Naveen looked at her and patted her head gently "You did great back there."

She smiled "Are you sure ? I was so nervous and I was afraid that I might over step my boundaries".

The car sped off and Shriya continued "Thankfully you and Abhi acted according to the script, if something went wrong I would have lost my face and I was more afraid of causing disgrace to Abhi with my stupidity".

Looking at her tensed face Naveen couldn't help but laugh. He flickered her forehead with his fingers and said "It's okay, silly girl"

She rubbed her forehead with her palm and said with a pout "why do you always do this. It hurts."

He smiled and commented "It has become a habit now".

She smiled and said "Varun bhai used to do that often and I always used to complain about it to my parents which they obviously ignored. He never listened and he even used to say the same excuse as you 'It has become a habit'." A wise smile appeared on her face when she spoke.

He looked at her with his one hand on the steering wheel and the other on the hand gear. He smiled and she continued "Now you are doing this and so does Abhi." She gave out a sigh.

Naveen looked at her but didn't say anything. She asked "Do you think I did the correct thing back there. I mean me involving business affairs ?"

Naveen concentrated ahead on the road and asked "Even I am curious about it. Why did you involve yourself there. I could guess that she must be the one who provoked you but how and why ?".

She sighed "No she didn't provoke me. She had a fight with Gouthami."

And then she explained everything and he nodded in understanding. She said "I feel lame, I didn't distinguish between personal and business issues."

He nodded "That's true. But you can take it as a lesson so that you will not repeat the same in future".

They reached the college and the day was full busy with cla.s.ses. During lunch when Sony heard what happened that morning she couldn't help but sigh and commented "It's sure very difficult to date a celebrity. I feel pity for you".

Shriya looked at her and rolled her eyes and said with her words full of sarcasm "As if your man isn't in entertainment industry".

Sony countered "Atleast he don't have so many crazy fangirls." She was smiling with relief and peace when she said those words.

Shriya countered "You are underestimating him". These girls were fighting while both Naveen and Brahmini ignored their silly fight and started being all lovey dovey and enjoying the sweet moments.

Sony said with confidence "I can bet my life. No one other than me can tolerate his coldness. Stubborn iceberg". With that her lips twitched and there was some depression on her face.

Brahmini spoke to Shriya "Actually you eliminated your three enemies in three consecutive days. It must be a hard for you. I wonder how many more love rivals of you are there out there. Stay strong girl". She had an encouraging smile and Shriya sighed helplessly.

That evening Naveen wanted to talk to Shriya so he asked for a coffee. They went to the same coffee shop which they went last time and sat in one corner.

Shriya asked sipping on the coffee "So what is it ?".

He came straight to the point "First I have a doubt. When I went to collect your things yesterday, I saw a photo of you and Varun on the wall. Where did you get it ?"

Shriya looked at Naveen and said with a smile "I don't know. Abhi brought it and after presenting it to me only, he proposed to me".

Shriya then asked with doubt "How did you know it was Bhai in the photo ?". Naveen thought only for a moment and said with a smile "Silly girl, Other than Abhi you won't be so close to someone else. Moreover you are so young back then. Is it that hard to guess ?".

She didn't give it much thought and smiled. Naveen then said "I heard your engagement is on 14 th of February, on valentine's day."

She looked at him and replied as a matter of factly "I don't know the date. He said he didn't fix the exact date".

Naveen sighed and said "Pay attention some more attention to it girl, afterall it's a very important day for you."

She said "You take care of it as you are the big brother of mine. He said with a guilty face "I might not be present that day with you?" and she immediately asked "Why ?" and she looked frustrated.

Naveen smiled and said "I have an important engagement with my family".

Shriya looked at him and she pouted. It was clear that she was mad and he said "I will try my level best tobe there. If boss orders me I have to be there no matter what. So I want you to convince him. Help this poor brother".

She looked at him with her eyebrows raised and he said "Believe me. I will try to complete my work early and be there. Take Brahimini with you first".

She nodded and he said "Let's go home" and they left and he said on his way "I will be staying at condo during nights and won't follow you anymore. So don't wander around randomly during night. Recently you offended so many people so stay safe and call me or Abhi whenever you feel something is wrong".

She looked at him curiously and with confusion im her eyes and he said "Don't worry, but be careful".

Though she didn't understand what he was trying to say, she nodded her head like an obedient girl and he patted her head gently.
