A Warrior's Path 96 Chapter 96. Fourth Ninja War Part 1

War is never good for anyone. Especially in ninja world, you never know when your loved one would leave you.

Every village prepared. Noone held back their strength, all of them knew how serious this time's danger is.

Tsunade and the other kages were able to gather all their forces in two days. But this wasn't all that's needed, weapons, foods, medic... their were still many details that's needed to be sorted out.

As Tsunade was selected as the supreme commander, she had to go through mountains of paperwork. Not just her all kage had their own share of work but none complained, this is war and their enemy is Madara. They need to get everything done as soon as possible.

Very quickly the alliance was able to bring together about Eight thousand s.h.i.+n.o.bi! This time none of them fought for their village, they didn't fight for vengeance but for their world.

Tsunade and the other kage formed Five regime, each lead by a single person.

First Regime, Lead by Ai's right hand man Darui.

Second Regime, lead by Onoki's grandson Kitsuchi.

Third Regime, lead by Copy Ninja Kakas.h.i.+.

Fourth Regime, lead by Kazekage Gaara.

Fifth Regime, Lead by Samurai Leader Mifune.

In addition, there was four other special forces.

Medic Division, Lead by s.h.i.+zune.

Surprise attack Division, Lead by Kankuro.

Sensor Division, Lead by Ao.

Intelligence Division, Lead by Inoichi.

With this every ninja was a.s.signed to their respective Division or Regime. At first everything seemed to get out of control but Gaara as the commander gave an inspiring speech, he increased the morals of every ninja, waking that longing for peace within them. At the end he got every one to forget their grudges from the past and got them to look towards the future.

Kakas.h.i.+ who heard Gaara's words " Nice speech."

Gaara replied with calmness " I just spoke from my heart. That's all."

Mifune " True, sometimes that's all it takes."

Darui chipped in " Any movement from our enemies? "

Kakas.h.i.+ " According to Inoichi, an army of Zetsu is headed our way. Also there are a few huge chakra signatures as well."

Kitsuchi frowned " Chakra signatures? Backup? "

Gaara shook his head " I don't think so. Ryu and others already took care of all the Akatsuki members. It's impossible to present anymore unless they didn't reveal themselves all this time."

Mifune also nodded " Yes. That should be the case however who among us should intercept them? "

The others looked towards Gaara for his orders. They wanted to see how this young Kage would do, after all an incompetent commander will bring down a whole army.

Gaara got serious " My division will intercept those chakra signatures. Darui take the west side. Mifune san will take on Southwest. Kakas.h.i.+ san and Kitsuchi will intercept those Zetsus. We will join you as soon as possible."

All of them nodded, they lead their division towards battle. Gaara lead his division towards those Chakra signatures. His division consisted of Neji, s.h.i.+kamaru and Hinata.

s.h.i.+kamaru was a.s.signed as Gaara's right hand man or advisor on field.

s.h.i.+kamaru " According to what Inoichi san said, these signatures are huge. To reduce casualties, I think we should scout out those people."

Gaara nodded. He too had this plan. Plunging straight towards your enemy can't even called dumb that's just utter suicide.

Obito was Infront of someone dressed in a clock. This person had a sinister vibe.

Obito " How goes those summons? "

The clocked man spoke as he removed his head cover revealing pale white skin, with scales over his face. His eyes were like that of a snakes.

This was Kabuto.

When Orochimaru was killed, Kabuto got out as quick as he can. He tried everything he could to gain more power, to make his body perfect and his current appearance was the result.

Kabuto " Hehe... those are truly great. They are also strengthened by Has.h.i.+rama's cell making their reanimation even stronger and more perfect, inching towards hundred percent of their peak strength."

Obito nodded. Allies he gathered over the years were now dead, he only had Zetsu as an army, nothing stronger. That's when Kabuto approached him, saying he would offer help with nothing in return.

Obito had a hard time believing. He wouldn't trust this man even if he pulled his heart out But as time pa.s.sed, his doubts were cleared, it seemed like Kabuto hated leaf. He didn't know the details but it's enough as long as they both have the same goal.

Gaara and company were now silently gazing Infront of them. Neji and Hinata didn't use their Byakugan.... yet.

Gaara used his third eye technique to view what's infront of his division. Those chakra he sensed wasn't normal. Moreover he could actually feel a familiar chakra.

' But that's impossible. He is dead.'

s.h.i.+kamaru noticed this slight change in Gaara's expression but didn't bother to ask. He could also feel that strong pressure emanate from the distance.

As they waited, s.h.i.+kamaru suddenly saw Gaara's complexion become severe.

" Retreat."

Gaara ordered. Neji and the rest couldn't make heads or tails about what just happened. After retreated a few miles back s.h.i.+kamaru asked.

" What happened? What did you see? "

Gaara wore a serious face as he said " My father."

s.h.i.+kamaru was stunned. Gaara's father would be the Kazekage before him, Rasa. But he has been missing for years now. He was announced dead after Sasori's capture. But now he is saying he actually saw his father.

Gaara " Not just him. I also saw few more walking along with him."

s.h.i.+kamaru " Who? "

Gaara " Third Raikage, Second Mizukage and Second Tsuchikage."

Hearing these names s.h.i.+kamaru suddenly thought of something " Reanimation!! d.a.m.n!! Someone actually used Reanimation Jutsu to bring them back. This is bad! A Reanimation can only be dealt by sealing them.

We need seal masters here asap! "

Gaara seconded this notion. As they were speaking these four shadows quickly approached.

Fourth Regime watched as legends stood before them. Each of them being a monster among monsters. Especially third Raikage, he is said to have fought Eight tails and won, that too just by using his body alone.

Gaara wasn't daunted. He looked towards his father and said " h.e.l.lo father."

Rasa looked towards his son " Gaara..... you have grown."

Gaara didn't reply. He gazed at his father with complex emotions, it would be a lie if Gaara said he didn't hate Rasa but as years pa.s.sed, Gaara got over his hatred, with Naruto as a friend you would get rubbed by his kindness as well.

Rasa " So you are still alive. How is the village? "

Gaara " The village is fine. As for why I am fine, I have learned to live with someone inside me. To me he is a friend now, not a tool for war and destruction but an ally to protect those who I hold dear."
