Tsuru's hands shake holding the gun, her breath hitched and her body suddenly froze, would she shoot or would she step back. Allon seemed to be running out of things to say and his face reflected the tension in the air. Keme looked at her with a stoic expression waiting for her Choice.

She looked down at the gun and up at Keir, "Maybe it's not him?"

"It's him Tsuru, believe me," Keme a.s.sured her and stepped away from her view. Watching from the side and waiting in antic.i.p.ation of what her reaction would be.

Her frozen body began to move once more, one step after another, her gun on her back and her eyes glued on her target. She made it to beside Allon, her hand still shaking behind her and with the other, she held his shoulder, "Um, sorry to interrupt." She began getting the looks of everyone in the group on her including Keir's who seemed taken back by her.

Looking at her intently as if recognizing her, his mouth opened but before anything could be said Tsuru spoke up, "I'm sorry about him, we're just so excited to be here he's gone crazy wanting to... Uh."

"-Buy a chicken." Allon finished for her and smiled awkwardly, "Yes, and I'll call her Pipi, the flying chicken... right?"

"Don't start naming, you'll get attached. Anyways I'm really sorry about wasting your time. We'll be on our way." She hid the gun in her s.h.i.+rt and started backing away, giving the kind man one last smile.

Allon chuckled and grabbed her arm, "What are you doing?" He murmured when beginning to walk away with her.

"Retreating?" Said Tsuru in a whisper as sweat dripped down her forehead.

"Why? You had him."

"Because... I... I can't alright?" She stuttered trying to justify herself.

His lips twitched while smiling and noticed the gun on her back peeking out, "Can't? Can't? Darling, you have a gun and everything you need of curse you can."

"Fine, I won't."

He sighed and nodded to himself, bringing a hand up to rustled his hair, "That, I can believe. But I didn't stall and nearly bought a chicken for nothing, explain to me why after all this talk about killing him you back upon it."

Tsuru was quiet thinking up the words to tell him, her hands falling to her sides and her head looking at the ground, "I can't remember..."

"What do you mean can't remember? What is it you don't remember?" Allon asked worriedly, his tone aggravated and quickly spoken.

She choked up on her own words and closed her fists, "I just... it's... I don't know how to explain it."

Allon waved over Keme and together they sat her down and both spoke in unison, "Calm down."

She looked from Allon to Keme and sucked in a deep breath and began, "I can't remember anything before becoming a genie, I can't even remember moments in time while being one, the life I spent with Keir is all foggy and... I just don't really know what happened." She sobbed and choked up on her words while trying to form a sentence, "I- I have these flashes from the past... and while I do I just forget everything that's happening. I don't hear you or anyone around me- I don't even notice you saying my name... and it's all just so..." she couldn't continue anymore and broke down hiding her face between her knees.

"Tsuru," Keme called out, kneeling in front of her while she still hid, "It's going to be alright, we'll get you help."

"Maybe therapy could help." Allon added in, "You"ll be fine Tsuru, everything's going to get figured out."

She stood up and glared at them, "No, I don't need therapy, I don't need help, I just need someone to tell me... tell me what I'm missing."

"I get it's hard to admit you need help, but trust me it's better if you just accept it." Allon tried to explain and got pushed away by Tsuru.

"I said no." She glared at both of them and rushed on ahead. Angry at knowing they thought she needed something like therapy. No, therapy was for the crazy and she wasn't crazy at all. She just had some issues to deal with, some small mental problems that seemed to keep her from remembering what happened in the past.

Keme practically slammed his hand on Allon's head and grumbled, "Next time, phrase therapy in a way that someone that lived and was a costumed to life 300 years ago will understand. For her, you made it sound like she was crazy."

"Oh." Was the only word that left Allon's mouth. Realizing why she behaved so rash when hearing him out, "We should probably explain that."

"By us... I'm pretty sure you mean me. She's probably gonna ignore you for a while." Keme sighed and started jogging her way.

In his head trying to think up the way to tell her that's Allon's words weren't what she thought he meant. How to phrase that she wasn't crazy but Allon just tried to talk to her like a normal person from nowadays.
