Kagome was literally dragging her feet as she trudged on every 100 paces and continue to make small fires as she approached as what she had seemed; the beach. Even though there were no sounds of breaking waves or seagull squawking near the breaking of waves, she knew somehow deep inside her heart that she was reaching her final destination.

As darkness fell around her, she decided that the best thing to do now is to stop and have some rest. She looked around for any plants or fruits that were edible but somehow the Director did not manage to materialize some and so she ended by having one coconut that she carried.

Luckily she had disposed the husks and only carried the cores in her satchel bag and as if she would happen to meet a guy offscreen; a sentence like "Wow, I love those coconuts" or "Let me suck those sweet coconut juices" would be easily misinterpreted by most girls...hahaha. h.o.r.n.y and Corny Comments. She made fire by gathering some tinder, kindling, thin sticks then larger pieces of wood and made a sort of stackable log fire that would burn throughout the night. This way the fire would be smoky enough to be able to ward off gnats and mosquitoes plus a reflected fire that would be able to warm her throughout the night.

After striking a few times with her flint and magnesium rod, sparks flew and caught fire at the base of the logs that she had stacked. The tinder and kindling were dry so the fire easily spread to other pieces of wood, creating a bed of embers that slowly 'eats up' to the core of the logs.

She had learned to set up this type of fire again through her memories of watching some weird English speaking Russian or Slovakian dude in YouTube that mentions about new gadgets and survival. After the fire was catching in steadily she muttered "boom" just like the crazy bald dude on YouTube.

She removed her boots and felt that it had gone sore for she had never worn such footwear before and its one size too big for her. She took 2 sticks and poked into the ground and upturned her boots by inserting the openings through it.

This is to ensure that there would not be any scorpions or poisonous centipedes entering and residing inside; once the boots were upturned nothing would crawl into it after making sure to shake and knock the boots several times before putting them on again.

She decided to rough it out and lay spread Eagle on the ground and tried her best to shut her eyes. The ground was soft and does not have any poking feeling of sharp twigs or other whatnot underneath her. She supported one of her arms like a pillow and lay on her side. Fighting the urge to yawn loudly she closed her eyes tightly and imagined that Kenzo was beside her and she was lying down on his arm instead.

Feeling full by earlier drinking coconuts and eating its flesh, she was slowly ushered into a deep sleep and accompanied by the warmth of the stack of a log fire and the soft crackling of embers underneath it.

The chirping sounds of crickets and the sound of other wild and lively insects soon lullabies her to sleep and in a few minutes time, she was softly snoring and her breathing became steady.

She dreamt that she was walking down the aisle of the church with her mother by her side. A man with silvery hair was looking back at her warmly smiling and encouraging her to step forward and be together with him.

He wore a light blue three piece suit and was holding his hands together with a priest in his robe glowered under the sun's rays that formed a kind of holy aura around him as well the man standing; waiting and beckoning to her with his grey eyes.

She was wearing a short blue colored sleeveless wedding dress with beige colored gloves. On top of her head was adorned with a tiara that was made from precious stones and was totaling on the side of her head. A beige veil covered her face. Despite the veil, she can see everything around her clearly.

Mrs. Kuwahara was walking beside her and whispered that she will be going to be a wife soon. She let Kagome go and sat on one of the pews. Kagome was walking slowly as she held her bouquet of flowers in both hands.

As she pa.s.sed the aisle, everyone was smiling at her and nodding approvingly. Her cla.s.smates were there, the teachers too; even people she doesn't recognize that comprises from the staffs of the j.a.panese CSI as well the OCD. (just extras to fill up the whole church anyway)

Slowly as she ambled towards Kenzo, with his broadly smiling face and his majestically athletic body; he held up his right hand and Kagome took it in hers and stood side by side with her prince charming.

After the priest had said his blessings, he announced both Kenzo and Kagome as husband and wife. (shortcut: because they need to actually kneel before the priest and sign some papers at the meantime have a certain kind of rope around both of the necks)

Kenzo lifted the veil ever so lightly over Kagome's head, brushed his hands lightly against her cheeks and bent over; their faces almost touching and kissed for the very first time in their life!!!

(actually, a pa.s.sing mole had somewhat sniffed at Kagome's lips as it smelled some coconut juices and fleshy meat that she had eaten slightly earlier)

She lifted her toes and held both Kenzo's shoulders for support as 2 pair of lips entwined and a magical event was recorded. Whoops of joys and handheld noisemakers as well as horns, whistles and bells were sounded as they cling to one another as if both Kenzo and Kagome would not let go off each other.

In the next part, she was carried off like a princess by Kenzo and placed inside a wheelbarrow. Well-wishers stood at the sides of the lane and rained them with all kind of candies and sugared nuts as wedding exit tosses. (It was said to bring sweetness in their journey. Also, it was one of Kenzo's crazy idea of poking fun with people when he used a wheelbarrow instead of a car as a means of wedding ceremony send-offs)

With the bride sitting in the wheelbarrow, Kenzo in his 3 piece suit began running towards the pier and boarded a yacht.

In another part of her dream, she had lost one side of her wedding slippers. (Oh... Oh... In Psychology the translation of dreams meant that she would lose someone dear to her) She searched all over but could not locate it. However, Kenzo was not seen anywhere on that yacht and it was carried by the currents towards some precarious rocks near the beach!!

Next, she dreamt that she was on the beach; s.h.i.+pwrecked but in one piece. Her hair was filled with seaweed and her wedding dress was torn in many places. She saw her Prince, Kenzo lying flat on his face with no signs of movement and she rushed there to wake him up... However, when she turned Kenzo on his back, she saw that the face had turned somewhat decomposed and a crab suddenly crawled out of his mouth... Eeeeewwwwww....

She woke up screaming and was soaked in her perspiration. She frantically looked around for Kenzo and realized that it was all a dream... A frightfully horrific dream that started off sweet and memorable.

(Director seemed to be sick in his mind as he changed the script of Kenzo being a floater that was washed up on the beach)

The sudden thoughts of losing Kenzo in such an event made her fully awake. As it was already in the middle of the night or early morning, she had no choice decide to continue her walk using the smoke as a guide for her land breeze as she walks along with the smoke after putting her once again ill-fitting jungle boots.

After an hour of walking and setting up smoke every 100 paces or so, she came to a sandy clearing of coconut, banana and pineapple plantations. By inspecting the sand, her heart jumped in joy as she knew her instincts were right in following the direction of the smoke earlier. As she was picking the largest and the ripest pineapple that she could lay her eyes on, she heard sounds of waves softly cras.h.i.+ng over the sh.o.r.eline.

The beach... At last...!!!

Kagome wanted to frolic in the sea and make sand castles and play with tiny soldiers attacking each other. She also wanted to pick seash.e.l.ls and ride the yellow banana boat that was pulled by a speedboat. All these were during peacetime and when she was a little girl when her father was still alive.

So she made her way through a knoll and upon reaching it, she saw a magnificent view that was spread miles and miles of clear deep blue sea and across the beach she saw miles and more miles of white powdery sand beaches with no signs of human activity, boats or s.h.i.+ps on the horizon or as far as the eyes can see.

Her knees felt weak and her body collapsed under the weight...
