Chapter 31 - Neither Good At Civil Nor Military

“What do you want?” Yun Bo became depressed by such an eerie atmosphere. He looked at Yun Ling Xuan and said angrily, “Don't think that you had lose your parents and I'll let you off. If you p.i.s.s me off, I will beat you up without delay.”

“On the surface, the Yun Residence looked impressive. A few uncles are officials, but the few of you cousin brothers are neither good at civil nor military. Who will be able to support the future Yun Residence?” This was the most crucial reason for Yun Family's extermination.

The Yun Residence that was always on the civil route did not like anybody in the Yun Residence to practice martial arts. Her second cousin brother that always wanted to join the military had become so depressed. Even when he died, he was so numbed. And the Yun Bo who was standing in front of her was killed by batons even before the Yun Family was exterminated.

It was a really bad feeling to be mocked by the people that he had always despised.

“Hmph! Even if I am neither good at civil nor military, I'm still better than you! Yun Ling Xuan, your father is such a disgrace. Because of your mother, he left the Yun Residence and established his own business. We still do not know his wealth will land in whose hands. Haha… At least, I still have my parents to protect me. Unlike you now, you don't even have anyone to protect you!” Yun Bo was spoiled that was why the words that he said were completely brainless. He was unable to accept that he was being mocked by others.

In his point of view, it should be Yun Ling Xuan who should crawl towards him with her head down and begged him to put in some nice words in front of grandmother, so that the Yun Family could be allowed to enter the Yun Residence again.

“Oh, that's not what cousin should care about!” Ling Xuan's eyes flashed with astute as she replied casually.

Yun Bo held his hands tightly. He felt that what she said was wrong, but he had no idea how to counter it. Even if he was a b.a.s.t.a.r.d, he also knew that the people in Yun Residence could have such a good life was simply because his fourth uncle and fourth aunt had been sending silver money and goods to Yun Residence for so many years. Otherwise, the Yun Residence that was not good at production wouldn't have such a good life.

If Yun Ling Xuan gave all the properties to someone else, would Yun Residence still have such a good day?

Before that, he was listening to his mother nagging to his father about why did the family business fall into the hands of Yun Ling Xuan. The daughter had no right to inherit the family business. The Yun Residence should take all of it back.

However, his mother's words were struck down by his father. He even scolded her for being blinded by money and wanted to do something that would make others criticize the Yun Residence's back.

That year, Yun Qing brought ShangGuan Yuan out to start their own business and everyone in the capital knew about it. If the Yun Residence took their wealth and businesses after they pa.s.sed away, wouldn't it be a good chance to let the whole capital to make fun of them?
