Yali's expression relaxed when she came down from the stage.

“Xiao Yu, why don't you take your jokes with you first,” Liu Yong Jia looked sad and angry.

“Xiao Yu, my heart is breaking. We hugged back-to-back.” Zhang Yi Yun grieved.

“Why didn't you choose me for the joke?” Dong Lei Shuo was curious.

“Now that you are done with the joke, forget it. I promised to propose to you.” Zhang Yi Yun turned around and held Dong Lei Shuo's hand.

“I had never told you to propose to me.” Dong Lei Shuo threw his hand aside.

In the middle, Qiao Shun Yu shouted, “Yun Yun, you promised to marry someone else? You dare go to my bed this evening!”

The whole cla.s.sroom was quiet, and then a more exaggerated laugh broke out.

“Let's get started.” Mr. Zhou announced.

The noisy cla.s.sroom soon became quiet.
