We spent about an hour or so arguing. I sent my thoughts to Mileena. Telling her I wanted to talk with her, Riku, and Hotshot. I was more or less ignored. She acknowledged me but didnt say much.

"You are getting too serious about this!" Jaina yelled at me. "Your personal feelings of the man should not get in the way of keeping him."

"Yeah yeah, I heard you earlier stop yelling already," I said calmly to her. "It is my choice, not yours."

We were in my Nether World sitting on the porch. They were sitting. Me and Jaina were talking. Before me was Techlis from Warhammer Fantasy. I absolutely loved using him in my army when I played. His back story was great. Then the End Times happened. He sacrificed his niece because that b.i.t.c.h goodess told him to. When I pulled him earlier the memories came flooding back. It was great fuel for fighting. I was tempted to use Slannesh on him. But that would have resulted in a lot of my troops getting killed by the Tyrannids.

"I did what I thought was right," Techlis said just staring at me. He looked at me with no remorse. "I cant change what I have done. But I can move forward."

"Grrr, I rather you not." My wolf was feeding off my feelings. It was becoming stronger. It didnt help we both wanted to hurt the man.

"Anybody, help me out here!" Jaina said to the others.

"Galtea what do you think?" Maldova asked.

"I told him already to let it go," Galtea said sounding defeated. "He is stubborn as you have seen and won't change his mind easily."

"My Khan maybe you should let it go as well," Mileena said. She was eating seeds and spitting them into a bucket. I couldn't tell if she was practicing or not for something. "He did help you fight against the Tyrannids. If he is willing to fight by your side, I do not see a reason to not allow him to stay." Mileena shrugged and went back to eating.

I stepped off the porch and was getting ready to walk around my Nether World. I hadn't explored it enough.

"Stop!" Jaina said placing her hand on my shoulder. I tilted my head to the side and waited for her to speak. My pyscho power started rising for some reason. "This needs to be solved now!" She yelled.

"It will be. I haven't decided what I wanted to do with him yet." I started to walk again but her grip tightened on me. "Let go, you are starting to p.i.s.s me off Jaina."

"Stop acting like an a.s.shole then!" I pushed her off with my biotics. Softly considering how charged I was.

Jaina only moved slightly then I felt it. "Smack!" She gave me a resounding smack across the face. "You are acting like Arthas!"

That did it. My wolf and psycho power synced up and my anger boiled over. I took a few steps back to get some distance between us. That did not help.

"Grrr," I changed to my Laguz form. My energy sending shockwaves out. Galtea placed a barrier in front protecting everyone. "You compare me to.. to that traitor!" I didnt mind having been called an a.s.shole. There was truth in that. But to be compared to that monster! That was something I couldn't tolerate.

Mileena transformed into a cat Laguz opposite of me. She stared me down. "Stop my Khan! You dont want to do this!"

"Grrr," I just growled at her. I turned and looked at the rest on the porch. Out of the blue, another wolf jumped out. It was Alita. Her posture was that of a challenge.

"What the h.e.l.l is wrong with you!?" Alita glared at me causing my hackles to rise. She was challenging me alright.

"You challenge me! In my own Nether World?!" My soul power even felt wronged. Slowly it leaked out causing my anger to get under control. It didnt try to get rid of it. Just made sure I didnt misuse it.

"Yes!" Alita jumped forward at me. I didnt move away. Instead, I went to a crouch and pounced. Sending a concussive shot at her chest. The recoil caused me to backflip.

"Whimper," Alita took the blow without any real defense. I saw her change back immediately to a humanoid state. It was Kasumi!

"What the h.e.l.l were you thinking?!" I said as I already started healing her with my magic. My Pather power washed over her and told me what I wanted to know. She wanted to see if I would kill her after the fact. "Stupid girl!" Allways testing and teasing people.

"Heh, gotcha looking worried about me though!" Kasumi reached out and grabbed my muzzle. "Glad you didnt lose control. Probably could did this in a better way. But had to show them you were in control. Dont be mad at me, blame Alita."

'Way yo throw me under the bus.' Alita thought to me directly. 'A very big bus at that.'

Reaching out I focus my soul power to make sure she was healed completely. Besides a broken collarbone that was injured previously, she was in top health.

"Do not do that again," I told her.

"Hup," Kasumi hopped up and smiled. "No promises. I want to take you for a ride later." Realizing what she said, fl.u.s.tered she corrected herself. "Not in that way. Like you were a horse. Is that rude?"

"No. We can find time to do that later." I turned and walked until I felt a blast hit my shoulder. "Are .. you serious?" Jaina shot me.

With a wave of my hand, I sent a shockwave at her. It was stopped by Maldova. "So I get slapped and it's ok. Then shot its ok." But she gets to do all this!?" I just wanted to go relax and enjoy time a little bit. Was that asking too much?

