I felt myself waking up as a soft hum sang through the room, quiet footsteps matching with the hum. My mind didn't recall whoever was humming when I opened my eyes and noticed a bright green figure moving around like a ballerina.

Was that... Nava?

My eyes strained against the darkness around me while her neon green sports bra hugged her tightly revealing some cleavage and her small waist. I watched her hips move around as I noticed her earphones inside her ears.

She hummed with the song she was listening to, her green pants swung with the rhythm of the song while her long black hair hung around her in bouncy, wet curls. The sight of her was purely pleasurable.

That was until I noticed what she was doing.

She placed some lingerie into the empty ch.o.r.e I kept for her, the deep red underwear making my throat go dry.

Was my mate truly trying to torture me...?

I threw her on her back and pressed her down with my aching arms. She stared at me shocked, her earphones still in her ears as she tugged them out quickly and smiled at me shyly.

"You're awake." She simply states while looking over where she was folding her lingerie. "You saw me didn't you...?" Nava asks quieter as I grinned down at her and pressed my head on her shoulder.

"You must be trying to kill me if you thought I wouldn't have noticed you being so... seductive." I point out when she squirmed out of my hold and placed her phone on the nightstand.

"I wasn't trying to be! I was just putting away the things your Mom got me!" Nava defends, clearly embarra.s.sed that I caught her.

"Come on, Nava. Look at what you are wearing. You were trying to seduce me. You don't have to lie." I tease her when getting off the bed and noticing that she took my words to heart.

"I didn't mean to do anything! I wasn't trying to do that! I know you don't want that with me at least not as your first, but I-I got you something!" She dove for my desk when I caught her hand and pulled her towards me making her tumble on me.

Even though it hurt when she hit my shoulder, the look she was giving me concerned me more.

"What do you mean I don't want you to be my first?" I question her, pressing her against me as her expression softened immediately.

"I thought... I thought you wouldn't want to be my mate after everything... I-"

"What makes you think that, Nava? I only want you if you'd let me have you." I told her seriously unsure why she was saying this since she told me how she felt before I cut her free from the chair the a.s.sa.s.sins bond her too.

She told me everything and told me that she wanted to let go of everything rather than wait for her past to come back when we both knew it never would. Thomas had told me that she was afraid of letting both Barack and I down because we both were her mates, but when he told me that she was coming back to me.

"I didn't think you'd still want to be mates." She sniffs, clearly upset as I sighed and wrapped my arms around her tightly.

"Silly. Of course, I do. I was upset and needed time to think but after hearing you coming from me and never actually showing up. Everything inside me made me forget our argument and focus on finding you. Saving you when you couldn't protect yourself is my job. I will always save and protect you whether I am mad at you or not." I promise her, pressing my lips against her damp hair while she held onto me tightly.

"I thought you hated me." She admits when I pulled her away and stared down at her shocked.

"Would someone that hates you do this?" I ask, leaning down and pressing my lips on hers. "Or this?" I ran my hand through her hair, pulling it down and exposing her neck to me. She gasped when I softly kissed the spot between her collarbone and throat. "Maybe this?" Before she realized what I did, I smack her b.u.t.t hard making her gasp and push me away.

"You a.s.shole." She laughed, clearly flushed by my attempts to make her feel loved as she turned away from me and grabbed something from my desk. "I got you something while I was out with your parents. I didn't have time to wrap it up, but here." Nava held a small bag in her hands while I smiled at her and shook my head.

"You don't have to get me anything. You are enough for me." I promise her when she frowned and pushed the bag into my chest.

"Please, Levi? I looked around it for a long time. I'd really appreciate it if you take it. As a symbol of thanks." She mumbles as I frowned and took the bag, sitting down on the bed and motioning for her to sit down with me.

"But I don't have anything for you," I said, not wanting to receive something without the other person getting anything back from me. Especially my mate.

"I didn't get you a gift to get one back." She laughs softly and jumped into bed beside me, motioning to the bag. "Come on! Open it already." She says excitedly when I smiled at her and opened the beg and seeing two pendants.

They were both matching with some kind of Chinese symbols on both of them, the leather band holding the stone shaped pendant was crafted beautifully and I could tell that they were special. I knew that Nava had some story for them because I didn't see her for one to get jewelry for anyone no less me.

But for some reason, I truly loved the matching pendants.

They weren't a girly ugly.

