THE STRONGEST PROPHET STARTS HIS ADVENTURE

When morning came, I got up to the room which is just a floor above from the Alchemists Atelier. This room which Yurika herself leads use to was a large room with 2 large beds. It also houses a large bath, because of this we spent the night in such a relaxing place.

According to Yurika, she reserved this room for us for about 2 weeks so we're free to use it as long as we want. Although we're thankful for her offer, I don't think we'll be staying that long. While thinking of that, I saw Rinne sleeping at the other bed.

“Fumya, sensei… So hot…”

She mumbled while hugging her blankets⸺the usual Rinne should be awake by now since she's an early bird. She must be tired from our journey yesterday after leaving the Other World. Let's leave her to sleep for now.

(Now then, what should I do today?)

Leaving aside the sleepy Rinne, I'll plan today's itinerary and organize the information I collected in my head while I'm at it. Last night after we we're guided to our room, we had a meal with Yurika in the ground floor of the Alchemist Atelier. That's where I learned that one of my apprentice, Mel, who is currently the president of Magic University and is still working in the Magic University's branch.

(That's just perfect… I'll go and drop by to say h.e.l.lo before leaving this city.)

There's quite a distance to get to the branch school and you'd need to tread some arable and grazing lands, residential areas, and forests. However, this isn't such a big deal because I have planned this journey like so. After all, with this I can start my journey from this city as an “adventurer.”

(I haven't decided when we should go.)

I'll be sure to go and drop by her place before I leaved the city.

「I want to introduce Mel and Rinne to each other…」

I muttered to myself.

「Fuwaa⸺」

Rinne's eyes opened up as she tries to sit up on the bed.

「Oh, you're up.」

「Hmm⸺」

She looked around the room with blank eyes until her eyes suddenly widened.

「I-I'm very sorry! I got up so late⸺」

Rinne got up from her bed and wiped the edges of her mouth with her eyes still halfway opened. I shook my head at her after seeing the funny way she woke up.

「You don't have to apologize, you can take things easy.」

We haven't planned anything to do, so for now she can just go back to sleep but it seems that Rinne's face looked disappointed.

「No, for me to mess up as a member of the faction of apprentices who wishes to serve sensei…」

「I don't think such a thing as a faction exists within my apprentices⸺or, don't tell me…」

「I don't know, but I think it was implied when reading all of those letters you receive.」

Really? I also think there's some of my apprentices who would move like that for me. I don't think I'm getting senile in age and in body that I would need some great care. They don't really need to worry about me that much.

「Un, but I still want to wake up as early as sensei in the future⸺or rather, Eisen-sensei is really amazing. It didn't took a tall in your body and woke up as usual even when we just left the Other World.」

「Is that so? I think it's because I'm accustomed to this or may be it's the difference of our physical strength?」

The only difference between the Human World and the Other World is the concentration of magic contained in the atmosphere. This has caused aging to fail and sometimes, you'll find the flow of time kind of strange since day and night came in opposite course.

Going back and forth between the two worlds might destort your biological clock but it doesn't seem to affect me at all. When I slept for some time, I can get up in the right time like when the sun rises, I got up right away⸺it's as simple as that. It's all because I got accustomed with the time of when the sun rises.[1]

「Perhaps you've been too tired from yesterday that you couldn't get up as early as usual. Your biological clock was distorted after traveling to another world. When fatigue overcomes you, this is the usual case that happens.」

I told her that this is just my theory but there's still a high probability that this what's happening to her.

「Eisen-sensei was more active than me and even used magic but… if I can't endure fatigue then I think this was due to Eisen-sensei's strong physical strength.」

Rinne sigh and dropped her shoulders.

「…and here I thought that I've finally trained my body after living with sensei but it seems I need to build up my lack of physical strength. But leaving aside sensei's great endurance to fatigue, I must work on my own strength to match sensei!」

Rinne mused while clasping her hands. Well, it looks like she's feeling better now. Building your strength isn't a bad thing so I hope she do her best. Anyway, it seems that she's awake now for her to be able to speak this much.

「Right, now that you're awake Rinne, we should go around the city after having some breakfast.」

「Yes, let's start our adventure, sensei!」

Seeing Rinne smiling ruefully made me crack a smile too. With this, our adventure now starts.
