As the start of the trial both of the opposing lawyers gave their opening statements .

Carah address the members of the jury .

"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, we are hereby gathered to witness the unfolding of the trial of people of the republic versus Joshua Chen for the case of ****, attempted murder . alleged manhandled, hara.s.sment both s.e.xual and physical and oral defamation against Miss Zyrine Tan . I and my team are ready to support every accusations by the accuser, Miss Zyrine to the accused Joshua Chen . We hope that whatever will be your conviction will be, is in the pursuit of truth and uphold justice for all .

The next was the defendant's opening statement . Carah observed the proceedings and her teammates as well as taking notes .

The first witness was called and was cross examined by both parties then followed by another then another until the judge announced for a recession of the trial . Later the date of the next hearing, the hearing is adjourned .

As the people get out of the court room . The party of the accused met with the team if Carah in the lobby of the court . They were swarmed by the number of reporters waiting .

Some asked pertinent questions but one particular reporter asked a very malicious question to which Zyrine was disgusted . She suspected as one paid by Josh's father .

"Miss Zyrine Why are you accusing your boyfriend of ****?, isn't it just to asked for compensation for the pleasure you experienced . And to think that both of you enjoyed it . "

it was met by numerous reactions .

"That's enough ! my client is not obliged to answer your impertinent queries . " Carah barred the reporters as her team ushered Zyrine to the waiting car .

"Aren't you just s.h.i.+elding your client Miss Ho, not to spill the truth I gather that prior to the alleged **** they were romantically involve . how much were you offered to defamed The Chen . " the reporter retorted .

"Romantically involve or not, once there were no no consent of either party on the act, it is considered **** . I wonder how you gather your reports to be unbiased . " she gave him a scornful look and walked away, the reporter paled into silence .

She was surprised when she reached her car someone was waiting for her .
