With +1 to all stats, I felt a little stronger . But to be honest given my current condition, there wasn't much to go with . I could hear them stomping above me, searching and tearing apart whatever was left of the great hall in their hunt for me . They knew I was here, they all had a scent and a confirmation that a living human was hanging around this place . And with how frantic they seem to be searching for me, it seems they were hungry .
{Hide has leveled up}
That was a surprised, but I really didn't know how to use the so called hide skill, other than to hide . The system or whatever it's called, was not yet back from communing with it's makers, so I was left here, feeling desolate and alone as my tears dropped from my eyes . I felt so alone, and empty . I thought about my family back on earth, I could picture the faces and feel their worry, especially when they come into my room and can't find me . If I can't go back home, what then, would I have to continue living like this . {Night Vision Skill Has Been Generated} Advertis.e.m.e.ntSuddenly I could see a little better . I was no longer in pitch blackness as before, but rather I could make out shapes and the general direction of things . But I'm not sure if this was a good thing or bad thing . Everything I looked at, every shadow I saw, just seemed to spook me in more ways than one . I was completely unsettled and couldn't focus, so I moved back until my back was against a wall . {+1 to Night Vision} {+1 to Hide} I was surprised by the screen that showed up, but at least it gave me something to focus on for now . I think I got the basic gist of it though, as long as I kept on performing the actions that had to do with the mentioned skills, they will keep improving, and getting better, until they reach another level . This really is like a game, but also a lot like real life, only easier . If you practice a certain skill for a long time, you become very proficient in it, and that's what's happening right now . It made sense to me, but now there was something else I had to make sense of . And that could only be done by asking a question, who the f.u.c.k is Leon An Khel, and where the f.u.c.k am I and why in G.o.ds name am I in his body? And it was very convenient that I had memories to answer all these for me . Leon, was a special breed of human . He was black, and unlike earth there was no prejudice against them in this place, this world . This planet as a whole is called Huxia, and it has four continents, each ruled by a powerful sect . At least it used to anyway . This was a world of cultivation, of understanding the essence of the world and using that understanding to strengthen the body, the soul, and the mind . And also from that understanding, you would receive the power to subdue and control the elements, become one with beasts, and even become immortal .
To the south was the Live Giver sect; they're not really one for battles, but they were inventors, Scientists and doctors . They made pills, and weapons, and technological advancements that relied on the essence of heaven and earth . I would say this world had technology as advanced as earth, only it was a little bit crude and more fantasy like than science . To the north was the Golden dragon imperial sect . They served as both an empire and a sect, with the emperor being the head of the sect . They were warmongers, fanatics with grand delusions of one day taken over the entire of Huxia, and they had the power to back it up . They were really powerful body and essence cultivators, and had numerous diverse skills that would most certainly give every other sect a run for their money . And to the west, was my sect… . . Leon's sect . The Celestial beast sect . This group of people were merchants, masters of the trade and the best at what they did no less . They were wealthy and quite influential, and practiced an obscure method of cultivation unlike any other on Huxia . They cultivated their strength, by bonding with the souls of beasts, gaining unique and various special abilities and immense physical prowess . Leon lived in this world, and as an ancient human no doubt . A race a humans believed to be born with above average grade talent in cultivation, and a unique physique and bloodline to match . Their power and capabilities vary from individual to individual . But their most telling quality was the color of their skin, and that was them being black . As such they were a commodity to some, and a treasure to others . The previous Leon had been a treasure of the Celestial beast sect, in fact he was already married to the daughter of the sect head, and had a master he was a little too close to . Everything was working fine for him, until they were attacked . They never knew who their enemy was, where they came from, or why they were attacked . But even with all of their strengths, the Celestial beast sect, fell on that day and became nothing but a wasteland . And with their fall, the special forest that they've been cultivating, protecting and which also served as a natural barrier for their sect, swallowed the grounds of the sect up . And the beasts that the disciples once hunted, now became the hunters and sect their hunting ground .
{Night Vision has Leveled up to 2} {+ 1 to Hide} I could see much clearer now, but not enough that I could actually move around with ease . I noticed the rough outline of a jar beside me, and as convenient as it was finding it, I didn't come from a place or people who were known for being meticulous and careful with their discoveries . I uncorked the jar a end brought to my nose, And sniffed a bit and almost had the urge to gag at the familiar scent . This was alcohol, and a very strong one to boot . But with how hungry I am, it's not as if I had much of a choice but to drink it all . Until my night vision gets better, this was my only mode of sustenance . And so I took a deep swig but swallowed slowly to lessen the effect of the burn . I don't drink, and neither did Leon, but I've the displeasure of tasting alcohol too many times to count . And all at the behest of my peers . I leaned my back against the wall again and just wallowed . I had no idea what I was supposed to do next . I didn't even understand what was happening saying I was way out of my league and depth of understanding would be an understatement . I was like a fish that was just taken out of the sea, and thrown into the Saharan desert . With not a body of water in sight . {The Game World System offers it's sincerest apologies to host . As of the moment the host was taken from his home world, he has ceased to exist within his own reality . Memories of your name, and the name of the people who knew you would fade, as names have more power than most would expect . The council of transmigratory, reincarnation and otherworld summoning G.o.ds have decided to not interfere in your life and as an apology have prepared a apologetic beginner package gift to help you survive in this world . As of this moment onwards, you're one else, but Leon An Khel, Would you like to open gift package . } I would have cried some more if I had anymore tears to cry . I understood exactly what was happening here, some stupid G.o.ds messed up with my life and upset the very balance of things . But instead of helping me, they're abandoning me, leaving me to my own devices . What a joke, what sort of G.o.ds are they? At this point I was not sad or upset, I was angry, so angry that I started drinking the jar of alcohol in my hand with a fervor not unlike a man who has had his heart broken . {Would you like to open gift package?} "Yeah! Sure! Go ahead and open the f.u.c.king gift! And then leave me the f.u.c.king h.e.l.l alone! Arghhhhh!" {Opening gift Package… . . package opened . } {Host has received +10 stat points and +20 skill points/ The skill Appraisal, the skill cure/ and the talents heightened memory and hyper learning . } {Mission: increase one skill level to 10} {Rewards: 5 skill points and +1 to all stats . } {Time: 5 minutes 10 seconds} {Penalty: Death}
The four continents were ruled by four sects, the Sun Seeker Sect in the east, powerful masters of yang related cultivation and martial arts . When it comes to the sheer prowess of battle, not many can match them in a straight fight . They can fight beyond and above the level and scope of strength .
