Postnatal Care Of A Sow Chapter 7: He Is Flirting With Ruan Bai?

Ruan Bai wanted to say something, but when he saw the look on She Yuan's face, he bit his tongue instead.

The takeout would come by later. She Yuan continued to do his work on the optical computer. Ruan Bai was idle. So he began to think about what he could do for Professor She.

"Mr. She, is there anything else I can do for you?" asked Ruan Bai.

Without looking up at him, She Yuan answered, "Nothing. Just sit down and have a rest."

While saying that, She Yuan wanted to stand up and fetch Ruan Bai some fruit, but suddenly remembered that he was a "patient" now. He paused and continued, "There is some fruit in the fridge. You can go and eat some."

Ruan Bai nodded and went to the kitchen. There were only several apples and oranges in the fridge. He took out all the fruit.

After a while, She Yuan became worried because Ruan Bai didn't come out of the kitchen yet. He was about to go to the kitchen to see what caused the delay, when Ruan Bai walked out with a big fruit tray.

The apples had been cut into the shape of rabbits, and the oranges had been carved into little Halloween pumpkins. They all looked lovely.

Ruan Bai held the fruit tray in his cupped hands for She Yuan to see, and asked, "Mr. She, do you think these rabbits and pumpkins look good?"

She Yuan didn't look at the fruit tray. He fixed his eyes on Ruan Bai's face and nodded, "Yes, they are beautiful."

Under She Yuan's intense gaze, Ruan Bai felt uncomfortable. He scratched his head with embarra.s.sment and sat down beside She Yuan with a forced smile.

"Mr. She, let's eat the fruit together."

She Yuan was busy searching the Internet for a doc.u.ment. He shook his head and said, "I'm busy now. You can eat first."

Ruan Bai curled his upper lip in a show of dissatisfaction, forked an apple rabbit and bit off its head vehemently.

The room was quiet. Only the sounds of She Yuan tapping away at the computer and Ruan Bai chewing on the apple, could be heard.

She Yuan felt that Ruan Bai was like a lovely rabbit when he was masticating the apple. Maybe his apple was delicious.

She Yuan looked away from the computer screen and fixated on the apple rabbit in Ruan Bai's hand.

Ruan Bai felt embarra.s.sed. He carefully chewed up the apple in his mouth and held the rest of the apple rabbit in his hand, wondering whether he should eat it or not.

When Ruan Bai was at a loss what to do, She Yuan leaned up and took a bite of the apple in Ruan Bai's hand.

Ruan Bai blushed and complained, "Mr. She, it's my apple. I have taken a bite from it."

She Yuan swallowed down the apple, licked his lips and said, "Oh, I don't know. I thought you deliberately cut the apple into that shape."

Ruan Bai pointed at the fruit tray on the tea table and sputtered, "There's a loaded tray of fruit on the table. Why did you eat my apple?"

She Yuan looked at the fruit tray and then at Ruan Bai. "Because it is more delicious."

'What did he mean by 'more delicious'? What is he hinting at? Is he flirting with me?' Ruan Bai thought.

She Yuan didn't explain more. Ruan Bai didn't dare to ask more.

But Ruan Bai thought that he had to do something to stop She Yuan from flirting with him.

"Mr. She, can I ask you a question? Do you Alphas all like to flirt with us Omegas in a bid to enjoy the embarra.s.sed look on our face?"

"I don't know. I haven't ever flirted with any Omega."

At his words, Ruan Bai was stunned and could not think of the right thing to say.

She Yuan asked, "So, are you feeling embarra.s.sed?"

Ruan Bai didn't know how to answer She Yuan. At the beginning, Ruan Bai thought that She Yuan was flirting with him on purpose in an effort to make him feel embarra.s.sed. In the eyes of Ruan Bai, even though She Yuan was good looking and had good genes, he must be deeply affected by Alphas' deep-rooted bad habits.

However, She Yuan directly denied Ruan Bai's guess. Ruan Bai couldn't ask any more questions. But for some unknown reason, he felt a touch of sweetness in his heart.

Ruan Bai's silence didn't stop She Yuan from asking more questions. "You feel embarra.s.sed because you are at an Alpha's home? Or because you are with me? Are you not at ease with me? "

Ruan Bai blurted out, "How can I know? I haven't been to other Alphas' home."

She Yuan was pleased to hear that. A faint smile couldn't help but form onto his lips, and his dark eyes were full of joy.

His next remark was like a snake, preparing to entangle his prey.

"So, you've never been to any Alpha's home except my home. And you feel embarra.s.sed because of me, right?" he said slowly, emphasizing every word.
