'Harmony... Why does that word suddenly came up in my mind?' He curiously thought. The truth was he never knew this cryptic symbols and so does the the one before him in this body.

'From the memories, the past Yang Chen didn't wore any ring... then could I have brought this here?' Thinking up to this his eyes went wide as faint memories started surfacing up in his mind.

With that line of thought, he stood up with a jolt. His head striking the ceiling producing a wooden sound. He grunted teeth as he said. "That hurts for f*ck sake!"

"Young Master! What happened!? Are you okay?" It was the voice of Servant Feng. Surprised by the sudden outburst inside the carriage

"Nothing! I'm okay!" Kiel replied back.

Servant Feng had a weird face as he muttered. "What is the young master doing inside? since its nothing then I won't bother anymore..."

Yang Chen fixed himself up in a sitting position with his hands scratching his head to alleviate the pain. He muttered. "I remember... this ring... was inside the necklace!" He felt a Utopia of euphoria as he finally remembered.

During the time the he was blasted from the explosion in the relic site. He remember the scene where his roaring lion shaped jade was also seemingly blasted apart and what came out was a silver ring s.h.i.+ning from the light of the explosion. Grabbing it with his b.l.o.o.d.y hands was the last thing he remember before going unconscious as he fell through the darkness.

"So this ring came along with me as I transmigrated here? Or could it be... that this ring brought me here?" Yang Chen himself also couldn't believe the things he was saying but with how things are, it kept bugging him in his mind that the ring might have something to do with his situation.

He muttered. "Okay.. let's say that this ring is the cause of this situation... then whats the use of this?" The more he kept thinking the more his head hurts.

He caressed his chin with his eyes turning into slits. He muttered. "ring... ring...' His gaze bored into his spatial bag and slowly his eyes brightened. He slap his thigh saying in delight. "Spatial Ring! don't tell me that this is a spatial ring. It must be... Since I'm in a world where cultivators greatly revered then is this what they call a fortuitous encounter!"

His eyes s.h.i.+ning and his mouth started to drool. He continued. "If that's the case, then will I be able inherit something awesome that would lead me to the top?" His heart was br.i.m.m.i.n.g with excitement.

But thinking about his family back on earth, their memories acted as a cold water pouring over his ignited heart. He said frustration. "So what If I have those kinds of inheritance... it doesn't solve the puzzle that would lead me back to earth..."

His body felt heavy and laid in his back, He felt his new found resolution was all bulllsh*t His eyes starting to dim. "I may have accept this body but I don't know what to do... I'm clueless about this world and so does the first Yang Chen... All I know that this is a world where cultivators prosper, heck we both don't even know what the true purpose of cultivation."

He thought of the memories of the first Yang Chen, All his life he was bullied and looked down, feeling the hatred and humiliation that was being kept deep inside along with the resolution and bright dreams Yang Chen had before he came. He said in realization. "cultivate to gain power huh?"

Although it was right, he felt a lot conflict deep in his heart. He said in dispirited manner. "I know I promised since I'm stuck here but... what about my family back on earth... I may achieve power here, but I don't get to use it to protect them... Will I never see my wife and daughter again? Will I never be Kiel anymore and just be Yang Chen..."

He sighed in depression. "I'm so clueless... we're both useless... You, me, Kiel, Yang Chen, we're both useless..."

For the whole journey he swallowed in bitterness and frustration. Servant Feng became worried seeing his looks. Servant Feng thought. 'The young master must be down from being sent away from the sect.'

But servant Feng couldn't do anything. No matter how tried to console him, he would just brush his advises and wallow in depression.

He could only pray in his mind that in the incoming days, his young master would come out of his downcast self an be the old him again.

...........

They finally arrived at the ma.s.sive and prosperous Cloud Valley City of the region of Yenmen. It was like the Heavenly Mountain City. Though it might not be big but it was more bustling than it. The roads were wide with many merchant carriages coming around. There were also many people from different powers, there were even disciples of Heavenly Mountain Sect. At every corner there were booming sop from different industries selling their goods. It was a quite sight but Kiel couldn't admire it due to being bounded by his depression.

Servant Feng maneuvered the carriage towards the destination. It was a seven story building with a sign board hanging on the front entrance with the words Yang Pavilion.

Servant Feng got down and knocked on the carriage and softly said. "Young master, we have arrived at our destination."

Seconds later a yawn was heard and door was opened. Kiel came out with dark circles under his dim eyes. He said in a low voice. "So this is were i'm gonna stay now huh..."

It wasn't bad, there were a lot people coming in and out of the building. The pavilion was blooming in sales. Kiel continued in a lazy voice. "Well... its not that bad... Let's go inside."

Kiel and Servant Feng went inside. A woman in a red robed uniform approached them. She wasn't that much of a beauty but she has looks and was quite pleasing in the eye. She said in a bright smile.

"Welcome to the Yang pavilion young master. What can I do to help you?"

Kiel took out a letter, he slightly smiled and said. "I'm here from the orders of the sect. They have a.s.signed me here.

The woman looked at the letter but didn't take it. She said. "Please wait for a moment as I will notify the the supervisor of your arr-"

"There's no need for the supervisor, I'm already here." She wasn't able to finish here words when a deep voice sounded behind them, interrupting her. She looked behind and was surprised for a quick moment before bowing and said in a respectful tone. "Head manager"

It was a red robed man who seems to be in his 40'. He had a long black hair coupled with his beard. He had quite a big build and a bearing befitting of him. He took a step closer and held Kiel's shoulder. He said in a bright voice. "Yang Chen, you've grown up, Do you still remember you'r uncle Huang Jie? Your father had already notified me that you're coming."

Kiel smiled and said. "How could I forget you uncle. that would be rude of me."

Huang Jie laughed and patted his back, He berated in a smile "What are being formal with me for, you stinking brat! come let's go inside and let me show you your quarters. We have a lot of catching up!"

Kiel could only ruefully smile as he endured the pain from his back due to the pat. He complained in his heart. 'Seriously, watch your strength. I'm just someone in the 10th stage of Qi Condensation!" He followed his uncle Huang Jie towards the his room in the 6th floor.

It wasn't too big but it wasn't small either, it was just enough for Kiel's liking. Huang Jie asked in a smile. "How is it brat? You like your new room?"

Kiel nodded his head and said. "Well anything is fine with me. Thank you uncle!"

Huang Jie was pleased with Kiel and said. "I'll have someone bring you food here since I know your're hungry from the journey. After that come up, I would like to catch up with you." With that he didn't bother with Kiel anymore and and showed Feng his room,

Kiel looked around his new room. There were only a wooden bed that suited his size and a drawer for his stuff. He wasn't much picky and was content in his new room.

He laid in his bed and muttered. "So what am I supposed to do here?"
