Ball Master 11 Chapter 11: Who's Now The Soft Egg

Jayson is still struggling to get up, while his teammates and Coach Olivia had already gathered in the court to celebrate. Coach Olivia rushes over to and kisses him in the cheek.

"Yah Jayson, you did great job in today's' game, you're like Michael Jordan or maybe even more amazing than him" Coach Olivia said.

No one in the team felt something was wrong, so as Jayson's buzzer beater was completed and take the team for h.e.l.l to paradise.

"Guys, step aside and I have something to do" Jayson said. The crowd clears a path for him to Bruins Center. He should be a Shaq fan coz he's wearing a jersey no.34. In the second half of the game, he hit Jayson and fell to the ground but he also laughed and satirizes Jayson as a soft egg.

Now, Jayson came to him as last man standing and winner of the game.

"Who's now the soft egg" Jayson look at him in the eyes.

Bruins player was still silent and his eyes are dodging Jayson's sight. He has already felt guilty and made a wrong judgment about Jayson isn't a "soft egg" but a "madman".

"This is harder than you think it is" Jayson pointed to his chest and said; "There a saying that the narrow the road meets the brave. When I rush to you, you let me go coz you got scared and much softer than me".

The Bruins player lower his head with shame, he have no courage to resist, lacks a brave heart and only have a strong body. Jayson looking at Bruins player low-head like a wronged primary student, he couldn't help but shake his head and walk towards his sisters.

Jayson completed a full court fast-break attack and a game winner. Avril also got recognize by the UCLA students sitting behind her. She could no longer her excitement and her heart broke out immediately. She removes her mask, cap and stood up in the chair and called out Jayson;

"That's my brother! Jayson! I said he would rule the game and the king of Los Angeles tonight! And you have to applaud for his efforts!" Avril shouted to the fans.

In the eyes of these college kids, Avril is a popular punk princess and they also forgot that they lose the game against Beavers. They began to shout Avril's name and become the center of limelight.

Shery pull her and said; "Hey Avril, look at the female coach is taking advantage of our Jayson and took opportunity to kiss, this awful and old woman!"

"Be sure to keep Jayson away from this old woman" Avril replied.

Although, he has no more energy, he drags himself, walk over to them and smile in front of his two sisters; "How's my game tonight?"

"You only scored three goals in total and there's nothing to brag about it. If not for the last wonderful goal and there's nothing at all. But in the end, you single-handedly the ball, are you're not offside? When you shoot, you can't have an opponent in your front" Shery said.

Jayson never thought that his two sisters didn't understand basketball and only knew that he scored three field goals. He obviously has nothing to brag about scoring, what about his a.s.sist, buzzer beater or his impact in the game?

His two sisters don't understand basketball, but some people understand his influence throughout the game. On the side lines was a senior scout of Lakers, who came for Jordan Farmar and Matthew Della Torre. However, his eyes were focus on Jayson and filled his notebook with comments towards Jayson's name and things he saw. Jordan Farmar's was written a negative evaluation in his mind.

"He has a big heart, a weak body and not afraid of physical confrontation. He dares to shoot at the crucial moment and has a leaders.h.i.+p on the court". The scout gave him a top rating.

Similar to the scout's evaluation, Shaquille O'Neal who stayed in the treatment room to watch the whole game and gave him evaluation Jayson; "The Lakers should chose these kind point guard":

"The Lakers already have a shooting guard. You don't need another more point guard" Karl Malone; "If this guy can have at least twenty pounds of muscle, I think he'll have a bright future."

"You can trade Kobe" Shaquille O'Neal said.

Karl Malone next didn't care about it and room was quiet but the physical therapist heard it clearly. He has been ordered by the management to pay attention to remarks and activity of each privilege players.

It will not take long for Jerry West to have dialogue with the entire physical therapist in a form of a doc.u.ment on the desk. If ever Shaq can trade Kobe, it can be seen at a glance.

"Jayson, how does it feel to hit a buzzer-beater?

"Is there a feeling like electricity?

"Jayson, after tonight you'll be superstar of Caltech beavers. I also saw a few girls their phone no. to you, the want to see you make a game-winner in bed.

In the shower room, Caltech Beavers teammates have been ridiculing Jayson and he quickly took a shower.

"I said guys I won't be watching Lakers and Spurs game. My sisters are waiting for me in the parking lot. Bye and happy weekend to everyone!!"

Jayson changed his clothes and went out to the parking lot. As he goes out, he found Kobe Bryant doing warm-up starching in the corridor. He didn't intend to talk to him so quickly take two steps and go around him. Kobe's cool voice pa.s.s through him: You have a problem in your shooting style, although you hit a game winner but it doesn't mean you can score every possession.

Jayson stop and look at Kobe; Are you talking about me?

"Your shooting style can be corrected immediately, if you want play professional basketball" Kobe Bryant said; "this reminder is compensation to your ball" not every college student can get an advice from him and turn to go to the other side.

Jayson asks: "Did you wait here for me to say this"

Kobe Bryant cold as ever: "Certainly not"

Jayson just grin and smile at him as went to the parking lot.
