The Phoenix Hero 1 Pause

If you're a constant reader of The Phoenix Hero and care about Leon and his journey, please read this.

Most of you know I have exams right now, I've been nagging about it for a while. These exams can be considered as my college exams. That means they will decide my future. Even though I aspire to be a writer, I still need a backup plan.

At first, I was able to upload even with my exams. I just had to spend an hour at most to write a chapter. Things were going smooth and well. However, I must admit that the earlier chapters weren't well planned. I changed my plot line and tried something new. I rushed things without seeing the bigger picture. This was a newbie author mistake.

I believe I can do better than this. The story pace, world building, character design, and writing style are all things that were foreign to me when I wrote The Phoenix Hero. I didn't really think ahead, and I just kept writing.

I don't regret it. Starting to write my own novel was probably the best decision I made. I always had zero to no hobbies that I truly enjoy. However, writing was different. I enjoy it.

Thus, I'm bringing The Phoenix Hero to a pause. I want to rewrite this novel from scratch using my best efforts. I want to give Leon a better journey.

Note that I won't be dropping this. I'll be rewriting it after my exams. I hope to do better and that's what I plan to do. The main character will still be the same, our dear handsome Leon. The world setting will be similar but it will change. The storyline will also change but has similarities.

Regardless of how many excuses I give, I apologize. I know my novel isn't liked by everyone. I know it's just a newbie author work. But I love it and respect it. Thus, I plan on finis.h.i.+ng it.