"You don't like them do you?" She asks in a worried tone as I realized I didn't say anything.

"No! I love them both! The craftsmans.h.i.+p on them is beautifully done, but why are there two of them?" I ask her, confused when she smiled brilliantly and grabbing one of them.

"When I was a little girl, my grandma told me that she and her mate shared a wolf's pendant and that she always felt her mate's spirit whether they were close or far apart. He died long before I was born because of my parents, but she always told me that she felt his spirit protecting her." She tells me, her voice raw from talking about her family but she shook it away and grinned at me. "I got matching ones so we could have that same connection as my grandmother and her mate had." She says with an excited tone.

I wasn't sure what to say other than place my hand on her leg in a comforting way. Nava seemed to understand what I was motioning too because she smiled sadly and patted my hand.

"You don't have to wear it if you don't want too. I just thought it would be nice for us to have something together." She shrugs, a little disappointed but not revealing her discomfort.

"No, I want to wear it. Would you feel upset if I made it into a bracelet though? I'd prefer my neck to be bare for your love bites." I said in a teasing tone making her spirits go up as she hit my arm.

"Shut up... And that's actually a better idea than a necklace... For the same reason as well." She comments vaguely when I smirked down at her and took the necklace from her hand.

I slipped the necklace around her wrist before using my magic to make it small enough to fit her wrist but not lose enough to fall off at any moment. The small pendant looked a lot better on her wrist rather than it would be dangling from her neck.

I'd rather have more of her neck to tease her rather than her wrist.

We would have to explore things we like but for now, I was okay with our heated make outs.

I did the same to my necklace, making it tight enough so it was hard to take off but not cutting off circulation. The pendant seemed tiny against my larger wrist but the expression on Nava's face made it all the worth it.

As long as she was happy, I was happy.

"So we are really okay? No troubles between us?" She asks me with a heated look while I chuckled and ran a hand through her hair.

"Of course we are. Why?" I question her as she sat on her knees and pushed me back against the bed.

"I have a few things you can gift me. Some things that only you can do." She purred and straddled my hips making me groan and notice my lack of clothes all of a sudden.

"Like what?" I ask curiously when she narrowed her eyes at me and smiled at me softly.

"I keep forgetting you're new to all of this... It's okay. I'll show you what to do." Nava says bravely, leaning down and kissing my chest lightly. I growled at her darkly, letting her take control even though everything within told me to throw her down and take her like a savage.

"I'm gonna go grab something for us to eat. You lay there like a pretty girl you are." Levi pressed a kiss in between my b.r.e.a.s.t.s making me groan in pressure, the aftermath of my o.r.g.a.s.m still thrumming through me as he stood up and shrugged his pants on.

"Don't go..." I moan when he leaned over and pressed another heated kiss to my lips.

"I'll be back in a few minutes. I promise to just get in and out. I'll be back to finish my job..." He kissed my face several times making me giggle and grab his arms.

"Or you could stay here with me a little bit longer..." I offer to him while he frowned down at me.

"Tempting but you must eat or else you'll have to get the IV again. I don't want that so let me get some food for us and then we can continue." He promises, kissing me again as if he couldn't get enough of my touch. I laughed against his lips before he pulled away reluctantly and left the room, locking it behind him.

I laid my head against the pillows, enjoying how my body tingled at every touch he gave me. It's been so long that I rested in the hands of a man that it felt so nice to be pleasured by a man that I trusted.

"You're welcome, mate." He kissed my shoulder and started eating off his plate while we both took turns eating. We both fed each other bits of our food making each other laugh like lovesick puppies before I placed my empty plate on the nightstand and patted my stomach pleased.

"Mhm. That was so good." I said, leaning my head onto his shoulder as he finished eating and set his plate on top of mine.

"Not as good as you." He nips at the blanket wrapped around my shoulders making me laugh and hug his neck tightly.

"Do you want to have s.e.x?" I ask him out of the blue before he choked on the water he was drinking. My body was responsive to his touch and I knew that it was getting harder and harder for both of us to resist one another.

I was ready if he was.

This was after all his first time and I wanted him to do whatever he wanted to me.

Even if that meant experiments...

"We can take it slow, Levi. I can take the lead for now and you can take over whenever. I promise." I murmur against his shoulder, letting the blankets fall off my shoulders. Levi sucked in a sharp breath as I pressed him against the bed and grabbed his belt.

I was going to make this night magical for him.
