Versatile: Alternate World 87 Chapter 87

The sky of Alternate World is now on the phase of Night mode when I arrived in front of Almira's Blacksmith Shop. I opened the door and saw Almira sipping tea on her usual spot.

"Your late, I've been waiting for two hours before you arrived. I already finished the item," Almira grumbled as she stares daggers on me.

"I'm sorry," I scratched my head. F*ck, I don't have the ability to be challenge Almira on a battle and provoking and making her angry is a very bad idea.

"Hmph, thankfully, your ore that you brought me earlier exceeded my expectations so I will forgive you. Follow me inside and I'll show you the finished products," Almira said before putting the teacup on its saucer and stood up from her chair.

My ears p.r.i.c.ked up after hearing something strange on her words.

"Products? You created more than one item?" I asked.

"Oh, that is right, that ore was quite a good quality and when I smelted it, it gave a good amount of materials to make a weapon that it gets to have small leftovers left after making the weapon. It was quite q waste if I throw it away so I decided to make a miscellaneous item from it," she explained before we arrived and stopped on a table.

On the table, there was a long but thin green spear. It looks really thin that you might think that when you use it for stabbing, it would get cracked instead of serving as a good and lethal weapon. Almira picked it up and started explaining it.

"I call this spear, the Poison Tip. It might look very thin than the usual spear but it is st.u.r.dier twice than normal. Just like its name implies, its a poisonous weapon that can inflict poison. Here, check it out," Almira handed out the spear to me for me to check.

Flexibility - Can bend at will without breaking, can also extend and retract like a rubber whenever the user wanted.

Pure Poison - poisons enemies with 100% precision. Can poison even monsters and players immune to poison.

Description: A spear made by the Great Blacksmith Almira after being hit by a flash of inspiration. Specially made from the Ore that came from the Green Spider Queen's leg remains.

Restricted to: Paladins, Versatile

I rubbed my eyes twice. I don't understand the value of its attack so I looked at Almira who is currently grinning.

"I know what you want to ask about, the attack value right? It is a unique attack value. It originally have 100 attack power but once you multiply it with your current level, then the weapon will gain power that grows with the user. Its very practical for players who wanted to have a weapon that doesn't need to be replaced once they reached a certain level," Almira proudly explained.

I marveled at the Spear quite a lot. I never expected that the weapon is quite unique in terms of weaponry! If I let my Versatile Weapon devour this weapon, will it also have the possibility to earn the same power of this spear?

As I marveled the spear more, I suddenly caught my eye into an item in the table. This must be the item that Almira made after gaining leftover materials from the ore. I picked it up and noticed that it was a ring. I didn't notice it at first glance due to its peculiar look of looking like a twig branch being coiled.

"Poison Absorbing Ring"

Equippable at level 100

Special:

1.Poison Absorb- poisons don't work well against the wearer of this ring. Converts poison attacks into health.

2. Poison Enhancement- enhances poison attacks making it more effective than usual.

Rarity: Unique

Description: A ring that lacks stats but has a very useful ability. Made by the Great Blacksmith Almira from leftover materials from the ore made from the Green Spider Queen's leg remains.

Restricted to: All Cla.s.s

Bound: Bladeheart

Oh sh*t. It might lack stats but it is a freaking G.o.dly ring! I never expected to see a ring that nullifies and converts Poison damage into health! What is more, it enhances poison attacks up on a notch, perfectly compatible with the Poison Tip!

Unfortunately I need to be at level 100 to equip this accessory.

"So, what is your plan?" Almira sips her tea that she brought with her as she stares at me.

I was torn, I wanted to let the Versatile Weapon to obtain poison ability but the flexibility skill is quite good too. It was like using a jelly that can turn into a metal pole back and forth whenever I wished. If that is the case, wouldn't his swords and other weapons turn out like rubber but very lethal metal instead? The Versatile Weapon is quite difficult to handle and if it devours the Poison Tip, the attack power that only grows with the owner of the Poison Tip won't be added to the Versatile Weapon and would get overwritten by the Versatile Weapon's stats. Also, the poison ability of this weapon. From what I can see, the Versatile Weapon can copy only one skill of a weapon and if the weapon consumed has two or more skills, the user has to choose which skill will be implanted. If I choose Flexibility ability, the poison ability will be no longer available. The Pure Poison special of the Poison Tip can poison enemies even to players and monsters that are immune or not affected by poisons like Golems and Venomous enemies like the Green Spiders. Now I am torn on what to do.

I shook my head and unsheathed the Versatile Weapon and pointed it towards the Poison Tip.

"I can't keep on using the Poison Tip and it would be really a bother if I have to keep on switching items in my inventory just to equip it. I shall devour it," I firmly said.

"Alright, that is your choice, I had no problems with that, only that I made the design to exquisite and it would be a waste if you just devour it," Almira was kind of dejected. Of course since she took pride of her works and I blatantly made her weapon look inferior on my G.o.d Tier Weapon.

"Nah, don't worry, the Customization Appearance Panel can handle that, it can copy a look of a weapon before it was devoured and use it as the appearance of my spear if used. or just create an entirely new look," I explained and activated the Customization Appearance Panel. When I was still on the process of making the Terraform Sword look, I saw a Copy b.u.t.ton on the panel. I thought that it allows to copy and paste designs like copy pasting in the computer, however, it ended different and instead, it can let me copy an existing design of a weapon to imprint on the Versatile Weapon. So if I liked an original design of the weapon, I can copy it and use it as the main design of that weapon. For now, only the Magic Sword form has a good design while the other forms of the weapon are still stuck on a Ryloz form so having another design like this exquisite spear would be lovely.

"Copy!"

The Versatile Weapon glow bright green and slowly, the form of the sword turned into a spear similar to the Poison Tip. Soon, the Versatile Weapon became identical to Poison Tip. All the designs and the small intricate patterns were all copied perfectly. Almira look at my sword in marvel.

"Wow, the blacksmith who made this weapon must be on legendary or G.o.d level to create a weapon like this!" Almira exclaimed.

I look at the new look of the spear and smiled. I also puck up the Poison Tip and compare it. Whatever you do comparing, you can't tell apart which is the real Poison Tip.

"I'm sorry Almira, I will only give you another ore like that earlier so that you can make another one," I said to her.

Almira sighed dejectedly and finished her tea.

"Alright, I have no choice if that is your decision. Anyways, you should give me an ore similar to that alright?" Almira raised her eyebrow as she stare at me.

"Yeah," I nodded to her before I pointed the Versatile Weapon to the Poison Tip.

"Devour!"
