Stacey told them how she read Ceddy's message on the chat group and rushed to Claudia's apartment, only to see the butler jump out of the window and escaping. She followed him to the hotel of Chris family and waited, during the time she was thinking what to do next, the butler came out and drove away. Stacey told them how she rammed his car and took care of him. She picked afterwards their scent and ran over to them. His corpse was still lying beside the car.

Michael praised her a bit before pointing out her mistake of leaving the body behind.

"Leroy go there and get the body, hopefully no one has found it yet and called the Sheriff."

Leroy nodded and took off.

"The two of you will help me digging a hole to bury her."

Sheriff Dawson and his Deputy were standing in front of a headless and limbless body. Sheriff Dawson felt a huge headache coming, and his Deputy couldn't hold it anymore and turned around, throwing up.

"For G.o.d's sake, Billy get yourself together, I'm beginning to doubt that you are a hunter." Cursed Sheriff Dawson loudly.

The poor Billy wiped his mouth clean with a handkerchief and looked aggrieved at the Sheriff, "Give me a break Harry, this is just too much!"

Sheriff Dawson frowned and calmed down, "Sorry Billy it's just...."

Billy put his hand on Sheriff Dawson's shoulder, "I know. What on earth did this?"

Sheriff Dawson turned to Deputy Billy surprised, "What do you mean?"

"Well I can tell from a glance that this wasn't done by a human, it was some kind of animal. Look at the bite mark on the right arm there." Said Billy, pointing at the arm on the ground, and suppressing his urge to throw up again.

The Sheriff took out a cigarette, "What the h.e.l.l is going on in Palmer Falls? First the dead Vampi...."

"What?" Asked Billy who was surprised by Sheriff Dawsons abruptly freezing in the middle of his sentence.

The Sheriff ignored him and took out his phone and called someone, "Yes Frank it's me, no I'm not good, are the group of vampire still inside your hotel? Why I ask? That isn't your G.o.dd.a.m.n problem, check if they are still there."

Sheriff Dawson was restless running up and down.

"Yes I'm still here...I understand, don't tell anybody about it and delete any information about them checking inside your hotel... Don't ask just do it!"

Sheriff Dawson felt powerless and leaned on the car.

"What happened?"

"We all are as good as dead, that happened." Answered Dawson exhausted.

"Harry don't let me in the dark and tell me!"

"I called Frank Norwish and asked him about the group of vampires that stayed at his hotel.....they all vanished mysteriously."

"What does that mean?"

"The corpse here look at his clothes, they are clearly high quality stuff and it looks like a butler attire...this should be the personal butler from the High Vampire that stayed at the hotel. If what I'm thinking is right then...."

"They are most likely all dead." Ended Deputy Billy the sentence as he paled.

Sheriff Dawson nodded, "I don't know what is going on but the first vampire was poisoned to death, this one here on other hand...."

"Got ripped apart, and we still need to find his head."

"Yes....we still need to wait for Doctor Weston, he will confirm if I'm right or wrong, I hope the latter." Said Dawson during lightning up his cigarette.

Unknown to him, someone heard everything they said and started to retreat deeper into the woods, his pair of bright golden eyes, slowly fading into the darkness.

Michael, Stacey and Chris were later picked up by James who drove them all back to their homes. It was really late in the night and they came up with an excuse that they stayed with Michael to support him in his difficult time, after his mother collapsed.

The next day when Michael arrived at the school he was taken to the side by Leroy.

Michael saw how nervous Leroy was and asked, "Did something happen?"

Leroy looked around to make sure no one was near and started to explain, "Yes two things happened...you know my little sister right?"

Michael wanted to ask why he was asking him such an obvious question, of course did he know Leroy's little sister, but he simply nodded.

"Well the thing is, she found out that I'm a werewolf."

"What?! How?"

"She spied on me yesterday and recorded how I transformed into a werewolf inside my room and jumped out from the window...."

"Wow that's messed up....why would she spy on you in the first place?"

"I don't know, really I have no idea why, she said to me that she wants to become a werewolf too. If not she would upload the video, for the whole world to see."

Michael's eyes widened, "D*mn she is ruthless."

Leroy lamented, "She is too smart for her age."

"She is only one year younger though." Michael was touching his chin.

"What should we do?"

Michael sighed, "Give her what she wants, we can't silence your sister can we?"

"Alright...I will do it tonight."

"Make sure to explain the risks and our pack rules to her properly."

Leroy nodded.

"And the second thing?" Asked Michael

"Ah yes I almost forgot."

Leroy told him about the conversation between Sheriff Dawson and Deputy Bily.

Michael nodded an was lost in his thoughts. He nodded to Leroy and both of them walked to the cla.s.sroom to join joined the rest.

Michael was picked up by James after school and drove to the hospital to visit his mother. Claudia and Ceddy tagged along, because her mother was about to be released.

Luckily Claudia's mother couldn't remember what happened last night due to her head injury.

Michael sat down beside his mother and James left the room to give him s.p.a.ce.

'Brain cancer....should I turn her? It could probably heal her...'

While he was deep in thoughts a man entered the room.
