“How did you get up so early. I opened my eyes and found no one around.” said Jiang Wenxu.

His hair was a little messy but it made him look younger. When he complains it shows how he was a spoiled boy when he was young.

“I'm used to getting up early.” replied He Zhishu. “I didn't cook. You can eat outside later.”

He Zhishu poured hot water in a cup of cool water. He mixed the medicine and drank the entire thing.

Jiang Wenxu was a bit annoyed, but when he saw what He Zhishu had drank he got worried.

“Are you sick?” he asked.

“The temperature has dropped and I caught a cold.” He Zhishu smiled. “I am fine. Are you going back to work today?”

Jiang Wenxu was curious. There was sarcasm in He Zhishu's tone and he knew that something was up. He wondered, perhaps it was because he was guilty, that it was his conscience that made him uneasy.

“No. I'm staying home with you.” he said.

He Zhishu showed no surprise and proceeded to heat the pot. “The I shall cook something for. How about tomato noodles?”

“Okay.” answered Jiang Wenxu feeling relieved.

He moved to the sofa and sat waiting for the food. The smoke made He Zhishu felt more sick and he wondered if Jiang Wenxu was born to torture him.

As he poured the noodles on the soup Jiang Wenxu spoke, “You're raising flowers? I thought you didn't like flowers?”

“My friend sent it to me. I kept it to entertain me.” He Zhishu explained.

“Since when did you make friends? Do I know them? Are they your type?”

Jiang Wenxu's  words made him upset, even worse, disgusted. He could not help but wonder how Jiang Wenxu could say such things knowing he himself has made wrongs.

“He Zhishu!” Jiang Wenxu shouted.

“You can go cheat outside and I can't make friends?”

He Zhishu shut the fire and the half-cooked noodles gradually stuck together.

Jiang Wenxus was furious.

“What the h.e.l.l do you mean?! I am working outside to earn money to raise you. Is this what you think I am doing all day? Cheating?!”

He Zhishu scoffed. “Raise me? Do I need you to raise me? Isn't it enough for the 30% of my share to cover for my living expenses? This house both our property and yet you think I am your property? Jiang Wenxu, is your brain broken?”

Jiang Wenxu was stunned, upset and confused. He Zhishu had always been pa.s.sive, but suddenly he became sharp. Jiang Wenxu wasn't convinced.

“Why do you evade the question? What if you had an accident outside and you won't let me touch this orchid? This pot of flowers is enough for you to pay a down payment for a house. Is that it? Do you prefer your other “friends” to raise you?”

Jiang Wenxu took his coat, slammed the door and left never looking bad. He Zhishu wiped his tears. He sat by the table with a bowl of noodles. It was difficult to swallow. It was very disgusting, as disgusting as Jiang Wenxu, but at least the noodles didn't make him sad. In the end, he spat the noodles in the toilet and he vomited blood. Jiang Wenxu and the noodles both hurt his body.
