The women averted their gaze from the dragon-man's nakedness.

Seeing their awkward blushes, Corin politely approached Albion with his cloak for offer.

"If you don't mind."

Albion huffed and muttered complaints about delicate virgin hatchlings as he accepted Corin's cloak and wrapped it around his body. His complaints and ill expression lifted as he took in a whiff of Corin's scent.

"Are you sure you're not Alroy?" Albion's eyed Corin hopefully.

Corin cordially nodded. "I'm his eldest son, Corin and this is my younger brother."

Darick frowned at the obvious disapproving chetting sounds from Albion's mouth. He retrieved his sword from the ground and sheathed it. Next time he'd be able to counter the will attack.

"You don't look like Alroy."

Albion turned his nose up at Darick's surly expression. His blond hair and rugged journey-man armour was far too uncouth for Alroy's offspring. Not to mention, his eyes held a strange mysteriousness for a human being.

"You have a sick obsession with my Old Man." Darick chetted back, his hand gripping the hilt of his longsword so his knuckles were white.

"Listen you black sheep. Alroy is a being worthy of respect and honour. A hereditary feature I see skipped your generation." Albion smugly answered back.

"You dare insult my Sponsor! I don't care who you are. Apologise!" Luca stepped in-between the men with his daggers raised.

"You are by far the most beautiful Seriph my eyes have touched upon. I apologize for your misguided devotion." Albion's expression instantly softened with a l.u.s.tful gaze on Luca.

He surprised the man by sweeping him into his arms and pressing a pa.s.sionate kiss to his lips that made Lucas's arms flop to his sides and daggers drop to the ground. Naturally Darick drew his sword to fight for his lover.

"Stay your hand Darick." Azaria soberly ordered his fiancé.

"You would say that!" Darick snapped at the other dragon-man and formed an attack position when Luca found himself unable to pull away.

"Wow. Pa.s.s the crackers Sierra. This is getting good." Lilia joked as the women watched the men going through their dilemmas from the side lines.

"Um, my Lords, we must tarry. Who knows how many Vorn will return to recoup their losses." Hannah broke through tensions with her calm voice of reason.

Albion released Luca, acknowledging her words.

Luca staggered back to Darick's side with apologies.

"Yes we must tarry. The night is upon us and our journey is long," Albion said as he returned to his sarcophagus.

"Hang on. We? You are not part of 'we'?" Darick argued.

"Audacious plebeian hatchling. The only way out of this place is to traverse through underground tunnels and catacombs, which are part of the Fourth Hours Necropolis designed by Our Lady of Diane Order." Albion stated as he fished inside for some belongings.

He explained further as he dressed into decent journey-man gear of black tight leather pants, long sleeved armour tunic, gauntlets, braces and heavy sole lace up boots that run up to his knees.

Per his lecture, as the honourable Lady Khylan was the penultimate G.o.ddess of the Land, the Lady Diane was revered as the G.o.ddess of Time. So, any magic that involved time and order was governed by her rule. This order also embued walls with Talc. It seems Albion had a way around the restriction.

He further explained that the Fourth Hours Sect of her order saw to his wishes of preservation within their necropolis, so he could have a nice long rest after a winning battle during the Clan Wars during Alroy's period.

"I should be sleeping, unless..." He mused as he tied up his hair in a ponytail. The final touch of his outfit.

"A Million apologises for disturbing your rest. We shall swiftly be on our way, so you can return to your eternal slumber," Darick said sarcastically.

"My, my, you are a brave hatchling to show me cheek. I should teach you a lesson." Albion's eyes glowed a devilish red, his hands began to glow with the same colour.

"Forgive my baby brother my Lord Albion. He is, as you have noticed, young." Corin stepped in-between and bowed respectfully before Albion, ignoring Darick's protest.

Albion sighed dreamingly and recoiled his power. "Manly, wise and respectful. Every bit of a being befitting Alroy's offspring. In your good light, I will refrain."

His eyes narrowed toward Darick. "Be thankful you have a perfect older sibling."

He began walking way from the party to the back wall.

"Don't worry. I share the same opinion." Luca rea.s.sured Darick and yelped when Darick pulled him into a heated kiss. He relaxed into the man's arms, opening his mouth for more.

"Cleansing that dragon's germs," Darick said when they finally broke for air.

"Any time." Luca licked his lips greedily.

"My Love. I'm always on your side." Azaria pushed Luca out of the way to peck Darick's cheek. "I will watch that dragon carefully for you."

Luca frowned at Azaria's bold advances.

Lilia groaned and rolled her eyes. She goaded them into motion towards Albion's direction, who was waiting for them before a section of the wall with the rune symbol of Staar glowing near his head.

"Past this point is the necropolis. In my day, it was heavily guarded with skeleton warriors of the sect. I'm sure a few trolls and other underground monsters would have found their way inside." Albion was pleased by everyone's sober expressions.

Perhaps he could pa.s.s a few details to them.

"Corin. You claim to be Alroy's son and I don't doubt your word. However, do you understand the importance of the Lochlea bloodline?" Albion asked.

Corin thought and concluded the man was referring to his Dragonieth.

"You'd be referring to the Rushkillzen?"

Albion nodded. "Yes. That's not all. My blood is bound by yours through Staar. My awakening is because you are here. It also means there's a need to journey to Salmu."

"What?!" Everyone gasped at the thought.

"Salmu, as in the Land of the Dead?" Lilia gulped.

"Why?" Hannah calmly asked.

"Isn't it obvious. You're with the Lifestone, are you not?"

Corin was startled by the a.s.sumption. Of course Albion was correct.

"Yes, but how did you know."

"I'm awake and talking to you is how I know. The Lifestone triggers my existence as its guardian, if it should be in harms way."

Darick frowned. "Then shouldn't you be taking the path to Mount Lonely like us?"

"I should, but the Lifestone is not the only world artefact under my guardians.h.i.+p. My mind is alerted to a fact that an army of Vorn are within reach of the Birch Arches to Salmu."

Albion approached Darick with an earnest expression that made his frown deepen. "You must quest for the Deathstone held within Salmu."

"Let me guess, you'll happily go off with Corin and leave me to rot in the Land of the Dead," Darick said through gritted teeth.

"My Lord Albion. Why don't we concern ourselves with leaving this dungeon for now." Azaria stepped in.

"Yes. Quite." Albion sighed, suddenly wearied by his trifle spats with Alroy's youngest.

"Brace yourselves hatchlings. We'll likely need to fight our way out of this place."

Albion's gauntlets glowed a bright red. He waved his hands into a motion that formed the image of an infinity symbol, which was placed over the Staar rune.

The wall swelled and faded into an opening of a section of black stone tunnel.
