He looked at her and nodded his head to see what this little girl has to say to him. He thought to himself "If you told something silly or pulled a prank on me again, I swear to myself to kill you right that moment".

She said leaning against the headboard of the bed "You know I used to live at a school hostel before I got hospitalized"

He nodded and said "Yes, I remember brother saying that to me once".

She said "It is one of the cheapest residential schools in Mumbai with low tuition and accommodation fees though the fee is big enough for someone like my elder sister."

"The kids there were mostly people like me with similar backgrounds. Brought up by single mothers, single fathers or some financially low background parents. The school got funds from some business people and some big shots."

"I used to have a friend who is elder than me by four years. Her mother is a single mother who works as a receptionist in a small company or a hotel".

"Before she got into our school she along with her mother used to live with her uncle. But that man is a complete douchbag. Her mother thought him as a good man and placed her daughter's responsibility in his hands. But he showed his vicious nature."

"He used to take advantage of that girl whenever he got a chance and he did a few nasty things which he... He is a complete monster".

Rahul was a bit shocked and he saw how pained her expression thinking about that. He looked at her not knowing what to say. He thought for a while but in the end decided to keep his mouth shut and listen to her completely.

She looked at him and she hesitated seeing his serious expression. He looked at her with a slight nod for her to continue and to show that he was listening to her.

He also wanted to know what happend to her before. He knew a bit about Shriya's life before coming to his brother but they had no idea about this little girl except for the fact that she used to stay at a hostel and was later hospitalized with appendicitis.

She always looked all adorable and smart for her age and gave a beautiful and joyous atmosphere to this big Mansion.

She said "He used to touch her inappropriately and she complained to her mom and the latter asked her brother about this and you know what he said...".

"He told her to just shut up if they want to stay there. He also emphasized that how other men are like out there and what might happen to them if they are not under their protection."

Rahul couldn't help but swear after he heard her "That " and Preeti smiled "Language man".

He calmed down and asked "What happend ?" and she continued "But her mother took a big step and moved out from there. She searched for a job where they provided for accommodation and admitted her daughter in our school."

"That girl is very sweet and is like a elder sister to me. When she said this, I couldn't take it and when I remembered something it hurt me more".
