Pratap looked at his daughter and said "Okay fine. But try tobe quite. Tomorrow I have an important engagement and I don't want to get disturbed."

Sony smiled and said placing a bear hug to her father "Thanks dad. Love you" and army back to her room and Mr. Pratap smiled at her dotingly.

Next day

Shriya was in her shower when Abhi walked inside the bathroom just in his boxers. She looked at him and he stood infront of the mirror with his tooth brush in his mouth.

There was only a gla.s.s door between them and she blushed. She yelled at him "Can't you wait ?".

He looked at her and she tried to cover her naked body with her hands. He said "You didn't lock the door and thought you were expecting me to join".

She glared at him and when he saw her covering herself with her tiny fingers he said with a mischievous smile "There's nothing I didn't see dear. So relax. And I have placed a packet on the bed. Go take it and wear them".

She shook her head knowing that it will be useless to argue with him. She just pulled the transparent curtain and continued with her business.

When she came out she saw him ready in his tracks and he was wearing his wrist watch.

Seeing her there in a bathrobe he took the packet and gave it to her. She opened it and saw few sets of Lakers ( Dress code for basket ball players).

He said "I remembered you guys don't have suitable clothes for practice and asked my a.s.sistant to pick a few. I got a few more sets so give them to your friends too as they must not have had them afterall it all happened in a hurry and you guys didn't get time to shop."

She changed and they both walked out hand in hand. She asked "Where are you going ?" to which he replied "well I need to go for a run and then to a gym."

After having a gla.s.s of milk each and some dry fruits they walked out. Naveen was waiting for her already and seeing her ready he smiled.

She went to him and hugged him greeting him 'good morning'. Abhi walked behind her and Naveen greeted his boss with respect and the latter just nodded in aknowgement. Naveen looked a bit relieved when she hugged him unlike last night.

After boarding the car Naveen asked Shriya "Do you mind if we pick Brahmini up with us ?".

She looked at him and asked "Will you stop if I say 'no' ?".

He was silent for a moment and asked "Well it depends?"

She was surprised to hear that. She expected "No" from him and wanted to annoy and tease him.

She asked with curiosity "On ?" and he said "If you are my sister or my best friend, then I am going to pick her up even if you said no. But if you are my boss madam then I will not pick her up".

She smiled and mumbled "Emotional blackmailer" and he smiled at her comment.

They picked Brahmini up and went straight to Sony's house. It was their first time there and even before they could ring the bell for light on the porch lit up and Sony opened the door.

Naveen grinned saying "Don't open the door to just anyone silly." She ignored his comment saying "Then you get out. You guys come in."

They chuckled and walked in. Shriya and Brahmini looked at the house and said in unison "You have a pretty house" to which she smiled.

They walked into Sony's room and Shriya stood there watching all the paintings on the wall and also pictures of her.

Sony asked "You already came ready". Shriya nodded and said "Abhi brought some clothes and asked to give them to you."

The girls squealed and Naveen gave out a sigh of annoyance. He said "Well, get changed first and come out in five minutes." With that he walked out of the room and Sony called out behind him "Wait for us in the living room".

After a few minutes they all walked out and saw Naveen sipping on the tea nervously. They saw Sony's mom walking out of the kitchen with biscuits in a plate. She smiled at them but didn't say anything.

Shriya and Brahmini greeted her and only after a few minutes they went to the court. It was only a few minutes walk from there and soon they stared vigorous practicing.

Naveen didn't go easy on them though they were freshers and new to it. They are dead stressed and tired and they had to drag their exhausted bodies to Sony's house.

When they reached home both Sony's parents were not at home. They had breakfast which the maid prepared for them and changed and left for college all in one car.

Abhi sent a text to his woman "Had breakfast ?" and she sent "Yes. You?"

He sent a "Yes". After that they went to their respective cla.s.ses and they almost slept in all the cla.s.ses because of exhaustion.

After college they again had to go to practice and Naveen is head strong about the strict practice.

Even during lunch they talked about the practice and the strategies for the game. Abhi asked her to wait at Sony's place and said he will pick her up.

Both Sony and Shriya were busy doing their homework when Mr. Pratap entered the room with a smile.
