Riley has been living with the Myers family for 1 week, it was very difficult for him to get used to a new home, apart from the fact that his old house was close enough. Therefore, from time to time it causes bad memories.

Today Riley will go with Noa to a secret place in a forest that separates the neighboring city that is quite close. Noa found that place when she was on a school trip in the forest, she separated from her group due to carelessness, when she was alone and wanting to cry. He found a beautiful area in the forest, where the flowers were very beautiful and rare. He did not see a single dangerous animal in the vicinity, so when he saw this scene, Noa calmed down a lot.

The funny thing is that after entering that place and staying in it for a few minutes, I listen as if someone is calling his name from somewhere. She followed the voice and when I did not hear her, she saw her group looking for her.

After what happened, Noa treasured that place and constantly goes to that place with Riley.

"This place is becoming more beautiful, ah, I really want to live here forever!" Noa says as she rolls through the gra.s.s and dirties her clothes with some gra.s.s.

Riley could hear a soft voice calling him, looked at the direction from which the voice came and walked towards it. When I was only 2 meters away from the voice, I could see what it was.

"Riley... help me, I can not move * Cough Cough * I do not know what's wrong with my body..."

It's Noa, its skin is dark green and it's very wrinkled, almost like it's a dry, old branch. His pupils are light green and he can not seem to keep his eyes open. He seems to be making a great effort to keep them open and he does not stop coughing.

"W-what happened to you, why are you like this, who did this to you?" Riley asks scared.

"* Cough Cough * a moment ago I woke up, I was going to wake you up too, but I saw something that moved and I followed him here" * Cough Cough *, but... when I was about to see what it was, that thing suddenly jumped and bit my right arm" Noa says with great difficulty while pointing something half a meter away.

Riley looks at him for a moment, it's a snake, it seems he died after biting Noa, his body seems to be rotting slowly, looking like Noa's skin, like it's a dry branch.

However, it was only a moment that Riley looked at the snake, ran towards where Noa is.

"Noah, what can I do? How can I help you? I'll take you to the city quickly so they can treat you" Riley says touching Noa's body, apparently with the intention of carrying her.

However, when his fingers touched Noa's skin, he heard a crunch, Riley looked at his fingers and saw that Noa's skin was breaking little by little. The parts that break up are slowly turning into dust.

"No, no, no, what's going on?!, Noa, tell me this is a nightmare, aahhh!" Riley can no longer control herself and ends up screaming.

"* Cough Cough * * Cough Cough * R-Riley my eyesight is getting darker, I ...maybe I'm going to die, I'm scared and I do not want to die, but Riley, you have to promise to live for the 2 and for your family, do not be sad... " Noa's voice can no longer be heard after saying this.

Riley saw how Noa's body was turning to dust until there was nothing left of the Noa that Riley knows.

With a lost look looking at the dust that once was Noa. Riley was silent for more than 5 minutes in the same position.

His eyes had no tears, his eyes looked like those of a dead person, he raised his head and looked at the snake that had already become a dry branch. He walked slowly to where the branch is, when he is only a few centimeters from the branch, he lifts his foot with the intention of crus.h.i.+ng the branch.

But Riley remembered that this was the only thing that would give him the answers as to why Noa turned to dust. So he picked up the branch. Then I look for the last time at the rest of the dust that was soon swept by a wave of wind. He turns around, walks in the opposite direction to the city from where they came, entering deeper and deeper into the forest.

After walking several hours with a blank mind, Riley looks around and realizes he does not know where he is, walks a little more and after a few more minutes Riley can see several lights. Riley looks at the lights for a short period of time and walks to where the lights are along with the branch in her hand.

A few meters from the lights, Riley can see what they are. Apparently I end up walking until I get to the neighboring city, Riley takes out his cell phone, but realizes he has no battery. Riley does not seem to care much and puts it in her pocket again.

"I do not know how to go back, but I do not want to go back to that place either and I would not know how to explain it to Noa's parents..." When Riley says Noa's name, an expression of sadness floods him.
