Minhyun stood in front of the door, waiting to find the right timing to enter.

However, since there was no surveillance cameras or windows, it was impossible to tell what the situation inside would be.

Going inside was a matter of luck - they had to be cautious.

With a loaded gun in his hand, Minhyun glanced at the guards before nodding. He also made sure to send a signal to the other team to make sure they opened the room at the same time. His heart raced.

He prayed that he picked the right place.

If Yoona was not in either areas, he wouldn't know where to start searching again. He just wanted for her to be safe.

He took a deep breath.

"Go."

The door flung open and he aimed the gun right in front of him.

His heart dropped.

No.

Only darkness and boxes were present to greet him. There was no living person in sight.

Minhyun cursed under his breath. "f.u.c.k." This was his absolute worst nightmare. He had chosen this room because it was closest to the location Yoona disappeared from, but to think that Jaemin chose the furthest one.

Or he could've already left.

Chills ran down his spine. He pressed against the Bluetooth piece in his ear, trying to get into contact with the other team. Please. He just hoped she was in the building.

"Sir. The girl is in room 203."

Once hearing the news, he didn't even hesitate to run. The outline of the map was memorized in his head and he used his brain to figure out the shortest route to getting to her. However, while he was running, another piece of news was broken to him.

"She's currently held hostage with a gun against her head."

One of the worst outcomes this situation could lead to. He cursed under his breath.

"I'm coming. Keep everything under control. If she has a single cut, all of you are dead. Understand."

"Y-yes sir."

---

Yoona tried to calm herself down, taking in deep breathes. The cold metal was pressed against her temple. Since she was on the verge of fainting she used all her willpower, she to believe that it wasn't there. Yup. There was no gun against her forehead. She was just being delusional.

However, as much as she wanted to control her emotions, reality was hard to manipulate. She was freaking out. The situation and gun was too real to ignore.

She was currently being held as hostage. Never in her life had she expected to find herself in this situation.

At the moment, there was three other security guards in the room holding their guns, aiming at Jaemin who was behind of her. With tense expressions on their faces, they were trying to get Jaemin to let go through bribes. However, he was not budging.

She was glad they came, but that didn't mean the situation was better. In fact, being hostage was worst then being kept captive.

Yoona closed her eyes. And where was Minhyun? If only he was here, she would be a lot calmer. He knew how to handle these types of situations and she trusted him.

Suddenly, the sound of a click entered the room.

"You son of a b.i.t.c.h," a familiar deep voice muttered.

Yoona's eyes widened and she stopped herself from letting out a sigh of relief. He had arrived. Thank G.o.d. She knew he wouldn't fail her.

When Minhyun saw the scene, anger riled up his chest. His fists were pale, no blood rus.h.i.+ng through due to his strength. Who did this b.a.s.t.a.r.d think he was? Using Yoona to his selfish needs? He saw the panicked look on her face and wanted to shoot the bullet through Jaemin's head.

When he a.n.a.lyzed her conditions he was thankful that she wasn't hurt. If that f.u.c.ker touched her... Minghyun didn't want to think about it.

"Finally," Jaemin said with a laugh. "The king is here."

"Cut the c.r.a.p." Minhyun took a step forward. His hand on the trigger. "You can't escape. You know this right?"

Jaemin forced a smile on his face. "And your point is?"

"If you let her go, i'll pretend that this never happened." It wasn't the best bribe, but Minghyun didn't have anything else to offer. In the current situation, Jaemin couldn't be bribed with money. After all, he wouldn't be able to use it in jail.

Jaemin shook his head, chuckles leaving his mouth. "You think i'd believe that bulls.h.i.+t."

The corner of Minhyun's mouth lifted into a smirk. "Who else do you have to believe."

"Your enemies."

Of course there was someone supporting Jaemin. In the end, there was always someone trying to ruin his happiness as if he deserved to live in h.e.l.l. No wonder everyone called him the devil. The name was fitting.

"Are you sure my enemies will save you?" He asked. "You do know that you are only a game piece to them? As someone whose been on the controlling side you should've realized by now."

Jaemin's lips quivered.

Minhyun took a step closer. "They can't protect you against me. I thought you were smarter than that."

Jaemin's grip on the gun tightened and he brought Yoona closer to his body. He knew this fact very well. In the end, he was going to lose either way, ending in jail or a mental asylum if he was lucky. The escape plan that his supporter promised him? Bulls.h.i.+t. Everything was planned accordingly and he knew himself that he was being played.

However, he didn't agree with this plan without knowing the consequences.

No matter what. There was going to be bloodshed tonight. Even if he were to die.

After all, how dare these f.u.c.kers look down on him? He was the Moon group treasure.

"You really look down on me huh?" Jaemin said. "But I didn't come here to be the only one to lose. If I'm going down, you're coming with me."

Yoona could feel the metal caress her skin, falling from her temple to her cheek. "And what better way is there than killing our love?"
