When Madam Ye was still wondering what exactly Ken had said, the attending physician of Ye Enchen walked out of the operating room and said, “Madam Ye, your son, Mr. Ye Enchen, needs blood transfusions, or he may lose his life.”

“What?” Madam Ye’s mind suddenly turned into blank and her body was shaking.

“Mr. Ye Enchen needs blood right now, or he would be in danger.” The doctor emphasized patiently.

“But his blood type is Rh, and it’s hard to find the right match.” The doctor explained.

Madam Ye felt her world was collapsing.

Ye Ranni said, “Mom, Sichen’s blood type is Rh, and only he can save Enchen!”

She sighed.

“…I have to do this to save Enchen…” Madam Ye whispered. Xia Nuan didn’t hear that clearly, but she got the clear message from Ye Ranni that Ye Sichen promised to transfuse blood for Ye Enchen.

As she got the news, she began to worry about Ye Sichen’s health.

She slipped straight into the blood testing room while the doctor was whispering with Ye Sichen. The latter nodded and smiled gently.

After hearing the voice of Xia Nuan, Ye Sichen stopped smiling and looked at her.

The doctor took a medical tray and left at the right moment.

“It’s just a beginning.” Ye Sichen stopped. Then he pulled out a piece of paper and wiped his hands slowly.

Xia Nuan’s face was flushed. She zipped up when she heard a knock on the door.

Ye Sichen helped her with the hem of the wedding dress and then opened the door.

Ken stood outside.

Ye Sichen whispered to Ken, and then they left.

Ye Enchen was isolated. The doctor suggested Madam Ye to go back and have a rest. Under the persuasion of Ye Ranni, Madam Ye followed the doctor’s advice. Xia Nuan sat there alone and stared at the ICU.

“Guess you are not sincere to take care of my brother. Why don’t you go back with us?” Ye Ranni suggested.

After Ye Sichen finished transfusion, and Ye Enchen’s life was out of danger. Xia Nuan saw Ye Sichen walking out of the blood sampling room. She walked toward him, “Are you OK?”

“Don’t worry.” They sat side by side.

Xia Nuan came to the water dispenser and got him a cup of water, “I think it’s necessary for you to be hospitalized, or you can’t stand it.”

“It’s unnecessary.” Ye Sichen took the cup and said, “It’s late, you should go home and take a rest.”

“You’d better go home. I will stay here.” Xia Nuan walked toward the ICU.

Xia Nuan had no choice but to hold him out of the hospital. It was daybreak outside. The reporters had already left. She got relaxed, but felt strange.
