Lin Mingyue walked out of Professor Qin's office and frowned .

Her friend, Yan Han, had suggested her see her superior, Professor Qin, to find out why she kept having those recurring dreams . After an hour session of consultation, Professor Qin indicated that they should have a few other therapy sessions before they find out why Mingyue was having those dreams . Once her s.h.i.+ft was over, Mingyue found that Yang Yun was waiting for her downstairs . Her steps froze as she zoned out as she continued to watch him for a while longer .

Yang Yun tilted his head up as he felt her stare . Their gaze met, and his lips curved into a smile . Yang Yun straightened up his body and walked towards his wife . "You're going home?"

Mingyue snapped out of her trance and nodded . "Were you waiting for me? How long have you been here?"

"I didn't wait for too long . I met your friend at the entrance, and she said you should come out anytime soon," Yang Yun said and frowned . "I heard that you were unwell for a few days ago . Are you alright?"

"I'm fine . I was probably stressed due to work . " Mingyue pushed a few strands of hair behind her ear and smiled to a.s.sure him . "Don't worry too much . "

"Have you eaten? Let's go out and grab something to eat," Mingyue suggested .

"Alright," Yang Yun nodded . The two of them left the hospital and went to a noodle restaurant near Mingyue's apartment .

Once they placed their order, Lin Mingyue leaned on the table and stared at Yang Yun .

Noticing her staring openly at him, Yang Yun felt his body grew hot . He let out a chuckle and said, "What is it? Why are you staring at me like that?"

Yang Yun grew uneasy when Mingyue did not answer . He then recalled his brief conversation with Nurse Tang, where he found out that Mingyue has been absentminded for a few days .  

"Mingyue? What is it?" His gaze grew soft . "You can tell me anything, you know?"

Mingyue hesitated . "Well, promise me you won't laugh or make fun of me . "

"I promise," Yang Yun said easily .

"Yang Yun, do you believe in a past life?" Mingyue asked .

Yang Yun froze for seconds as he heard her question . "Past life?" he stared at her and continued, "You don't look like someone who would believe in such things . Why do you suddenly ask me about this?"

There was a brief silence between them as Mingyue tried to gather her thought . After a while, she spoke again, "Recently, I have been having these dreams . In these dreams, I would often saw people dressed as if they were in costume dramas . A friend said that they might be my memories . When I mentioned this to my sister, she said that those were probably memories from my past life . "

Yang Yun clenched his hand . His heart skipped a beat as he made a guess of what kind of dream Mingyue was having . He took a few deep breaths and raised a brow . "Oh? What do you see in your dream?"
