Avoid The Protagonist! Chapter 41

Chen Sinan gazed deeply into the rearview mirror and couldn't help but curse. He took out his phone, about to call Mao s.h.i.+yuan to pick her up, when he saw her slowly walking in her heels. He couldn't help but put his phone down. 

Someone had quite the att.i.tude!

He parked the car on the side of the road and rolled down the window. The wind blew in and lifted his irritation away. He placed one hand by the edge of the window, his gaze still fixated on the stubborn figure that occasionally switched from walking to stopping. 

Xin Siyue thought of asking Xin Qiancheng for help after borrowing a pa.s.serby's phone, but when she thought of the lecherous male gazes she had received, she stopped thinking about it immediately. She realized that she didn't know anyone's phone number in this world to begin with. She had saved them in her phone and never paid them any more attention. 

She also discovered that she didn't even know her own number. 

Xin Siyue raised her hand to her face, ma.s.saging her forehead. "Heaven really wants to ruin me!"

After walking for almost twenty minutes, Xin Siyue suddenly noticed that the black car up ahead was no longer moving. 

Xin Siyue abruptly had a thoughtー "Hm, Chen Sinan isn't the type to show compa.s.sion" ーbefore she wisely stopped herself from thinking any further in that regard. 

But the closer the car was, Xin Siyue couldn't help but feel that he was in there.

He didn't abandon her, but that wasn't necessarily a good thing. Did he want to torture her because he had nothing else to do? What was his problem?

When Xin Siyue moved closer to the car, she wanted to walk directly past the window. 

She didn't want to talk to him at all! If she did, she was afraid that she might just throw her heels at his face! 

Seeing that she was still in a fit, Chen Sinan had no choice but to get out of the car and stop her. 

Xin Siyue proudly raised her chin and coldly said, "Get lost!"

There wasn't a person in the world besides Xin Siyue who dared tell him to "get lost". Chen Sinan took a deep breath before saying, "Let's make a dealー"

He couldn't even finish his proposal before Xin Siyue rejected without a hint of hesitation. "No!"

Chen Sinan couldn't help but smile at her angry expression. "I didn't say what it was yet."

"I'm not interested no matter what it is." She stubbornly looked in another direction, unwilling to look at his face. 

Chen Sinan stopped smiling and looked at her. "As long as it has to do with me, you're not interested, right?"

"You saw the video?" Xin Siyue asked, suddenly remembering what Mao s.h.i.+yuan had done. 

Seeing that he hadn't deny it, Xin Siyue smiled slightly. "This will save me breath, then. I'm entirely uninterested and don't want anything to do with you. I always thought that you wanted the same, too."

Chen Sinan wanted to retort with, "How do you know what I'm thinking?"

But before he opened her mouth, she continued, "I think it isn't your style to try building a relations.h.i.+p with me. I understand you, Chen Sinan, so let's stop tormenting each other. Why don't we just stay on opposite sides of the world? If you really don't want to see me, I won't attend these banquets in the future and focus on learning, alright? And if you're still worried about me staying in Sheng Jin City, then I'll just leave, alright?"

Seeing how far she stooped to tell him all that, Chen Sinan could feel what she was really trying to tell him: "She didn't care about him at all! She wanted to be far away from him!" 

Chen Sinan was displeased with how things had ended up, suddenly remembering how that night alone, he'd already been rejected by the same woman standing in front of him multiple times.

Xin Siyue was really something.
