Winston's face went from shock to one of sarcasm, "Am I supposed to believe that?"

Axel looked at him a smug look on his face, "Yes, you can ask her if you want."

Winston turned to her, it was obvious that he was waiting for an explanation.

"It's true."

Axel smirked and turned to Winston.

"Is that supposed to faze me?" Winston replied.

Winston's reply gave Talia a shock, and it was a refres.h.i.+ng sight to see someone stand up to Axel like that.

"Yes, it is," Axel replied with a chilling tone that Talia knew.

"Enough Axel."

"No, let me hear what he has to say?"

"Well from what I can deduce, I can tell that there must be a huge reason as to why she is married to you and she didn't come here with you in the first place," Winston replied calmly.

"What if all your presumptions are wrong?" Axel replied.

"I am confident."

"Tell me as to why you are so confident, Winston?"

"I see how Talia looks at me and you."

"How does she look at us."

"She likes me and loathes you."

"Is that so?"

"Yes."

"Talia why don't you tell us," Axel replied.

"I don't owe you an explanation."

"You see she can't answer because she is torn, pa.s.sion and hatred read the same."

Talia saw Winston swallow and his jaw tightened, he took a deep breath, and he turned away. Talia went after him, "Winston wait."

After some minutes, Winston stopped and turned to her, "Now that we are out of your husband's sight, now you can explain to me so that I can understand."

Talia exhaled, "I can't, not know."

"Will, you ever tell me?"

"Yes." "Then that's great, but can I ask you a question, Talia?"

"Yes?"

"Did you willingly marry him?" "No."

"That's more than enough for me that's all I need to know." Winston pulled her close and enveloped his arms around, Talia felt warm and most of all safe. She sighed at how comfortable she was.

When Axel found Talia and Winston hugging his heart couldn't bear it. He wasn't going to cause a scene, Talia looked at peace which was a sight that he could rarely afford.

He went back to his hotel room, when he got there he found London already there. "She still hasn't warmed up to you?"

"No London and I don't know if she will ever forgive me or look at me or feel the...." Axel stopped talking, it hurt to rehash everything.

She looked so comfortable with Winston, he wanted to ask for her forgiveness. He didn't know that he loved her until she had left him. He felt as if he was going crazy, at the same time he wanted to give her the freedom that he had taken away from her.

"Is she okay?" London asked.

Axel looked at his best friend and he could tell he had feelings for Talia, but how much, he didn't know. He had noticed how London looked at Talia, the first time that they had seen her. London had a longing face that he rarely saw, and when he saw Talia, he couldn't hide it.

"Is she alright Axel?'

Axel snapped out of his thoughts, "Yes she is more than fine."

"That's a relief."

"It isn't" "What do you mean?" London replied.

"She has a new boyfriend or fling. I really don't know what they are. I can't read her emotions as I used to."

Axel saw London's eyes filled with hurt, "What's his name?"
