Xin Siyue's chest ached in pain due to anger. One after another, the people in the book kept looking for trouble with her. What were their intentions? She finally calmed herself down and coldly asked, "What do you mean?"

When Mao s.h.i.+yuan heard her tone, he was shocked for a moment, "Why are you acting so serious?"

Xin Siyue felt that she was about to be schemed endlessly by them, "Why are you sending this to Chen Sinan?"

Mao s.h.i.+yuan hurriedly placed his phone in his pocket to prevent her from stealing his phone. Once he believed it was safe, he replied, "I'm helping you."

"Helping me?" Xin Siyue's voice turned colder, "Forgive me because I don't understand how you're helping me by your actions."

Mao s.h.i.+yuan was amused by her tone, "Ah, I noticed that you became much more interesting after the fall semester."

Xin Siyue rolled her eyes, "If you think I became interesting after my fall, then you should try falling down the stairs as well."

As someone who wanted to avoid physical injuries, Mao s.h.i.+yuan immediately retorted, "I didn't do anything wrong!"

Xin Siyue silently looked at him without reply.

Meanwhile, Mao s.h.i.+yuan tried to worm his way closer to her: "I'm really trying to help you."

Xin Siyue coldly humphed, "Mao s.h.i.+yuan, I didn't know that you have a hobby of secretly recording other people."

"I would do a disservice to myself if I didn't capture such an amazing moment!" Mao s.h.i.+yuan said with confidence. 

Xin Siyue felt that if she could shoot arrows out from her eyes, this student would already have ten thousand arrows stabbing through his heart!

Mao s.h.i.+yuan laughed, "Don't be anxious, listen to me as I explain."

Xin Siyue wasn't interested, "Thank you very much but I don't believe that there are any benefits for me for listening to you. However, I do know that you're just enjoying this show and treating me as amus.e.m.e.nt for yourself."

Mao s.h.i.+yuan laughed, "Indeed, I like to watch the show, especially when it involves both Chen Sinan and you. Not only did you successfully attract Chen Sinan's attention with your words, what was most important was that he would know your truthful thoughts. If you really don't like him anymore, then he wouldn't think too badly of you from now on…"

Xin Siyue didn't feel the same way as he did, "Since I don't like him, why should I care about how he thinks of me?"

"Uh…" Mao s.h.i.+yuan felt that there was something wrong; how was he supposed to respond to her remark?

Xin Siyue knew that she was right and continued, "You misunderstood my intentions. From the beginning, I didn't have any intentions of attracting Chen Sinan's attention."

"What?" Mao s.h.i.+yuan was shocked, "Weren't you pursuing him to the point where 'you would only marry him this life'?"

Xin Siyue chuckled, "Times have changed. Plus, I lost my memory, remember?"

As she childishly blinked her big eyes, Mao s.h.i.+yuan was stunned, not knowing how to react to her action.

Xin Siyue subconsciously realized that it was out of character for her to act like this, so she softly coughed and emphasised, "Anyways, don't mention Chen Sinan in front of me again. You should know that nothing will happen between Sinan and I. He loved Sheng Wenyang…"

As if Mao s.h.i.+yuan had just suddenly realized something, he asked, "So you gave up in him halfway because of Sheng Wenyang?" He continued, "No! Didn't you lose your memory? How did you know about her? Plus, you already knew about Sheng Wenyang in the past and I even reminded you about that out of kindness but you still ignored my advice. You told me that you're not afraid of a person who isn't even in the country right now and that you will win Nan's heart while she wasn't here…"

Xin Siyue waved her hands, "I really don't remember everything that I've said. Ji Yi was the one who told me about Sheng Wenyang." She looked at Mao s.h.i.+yuan, trying to verify the truth, "Didn't they say that they were in love with each other?"
