Curious people always ask questions, a curious mind is like a laboratory where different experiments take place. Show me a curious mind there you have a mind that has the

ability to constantly evolve as at when due.

Curiosity is the reason for every innovation, when people ask questions on why a situation should be better, there will be a birth of a new thing.

Innovators asked why objects couldn't fly in the skies, which brought about the existence of an air plane. Some asked why horses and carriages couldn't transform into faster means of transportation, a car was made in the process. People have asked questions in the field of medicine, the answers produced vaccines and antibiotics which brought so much relief to this world because of the number of lives that have been saved through their continuous application.

I can't but just admire the courage and tenacity of innovators in the field of medicine, there's nothing we are in this world without life, there has to be life first before anything can be achieved, saving lives through innovations and inventions will continue to be the most n.o.ble effort in my opinion.

Asides scientific inventions or engineering innovations, people have asked questions about culture, archaic traditions, religious doctrines, societal norms that resulting answers have brought about freedom, liberation, education, growth, civilization, true spirituality and emanc.i.p.ation.

There are two types of curiosity: the positive one and the negative one. While positive curiosity has made the world a better and safer place to live in, negative curiosity has unleashed so much criminality and evil upon this world. So when the term curiosity is used in this book, I am referring to the positive one, the one that has made our world a better place to live in.

Some people don't ask questions, they can be on the same desk for 20 years without any form of growth, some can live in the same house, same neighbourhood forever, some can use the same cooking utensils for decades and some can travel on the same bad road forever. Unknowingly to many of us, for every good that has been done in this world, for every n.o.ble effort, for every law that has affected lives positively some people wondered why things couldn't change, they acted in good faith to see things change and those efforts paid off eventually.

I remember vividly how curious my mind was in the mid and late 90s when I was always going in and out of Lagos on occasional visits. I asked so many questions about many things. I used to stay on the Lagos Mainland anytime I was in town. I will never forget the questions that popped up in my head when I used to drive through Oregun and Ilupeju, even Alausa parts of Lagos, I was just

interested in the factories I saw, I was marvelled at the sight, I always wondered why I can't build one of them when I start working. At the same time I had a couple of friends I used to go check upon in Ikoyi and Victoria Island, of course there were some beautiful offices and homes in those two areas on the Lagos Island, and I would ask my friends if they knew whose house or office this was and they will reel out their profiles, some homes were owned by bank CEOs, some were owned by manufacturers, some were owned by engineers and notable professionals, I also noticed as it remains the practice till date that some streets were named after some successful individuals including buildings.

This sight never left me, it got etched on my mind for a long time, and the sight now gave birth to some sort of determination in me to become successful so much to have office buildings and streets named after me, to own factories too someday. It also reinforced the belief that has been deposited in me from home that if you work hard enough you can achieve what you never imagined. From that point I made up my mind that I must work hard to own a factory someday and also have streets, office buildings named after me. Many years later I wouldn't say I have those dreams anymore, I have since changed my focus but just because I asked those questions at the time, I have been able to chart a n.o.ble course for myself in life called ENTREPRENEURs.h.i.+P. That's why the questions you ask can transform your life forever and allow you make impact in this world like you never imagined.

Seek Answers from the Right Source(s)

One of the reasons I couldn't find answers for quite a while in my journey was because I asked questions from people who couldn't provide the appropriate answers nor had no answers at all. It will be foolish of anyone to go ask a farmer with no medical background a question critical to his or her health, this will certainly lead to confusion or even death. That is what happens to

many people who had many questions in their bellies about their future but sought answers from the wrong people, they either became confused as to what career path they should take or the ideas never saw the light of day.

Until you find the people that will provide answers or provide a solution to the problem you want solved, you will continue to grope in the dark. I am sure a lot of us wonder why the kids being brought up in our society these days are so smart. While we were growing up, there appeared to be so much secrecy, when you ask a question from your parents, they either reply you with sarcasm or they s.h.i.+eld you from there all truth because they wanted to protect your innocence, fast forward to now, if you do not quickly answer the questions your child ask in the most satisfying and accurate manner, a schoolmate or some other influencer will provide the wrong answers and that's where the problem starts from.

Again because the social media and the satellite television have redefined information dissemination in today's world, children also turn to them for information. Due to this, parents of today have learnt their lessons not to ignore questions from their kids, they give them the most satisfactory answers to feed their curiosity.

This is the main reason why kids of today ask and get the right answers little wonder they appear smarter than their years. Please look for your own 21st century parents and ask the right questions to satisfy your curiosity, so you can provide answers that will transform your world.

Answers will remain elusive when questions aren't asked. Nigeria is still a developing nation, so many questions are begging for answers across many sectors. An old school mate is answering many questions in the sector of agriculture and I must say I am very impressed by what he is doing, look for your own sector too and answer the questions there and I am sure you will touch many lives than you ever imagined in the process.
