"Thank goodness you are finally awake." Said Lola.

Skylar got up slowly and wondered what had happened to her, "What happened to me, Lola?"

"You fainted during sports."

"Oh, did you bring me here?"

"No, Reign did. When you fell he ran to you and carried you here quickly."

Skylar groaned, "Now I have to thank him."

"He seemed to be worried about you."

"I bet he was."

"I am being honest Skylar."

Skylar took her bag and they went out of the front office. When she got home, she felt a bit weak and she took some vitamin supplements and went to bed.

The next morning she felt so much better and she was ready for school, she decided to put everything that had happened in the last few months at the back of her head. She wasn't going to stress herself anymore.

When she and Lola got to math, they sat down and waited for cla.s.s to begin. Everyone was quiet when the teacher walked in with a student.

"Morning guys, this is Mateo and he is an exchange student from Argentina." Everyone was murmuring amongst themselves, and it was mostly girls because he was really good-looking.

When he sat down and the commotion died down, everyone commenced with the work that was given to them. When the bell rang, she had English next, she got in and Reign and Karly were already seated.

She walked to her table and sat down, she didn't say anything nor looked at neither of them. She took out her books and earphones.

"You aren't going to thank me for taking you to the office?"

Skylar turned to him, "I forgot, but thank you."

Reign didn't say anything else and he turned his focus back to Karly.

When the bell rang, she closed her books and went to the cafeteria where she and Lola got some food and sat by their usual spot.

"How was a cla.s.s?"

"Reign spoke to me."

"He did, what did he want?"

"He reminded me that he was the one that carried me to the officer and why I hadn't thanked him."

"What did you say?"

"I just said I forgot and then I thanked him."

"And then?"

"Nothing, he turned to Karly."

"So are him and K..."

"Do you mind if I join you guys?"

Skylar and Lola looked up and they found Mateo looking down at them.

"You want to sit with us?" Lola asked.

"Yes, if you don't mind."

"Okay, you can." Said Lola.

Skylar could hear his accent and suspected as to why Lola wanted to be agreed. Everyone at school was now looking at their table for the first time.

Lola turned to Mateo, "So tell us why do you want to sit with us."

"It seems very crowded with the others, and you guys look nice"

They spoke during the break asking Mateo where he lived in Argentina when the bell rang they got up,

Mateo took out his time table, "I am going to science."

"Me too."

"Lucky," Lola grumbled.

Skylar and Mateo made their way to cla.s.s when they walked in she noticed Reign and Jessie look at them. She thought she was imagining it but they were staring.

"You can sit next to me."

Mateo sat on the other side of her.

"This cla.s.s is nice." Said Mateo.

"It is."

Skylar saw him take out his books, and she noticed that he was as serious about school as she was. She also took out her books, when she was done, she found Mateo gleaming at her.

"What?"

"You also like school." He said.

"I do and I can tell that you too like school."

Skylar turned when she heard Tyler pull back his chair and look at Mateo.

"Tyler this is Mateo an exchange student and Mateo this is Tyler."

"Nice to meet you Tyler."

"You too."

During the lesson, Skylar saw Mateo lean in, "These are covalent bonds right?"

"Yes."

"Thanks." He smiled at her.

"Yes, Reign you have your hand up." The teacher said out blue.

"We are trying to work but people keep on talking."

"Guys please work in silence. Thank you, Reign."

Skylar saw that Mateo had turned red and she giggled a bit.
