I reached my office and was greeted by the elder security guard that was stationed outside the gla.s.s door of the main office building. He greeted with his usual Thai gestures and so did I as I sauntered inside and headed up the stairs.

I saw some of my colleagues had already started to shuffle their stuff on their desk as they welcome the new work day. All of them one by one greeted me as I entered the main office and I greeted them back as well.

I snuggled and felt glad that there is someone I could talk to during times like this. Max walked over and sat but somehow his hands slipped through the back of the chair. He looked up at me feeling slightly dismayed as I noticed that he had taken up a form as a 3D holographic image that could communicate with me seamlessly.

Also, I notice his getup is somewhat related to this part of series, rather than in the past where he would be draped in a 3 piece zoot suit.

Max was observing his surroundings at the moment and he seemed surprised that he could walk through my table and also stick his head partially out from the window. The table that he had walked through had not even ruffled any of the scattered items in the table.

He looked like an apparition from the netherworld if not for his demeanour with his appearance like one of the Kingsmen, especially with his walking black cane.

"Max... You only appeared before within a few hours ago right? And not some hours like last night in the middle of the night or something?"

"Well... At the moment I used your last location to begin tracking on where you might transmigrate in the first place and use that as a starting waypoint for me. The equipment here is quite shabby compared to their higher level of tech and I may end up using their equipment rather than the ones I currently possess."