'You would have seriously hurt her just then." Maldova said seriously. "You are stronger here than out there. As well the fact you are not controlling yourself."

"I am in control that's why I was walking away before I lost it."

"Azul fight me!" Jaina said. Then I felt it. She was upset about me knocking her out at the battle. Insulted about the way I conducted the battle. She felt I did her injustice. Treating her like Arthas did to her.

Covering herself in magic she was ready to fight. Seeing me not making a move p.i.s.sed her off. She raised her hand a several ice projectiles fired off at me. Not dodging I took each one.

Health -127

They hurt. Quite powerful but not the worse I ever felt. Raising her hands she summoned a giant Ice Storm that solely focused on me.

"Biotic s.h.i.+elding," I said as felt I built enough energy for a stronger version. The icicles rained down and pierced my s.h.i.+elds. I looked at them before focusing a little biotic energy. Flinging them away, my s.h.i.+eld closed back up. I looked over to see Jaina had summoned her Guyver unit. "Oh, use the armour that was meant to protect you on me. How freaking great. Yah know there is a name for women like you!"

She had her hands over the chest cavity and pried it open. The combined energy mixed magic and psyker power would be devastating.

"Have you lost your mind?!" I yelled at her. She didn't respond as the beam fired out. Redirecting my energies completely forward I took the blow. I didnt know how much of my Nether World had developed behind me. "You idiot!"

As I held the energy back I latched on absorbing the power. Powering a Concussive Shot I fired it from above.

"Boom!" The beam stopped as I looked to see Jaina was fine behind a magical s.h.i.+eld. The Guyver suit retraced as she mumbled a spell. Another Ice storm started, but this time it was bathed in psychic energy.

As storm rained down. I ran through the shards and arrived by Jaina. She was waiting for me. I saw the symbol on the ground and watch to my horror as she used the Geyser spell I did previously. As the torrent of water came up, I rode the water. Using my own runic magic, I healed myself.

While in the air I cast a Water Rain. The several thin needles rained down heading right for her. 'Adrenaline Rush. Cycle Up, Dash.' Using them each on myself, I ran down the air using the droplets of water for foot holds. I caught Jaina in the middle of a spell. Right before it formed I head-b.u.t.ted her.

"Ugh," She groaned as she lost her footing.

"Overlord's Fury!" I said with a force that welled up from inside. Giant wolf paws formed around my shoulders.

"Azul, stop!" I heard Maldova say. Sparing her a glance I started to stop my attack.

"Arroo," Jaina howled as she turned into a wolf about the size of Alita.

'So this is what my Laguz blood was reacting towards.' Standing there I watched as she snarled at me. That is when I noticed it. She was not in control of it.

"Mental Cleansing," I focused on her and watched as her intelligence returned. Seeing her calm down I thought it was over. I was wrong.

My hackles started to rise so I cast my s.h.i.+eld once again. "Ping," it was instantly broken as several ice spikes pierced the ground and stabbed me. Two in my chest and one in my stomach.

"Grr," needless to say my wolf was p.i.s.sed. "Heal, Cure, Regen." I casted one after the other. Swinging Overlord's Fury down I watched as her body went limp.

"Bam, thump," she reverted back to her human form. She was confused about why I didnt trust her in the battle. I thought I did. I just didnt think she understood how dangerous that world was. Its laws just.. were different. Stating at me I was at a loss. I told her what I believed about the battle.

"I did it to protect you. Magic power and Psyker powers are different. They work the same for me but not for you. I didnt think about it. I just thought you would have understood that." I started to reach out to heal her. I stopped when I felt the anger. "Yah know what.. this...this is .. more trouble than its worth. I won't coddle you anymore. I though a 100 different ways to help you get through what all happened to you. I gave you a job that I thought you would excel in. I gave you s.p.a.ce as needed. I dont know what else to do Jaina. Talk to me!"

"There isn't anything to say." Jaina turned away from me. I could feel a weird gnawing motion in the pit of my stomach.

I shook my head. I didnt want to keep her just because I like her as a character. "Ha," I let out a sigh that felt just right. "I won't keep you just because I like you. I won't send Techlis away just because I dont like him anymore. No matter how much I want to." I opened up my interface and looked at the option to send Jaina away.

"Stop!" Galtea pushed me down onto the ground. She was extremely heavy. "Do not do it." She sat up and stared down at me. "Just leave it for now. Please." Her eyes containing some different messages. But something kept her from speaking any of them.

"Alright." I moved the interface away and left my Nether World. Arriving back in Ma.s.s Effect I went to work with Sophia. Something instantly calmed me down. The synch between me and that body was perfect. Then I remembered that this was the other half my brain was always controlling. I felt completely at ease now.

We chatted for a bit before leaving to a meeting that was called. Along the way, I became very aware of Sophia's body. Painfully aware.
