Gourmet Emperor: Master Of Culinary World 168 Before Lunch Star

I back to my room to change my suit and having lunch with our guest. When I enter the room, I see Clara and Claire already return from their duty helping my fiancé with our bathing style.

"Oh Henry…welcome back"

"h.e.l.lo girls, how's the bathing going?"

"It's going well, Henry…your fiancé seems to enjoy the bathing time here"

"She even asks if we can help her again when taking a bath"

"Oh? Is that so? Well, glad to hear that and if she asks for another help, then just help her out"

"Yes!"

Clara and Claire seem happy when hear they can help my fiancé again. They even make hi-five while making a wide smile on their faces. Hmm? What makes them so excited about that? And also…that smile seems mischievous.

"You're not doing something weird to my fiancé, right?"

"Of course not! We just try to make a good relations.h.i.+p with her as you told us"

"Fu fu fu…your fiancé unexpectedly very cute, Henry…and she also loves you very much. You know how long she had been waiting to able to meet you?"

"About ten years?"

"Nine years, ten months and twenty-two days…that's what she said to us"

"Hu um…she's a good girl, Henry…really suitable for your wife"

"Oh…if you think so, that's great. Now, help me change my suit please, I'll use the dark blue suit this time"

I'm not pursuing the details about how they helping my fiancé bathing since the time is nearing lunchtime already. My girls help me changing again like this morning, the differences is I'm not wearing the hat and not put a decorative sword on my waist. The gloves also only put it on my belt. The shoes this time also the same boot from this morning.

Clara folds a white handkerchief and put it on my chest pocket.

"Thanks, Clara, you come with me as my aide during lunch"

"Yes, Henry"

On formal feast, the maid will stand behind their master and help to prepare the meal and removing the used eating utensil from the table when their master finishes eating. Clara will perform that duty during lunch today.

"What about us, Henry?"

Claire and Carina ask what they should do

"Ah, you can have lunch here or in your room"

"But we want to help too"

"Hmm…help Mrs. Martina then, she surely will gladly accept any help she can get right now"

"Okay!"

After I look my appearance in the mirror and pleased with my looks, I leave the room with Clara to the dining hall. In the corridor leading to the dining hall, I see Mrs. Christina together with her maids pus.h.i.+ng the carts with cups, water jars, and teapots, also heading to the dining room.

"Mrs. Martina, did our honorable guests already waiting there?"

"Young master Henry, the guards and maids from Stamfort castle already gather there but your Excellency Earl Stamfort and his family haven't arrived yet"

"Oh that's good, I'm not late yet. Right, before the lunch start, I will give some speech and my father too about welcoming your Excellency Earl Stamfort in our castle, after my father finish his speech start serve the dishes"

"I understand, young master…this drink….can we serve this first?"

"Sure, no problem with that"

After having some words with Mrs. Martina, I try to speak with the maids that come along with her

"Are you ready, girls?"

"Yes, young master Henry"

"Are you nervous?"

"No, young master Henry"

"Oh, that's great because even I feel nervous for this lunch. You're doing better than me"

The maids chuckled when hearing what I said.

"Alright, just for your reminder, there're maybe some single young soldiers that Earl Stamfort bring along and when they see you, they might have an interest. Keep politeness dealing with them but don't sell yourself cheaply to them. If they want to get acquaintance with you, that's fine but if they ask you to accompany them in bed, please don't afraid to refuse. Harvard castle's residents are proud and dignified people aren't we?"

"Yes, young master Henry!"

"Good. Keep it that way"

While talking with the maids, we already arrive at the dining hall. There are rows of tables and chairs arranged neatly in the dining hall, separated into two parts, for the guest section in the right part and for Harvard resident in the left part. One special table with better furniture on the right side, provide for Earl Stamfort and his family to sit. Other tables were provided for his guards that Earl Stamfort brings for this trip and they already sit on their respective seat, chatting among themselves about something.

In the left side is dedicated for Harvard castle resident, my father, my stepmother, my uncle, and my sisters sit on the first and second rows while the rest of tables occupied by the commanders of our army, our castle officials, and castle town officials. My father and uncle seem in discussing something when I arrive at the dining hall while my stepmother and my sisters sit quietly in the second rows, waiting for our honorable guest arrive and start lunch.

"Ah, Henry…come and sits here"

"Yes, father"

I take a seat in the first row beside my uncle seat.

"What's your plan about this lunch?"

"Right, before lunch start, I will give some introduction first about the dishes because maybe they never eat something like we served during lunch today. After that, father can give some welcoming speech too, then our lunch can get started"

"Great! No need too much talking, our guests surely want to eat something nice during lunch, and that's what they will get, right?"

"Yes! That's correct, father. Now we should wait our honorable guest arrived here"

We're waiting for a couple of minutes later when Mr. Nicholas loudly announced Earl Stamfort arrival in the dining hall while open the door for him.

"Your Excellency Earl Stamfort arrives!"

All the people in the dining hall raise from their seat and saluting the arrival of Earl Stamfort in the dining hall.
