Fairy Tale Of A Village Girl 10 Her Prince Charming

After finis.h.i.+ng brus.h.i.+ng the teeth and rinsing the face, Varsha finished her breakfast and went to the vegetable garden which is at one side of the house.

She does not drink morning tea because she thinks it will make her skin dark. Everyone in the family makes fun of her for being so beauty conscious but she only says that her future husband will certainly appreciate her for her all efforts, why should she care about those who make fun. She just laughs it off.

In her mobile, there is a photo of Akash who is in Pune. She took this picture from a photo which was given to her by her grandfather when she was 11 year old. Akash was 14 years old at that time. When grandpa from Pune came to visit with grandma when she was 10, he brought that photo of Akash with him and arranged their marriage. Her grandfather talks with them occasionally and also they send some money to her family directly for the village's development. This has also elevated their family's status in the village. Her grandfather had spent money for the village's school, road and also helped development in some nearby villages.

At time went by, she heard more things about that family from her grandfather and grandmother and she felt deeply attached to her husband to be. She still remembers the grandpa and grandma of Pune when she was 10 years old and remembers their affection to her. It makes her happy to know that she will go to their family. It never occurred to her that she will be leaving her family due to marriage.

Whenever she is alone, she will open that photo in her book or sometime in her phone and talk to him. This time every morning when she waters the vegetables, she gets ample time to talk to her prince charming. This has been the case since the time she completed her 12th grade at the age of 17. It has been 3 years and she only thinks of her prince who will take her away on his horse. She only does things to learn and perfect herself so that her prince will be proud of her.

She has her purse hanging on her side which contains her phone and running toward the vegetable garden from the side door. There is one tube well and also one irrigation well which is used both for house use and vegetable growing.

Her father and uncle might be done arranging the water channels to water the vegetables for today. Watering involves blocking and unblocking the channels to make the water flow in different small plots of vegetables.

The moment she reached running and jumping in the garden, Her father shouted "Dear, we are done. The water tank is also full. You don't have to turn on the motor. We have put the pipe to the water channels. Just turn on the tap and arrange the water flow properly."

Varsha smiled and said "Ok, Papa. I know. I have already done it many times."

Her uncle laughed and said "Of course, we have to tell you every time. What if your prince charming took all the time and all the vegetables got submerged in the water?"

"Okay, okay. Go back you both. I will ask him to leave some time for watering the vegetables. You both go and have your breakfast." Varsha shyly told them to go away. It just happened once but her uncle always makes fun of her for that.

It happened a few years back when she was watering the vegetables but she forgot to divert the water to different plot and the plot being watered almost got filled with water and became like a small pond and all vegetables got submerged. That was her first time taking care of watering vegetables in the garden.

She was sitting at one side and looking at her prince in the phone and asking him whether they also have a vegetable garden at their house. If they don't have one, will he allow her to make one? If they have, will he allow her to take care of it after she learned it well here?

She forgot that she has to direct water to other plot and when her cousin found her, she was still talking to photo and plot was full of water. She became a laughing stock for many days and she has to run away whenever someone raised that topic. Now they don't make that much fun but still, her uncle does it sometime.

She pouted and went to open the tap to start water to the first plot connected to the water channel. Her uncle laughed and went with her father back into the house. Her sisters-in-law will also be here soon after breakfast, so she does not have to be alone or work hard for long.

She opened the tap and checked that the water channel was connected to the proper plot to water and then set her alarm for 15 minutes later. She has measured and found that every plot takes 15 minutes to be watered from the tank. For the motor, due to more pressure of water, it only takes 10 minutes. She smiled at her own wits that even her prince charming can not distract her.

She looked at the wallpaper in her phone which is the photo of Akash when he was 13 years old and she said while pouting "You must be enjoying there. I am suffering here to impress you. I have learned cooking. I always take care of everyone. I can do head ma.s.sage, foot ma.s.sage also. I can also do gardening and can grow vegetables by myself. Now there is nothing left to learn. I have already turned 20, Just come soon, okay?"

"Do you ever think of me? As my mother and everyone says, I have really become infatuated. My grandfather and grandmother have talked too much about your family that mentally I have already gotten married in your family." her eyes gradually turned dreamy.

Suddenly the alarm of the phone rang, her dreamland dispersed and she scolded on the phone while standing up "You are also my enemy."
